Molos did not just deliver, it set a new standard for our little group dinners. We started with the Pikilia tasting plate and built our own trio of spreads. The roasted red pepper hummus was the unanimous table favorite, bold and deeply flavorful. The melitzanosalata was earthy and subtly sweet, a quieter but beautiful complement. The tirokafteri was good on its own but genuinely shone when swirled together with the other two. And the pita. That pita. Pillowy and soft with just enough structure to carry a generous pile of spread without collapsing. Outstanding. The fried zucchini with skordalia was fresh and light tasting despite being fried, a real trick. The potatoes needed a touch more salt to fully wake up but were otherwise solid. The saganaki was a table highlight, lit tableside with a proper OPA moment, gooey and beautifully crisped on top. Think mozzarella stick that went to finishing school. Mains were all exceptional. The filet mignon was wonderfully cooked, the EVO lemon sauce bringing a bright refreshing contrast to the richness of the beef. The pork chops were well charred and seasoned with the same confidence. The chicken ala feta was bright, light, and satisfying all at once. Dessert was a sampler of everything on the menu, all some gorgeous variation of creamy whipped filling, phyllo dough, honey, and nuts. Every single one cohesive and complementary. We tried them all and had no notes. We sat outside on a lovely evening, left with leftovers for days, and paid a price that felt almost unreasonably fair for what we got. For mains, and vegetarians can get the spanakopita; a buttered macaroni with cheese; or combine various tasty dips from the appetizer section. There's also salad which I ignore. The online menu has a few appetizers I didn't see (zucchini with skordalia! Oven-baked lima beans!). Warning, at least where I was sitting: the booths can move (not nailed down) - be careful when you get up. I got the chef's special spanakopita/tiropita and the roasted potato; be very specific when ordering as I was served the special "Molos Greek potato" with garlic yogurt and shredded cheese, which was fine but not what I wanted. The spanakopita and tiropita were tasty, with a good ratio between filo and filling, served on a folded cloth napkin (great idea, even perfect filo-wrapped items can be a bit greasy). Service started a little slow, as there was apparently a big party (they do that and they cater now). It was OK though I'm not sure English was my server's first language. I'll be back for the moussaka, which looks great (someone at the next table ordered it) and will be very precise when ordering my roasted Greek potato. Hopefully with a side of giant lima beans in tomato sauce.

If there's one thing you can rely on here is that that same recipe from 10 years ago or 30 years ago is still the same good recipe today. And that is absolutely fantastic. I do believe the portions have gotten slightly smaller over the years and obviously prices have gone up, but this is to be expected. The only downfall of this location is that they never take reservations that if you come during peak hours, you better expect to wait even over and up to an hour. Something else that I've seen really evolved at this place is that when they originally first opened, including the Greektown location, all servers, including bus, boys, etc., were all Greek that has definitely changed now over the years The parking lot here is still very generous however during peak times beware it will be hard to find the parking space and there is no valet. Well, consistency is fantastic. I do wish they had expanded the menu to make lokoumades dessert. It's one of my favorites and they still don't offer it.

I have given flips at least three chances. Tonight I have had it I want a great sub for the family and watch the cubs game. I ordered ahead of time a roast beef sub lettuce tomatoes mayonnaise, a turkey sub lettuce tomatoes mayonnaise, a combo sub lettuce tomatoes and Italian dressing with a side of fries and saganaki. When i went to pick the order before paying she read off my order everything was correct except they made a combo sausage sandwich not a combo sub. I then had to wait for them to make it. When I got home my roast beef sub was a corned beef sub, none of my subs had mayonnaise and all of them had onions. This was the third time they have screwed up my order. I will never eat here again! haven't been here in forever and when I entered I remember why. They switched to pepsi from coke. One of the owners explained to me why and we had a good laugh. Real nice guy and the cashier was a sweetheart. Hot dogs were absolutely delicious and my son had a gyros and said it was the best thing he's eaten all summer. Generous portions, great shakes and even the fries were pretty good all though I don't like the bigger fries, they made them delicious and were perfectly cooked. The food was good quality. Love the gyro plate with fries and the idea of putting the sauce on the pita instead of on the gyro meat was brilliant. The jalapeño poppers have cheddar cheese instead of cream cheese but still are good to eat every now and then. Unfortunately there is no drive thru but they still make it easy to walk in and out with your food in under 5 minutes so that's a plus. read more

Everything was pretty delish, service was quick...took about 10-12 minutes for all of this. There is a decent amount of seating and parking. Table, chairs, restroom, two screens to order, etc. The parking lot is decent, you can always find a space. I ordered the double cheeseburger, fries, and a blueberry fresh pressed lime. My girlfriend ordered the mango fresh pressed lime. Prices were fine. Service was good. They call your name when it's finished. I was lucky to get one of the last burgers and fries for the night before they sold out. I will definitely return here. -double cheeseburger 5 - two smash burgers in one. The burgers were very juicy and halal patties just hit differently. The sauce, grilled onions, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce just make this a perfect, simple burger. -fries 5 - they gave me a huge amount of fries. I love these kind of fries. They are crunchy and well seasoned, not too salty. -fresh pressed lime drinks 5 - these were delicious. I only wished they came in a bigger size or had free refills.

You can tell the food was made fresh and not just thrown together. The beef burger was really solid, juicy, well-seasoned, and had that good smashed/grilled flavor. The chicken burger was also surprisingly really good too, crispy, flavorful, and not dry at all. Sometimes one item is way better than the other at burger spots, but both actually held up. The fries were a good side and hit the spot, but the real sleeper hit for me was the mango shake because omg... SO good. Definitely one of those drinks you keep thinking about after. The place itself is pretty simple inside and gives more of a grab-your-food-and-go vibe, but the food was the main thing here and it delivered. If you want a casual burger spot with juicy burgers and a really good shake, this is worth trying. Would definitely come back.
