Last time he did the sparkle green fill this time my nails had grown out a little. I thought to try something different. I asked for sparkle silver, to fill in what has grown out. He blended everything with great attention to detail. He double checks each to make sure it looks good and smooth. He asked if I was ok with it also. No pressure to up sell like other places I have been to. I checked in with yelp and get 10% off. None of my nails have started to peal or fall off after coming to this nail salon. My advice... Don't waste your time with regular polish. I am unable to use gel due to working in a hospital. I went for a a French Tip for my daughters wedding. Please see photos attached. I really liked their service however this review is more about the shops lack of honoring appointment times. I scheduled an appointment for 1pm and didn't get in till 230 after waiting. They do a great job but I for sure was not going to do my manicure and have to wait another hour for that service. They are scheduling too many people. I will say their nail techs are great and do a wonderful job. They need someone with a backbone to say no to people who make an appointment and add on a service or people who make an appointment and then bring an extra person. read more

I came in wanting to get chrome nails done. Vanessa was the one doing my nails. She pulled examples for the closest match as to what I was looking for. She even went as far as painting a few fake nails to show me what the chrome would look like. We never ended up finding what I was looking for so I opted for another chrome color. I didn't realize how close it was To a meeting i had to go to (my fault for coming in at the time that i did knowing i had to be somewhere) I felt terrible that I had to leave halfway through my nail appointment but Vanessa was very nice and made me appointment to come back later that day. First let me start with THE GOOD: *Nice employees: Peter is entertaining to have as a tech, he jokes and tries to make you smile * Clean equipment (for the most part): They autoclave their working material but not everything is clean (see below) *Easy to book appointments with *Realtively quick: they don't drag on quick services for ever The Bad: *Employees: Unfortunately as sweet as Peter is, I came for a pedicure a while back and he didn't let me get the color I wanted, (white) because apparently my nails are "too" dark.... i appreciate the suggestion but just give me what I want... I always get white toes done before a trip and I had to settle for a lavender per his suggestion. *Cleanliness: sterilized equipment is GREAT but it hardly makes a difference when there is dust everywhere and the gel setting machines are disgustingly dirty and dusty. *Let me make a note here.. nail files CANNOT be sanitized. What is pushing me to not come back comes down to the fact that my skin was literally being filed away with a used up, dusty nail file. (During a manicure). Unfortunately it drew a little blood, albeit, light bleeding but nonetheless blood.... that's my skin and blood on a nail file that will be used on someone else and possibly transferred to someone else should they get cut as well. A good nail tech gives you clean looking nails, a GREAT nail tech doesn't cut their guest regardless whether their nail bed is small too. That should be included ..as service ... but no, they charge you $5.50 if you want any shape other than the basic square shape . I was shocked ... If you go here like the next day after you get your nails done or later in the same day you got your nails done because you notice something not right so you go back to get it fixed, be prepared to pay extra.! also they will tell you nothing is wrong so they don't have to fix it. The reason why I had to go to a new place is because I just moved back to roseville from Sacramento area. I have a nail lady I always go to in sac but decided to find a place in Roseville near by so I don't have to drive 40minutes just to get my nails done .. but coming here...I rather drive the 40min than to come here again lol. No Billy did not do my pedicure but I would've expected a much longer massage on my poor feet and especially for paying extra ($31.50) for the LONG massage. :( I understand times are different these days, but I paid the extra $6 for a LONG massage and received the shortest massage ever. And the paraffin wax wasn't even on my feet for 2 minutes. I know my ingrown toes hurt for a minute, but it was fine. I was literally in the chair for a total of 35 minutes (including 5-10 minutes soaking). I hope it's better next time if I go back with my daughter. read more

I'm giving the nail salon a 4 because my appointment was 3 hours long for a pedi and a full mani. It was one of their first days opening so their clientele was high in volume, so it didn't bother me and I waited. It kind of made sense but it should of been more organized. Everyone was nice and accommodating too. I'm mostly proud of the services I received. My nails were exactly what I wanted and my pedi was soothing. I came here tonight for the first time in years since having a not so good experience and I'm so glad I gave this place another shot (I only came tonight because they are the only ones open until 8). My manicurist was Billy and he was amazing! I am very picky and asked for ombré glitter acrylic tops and Billy was so patient with me wanting a darker pink on the bottom and took off the light pink, he also took off the first glitter powder I changed my mind wanting and found one that matched more to the picture of what I wanted. Billy asked me after each nail if it was to my liking and told me not to worry he wants me to like it and to leave happy. He was fast and the first person to do my nails on my pinky and ring finger without complication (I can't straighten or bend those fingers from cutting my tendons). I highly recommend Billy and ProTop Nails and very happy I had a better experience. I will be coming back now 100%! I have been coming here regularly for the last two years and am never disappointed. I go every 3 weeks to get a pedicure with gel polish. Tee always does a great job!! There is usually a wait first thing Sunday mornings, but it's worth the wait and the price you pay. And you can always make an appointment if you are on a schedule. I have loved this place since they opened, but it seems the quality is going down! I paid a shitload for a fill and gel polish. I got them done on 9/5/17 and the thumb chipped in 2 days! Then, I went in on 9/8/17 got the thumb fixed for free, so thank you for that! But, here I am today 9/13 and they look like absolute shit!!!! I'm so disappointed. I drive an hour just for this place and I think at this point I will be finding a new shop. When I say you were amazing in the past you were! My nails would easily last 3 weeks with no chips, peels, or lifting...and I take good care of my nails! Needless to say she was angry and they sent her away trying to get her to return at 4pm. Then when his 10am appointment showed up, he sent my daughter to someone else to do the paint and design. The whole point of an appointment with Billy is so you can have him do the design and then you just get pushed to someone else because they over-booked??? What!?! I got a pedicure. I opted for the #2 "Elite Pedicure". I feel totally ripped off. The "LONG" massage claimed in the pedicure description was less than 2 min on each foot. They did not use a timer, it was just whatever the pedicurist felt like doing. My nails came out jagged. She cut my nails and used a small paper file on my toenails for about 3 seconds. UGH! After speeding through my pedicure, the nail technician roamed through the salon straightening up the nail polish and talking to other employees. Why didn't she use all that free time to do my pedicure as it was described on the menu??? Bottom line, if you request someone, know that they double book and over-book. So you won't get good service. And, do not get the pedicure upgrade. TOTAL RIP-off! Not worth the price. We will NOT be back. read more

Went here with my sisters for spa pedicures. This place is small, and smelled REALLY strongly of chemicals. Their selection of regular nail polishes are smaller than other nail salons I've been to, but I still found the color I usually get. I got the #2 spa pedicure for $29 and I enjoyed it. The scrub they used on my leg was a little too rough for me, but everything else felt amazing. I loved the smell and feel of the warm wax before they painted my toes.
