This is in such a cute location, downtown Glen Ellyn. It's really close to other restaurants, bars, parks, movie theater and makes it a perfect place to stop for a smoothie treat. . I tried the Cloud Nine bowl - which has a coconut base, nutella, banana and granola. WOW. Party in the mouth. Yummers in my tummers. Amazingly fresh and filling The inside is also super cute and I saw a few ppl working and hanging out. Love this place and location and will definitely plan to come back when I'm in the area.

TL,DR * slow service…read more* overpriced * one worker was running the place by themselves * good taste at least Long version: I went into this place with high hopes based on their reviews. My food took over 30 minutes to be made. The food was good but it was $12 for a tiny bowl that fell apart when I opened it, way over priced for the amount received. I had to use the lid as a second bowl. Management should just order larger bowls. $1 upcharge for substitution of almonds instead of coconut. The poor worker was there all by herself with a line to the door. If they're understaffed the manager/owner should be helping but there was no manager on duty, which is why I'm writing this. They know they are understaffed. It's not fair to the worker to deal with poor management.

There wasn't very good tea flavor. It almost tasted like a powdered milk tea mix. I was also excited that they sold items from Kokoroya Bakery. This bakery had been on my list to try. I was there on the 25th and one of the items I got (matcha red bean bun) had a best by date of the 23rd. I guess I wouldn't expect a past best by item to be sold. It definitely tasted stale, along with the cookies I got.

The cheesecake was delicious: dense and not overly sweet. The waffle was also good, just slightly chewy with a green pandan custard filling. The staff were very friendly and told us all about the different drinks on the menu, but we just went with water because I had already had my allotment of caffeine for the day. Cute decor including paintings from local artists for purchase and giant bubble teas! It was a bit warm inside but there's also outdoor seating if you would prefer that. We will definitely return to try the Japanese cheesecake!
