Located on chestnut street Street parking and there is a large parking lot in the back which is nice Inside is ok.some tables . Kinda looks half deserted. Didn't have any issues with staff. They greeted me- I ordered. I paid. I left Just tried one simple plain slice . Wanted to try from a different place other than my regular go to. My slice was warm like I like it. Nice amount of cheese. Overall-taste was ok- like a regular slice. Not terrible but not my favorite either. I didn't see very much variety in pizza slices but then again it was past 8pm.

As a New Yorker, it almost feels like a sin to say this about a New Jersey Pizzeria, but Proud Papa's has some of the best pizza I've had. Specifically, their buffalo chicken pizza is to die for. Proud Papa's does both delivery and dine-in. There's not a ton of seating, but it's usually not packed. Their menu also doesn't stop at pizza, but includes sandwiches, salads, soup, and just about any American Italian dish you can think of- and I've been pretty happy with my meal every single one of the many times I've been here. The service is pretty fast, and their menu has a few coupons built into it. All in all, being that this is a pretty suburban pizza spot, the prices are incredibly reasonable.

Been coming here for long time. We really like their thin crust pizza. Great chicken Cesar salad & minestrone soup. They even have gelato. Love that they have a rewards program which keeps you coming back.

Excellent slice, one bite everybody knows the rules. 8.4. I grew up in the East village this reminds me of good New York slice. F@king Yum

To say I was disappointed in this place is an understatement…read more My spouse and I went there more than once and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food very nice, quiet and respectful place. Unfortunately not today. The server seemed inexperienced and was not attentive to the customer's needs and when she was confronted , she didn't care. The Owner for some reason brought their children to the establishment and they were uncontrollable, yelling and screaming bumping into tables, not a good atmosphere for a restaurant. If you own an establishment, I would suggest hire a babysitter. To have children yelling and screaming, it kills the atmosphere. And ruins the experience. PLUS WE WERE SO CLOSE TO THE OVEN Where they make the pizza so they saw us waiting they LITERALLY served everyone else around us except for our table. Lastly when we were finally served, they only sent us one order MIND YOU only after we complained when we had 4 at the table who ordered and we were waited for said Orders for the past 35 minutes. I TOLD THEM NO...take it back please why would take one order after waiting that long..... That was the last straw for me, I asked for the check and left... No one said sorry and no one cared im hoping the color of our skin wasn't a factor but these days its not impossible. This was a very disappointing, disgusting and unfortunate experience. I will not be returning to this establishment nor recommend anyone to come.

The gnocchi tasted nothing like pumpkin. The sauce it was supposed to come in was pesto and Gorgonzola. There was zero Gorgonzola in that dish. The pesto sauce was watery and bland. The dish wasn't good at all. My husband didn't care for their pizza either. You could barely see any sausage on it, and they were stingy with the cheese. The sauce had no flavor either. We definitely wouldn't come back. I definitely don't recommend coming here.

I truly enjoyed how this pie was prepared and tasted. The crust was crunchy, the cheese was just so right as to Not linger in your mouth like chewing gum, the tomatoes and seasonings made their own statement, and the sauce was so delectable as it tied everything together like a drummer does in a band. Who would have 'THUNK' that you could get top-notch pizza in a little hooterville junction of a place like Garwood. I always pickup my orders, but maybe next time I'll reserve a table and eat there. Based on my observations, the service appears to be closely aligned with the food. The patrons were very happy and seemed to be enjoying the experience. As I explore more items on their menu, I will provide future updates so feel free to come back.

I moved…read moreto and lived in Cranford for 33 years and this was a consistent "go to" pizza shop (yes, they sell other Italian food, but I go to pizzerias to eat pizza). I recently returned to Cranford for a visit and had to make "my pizzeria" a stop. Upon entering, I was greeted by new and friendly faces. I got engaged in a conversation with Dad of the owner, a man who grew up in the Bronx - where you could find great pizza when I was a kid. I am pleased to say that the new ownership is upholding the New York pizza standard well: if you want genuine NY pizza, this is a worthy stop. Manga!

DoorDash Pizza Diaries - Calabria Pizza…read more Another dash, another slice--because if I deliver it, I have to try it. That's the rule. Calabria Pizza is one of those solid, no-nonsense neighborhood spots that knows exactly what it's doing. The pizza hits that sweet spot: a nicely cooked crust with just the right chew, sauce that's flavorful without being overpowering, and cheese that's balanced--not greasy, not sliding off the slice and ruining your shirt mid-bite (we've all been there). From a Dasher's perspective, orders were ready on time, staff was chill, and pickups were smooth--which already puts them ahead of half the places I visit. From an eater's perspective? This is dependable, classic pizza you'd happily order again on a random Tuesday when cooking feels like a personal attack. Is it trying to reinvent pizza? Nope. Is it doing the fundamentals right? Absolutely. If you're ordering through DoorDash or grabbing a slice in person, Calabria Pizza is a safe bet--and in the pizza world, that's high praise. Final verdict: out of 5 Reliable slices, good balance, and Dasher-approved efficiency. I'd dash it--and eat it--again.

The owner was friendly as soon as we walked in and told us it would be about 8 minutes for the pizza- super fast! I would be surprised if he even crossed the minute mark before it was in the oven. Great conversation with the owner while we waited, and learned he had a spot near Asbury Park before moving here and opening this location. They do some cool things like "2 foot slices" (for those days you only want a slice lol). Countless specialty pies if you are in the mood for unique offerings. A large cheese pie is less than what you would pay at a chain- that's a huge win win- support local! After getting our hot pizza, my wife and I knew 2 bites in that we would be coming back. Great flavor on the sauce and quality cheese. They cook their pies half in the pan and half on the stone and the crust is almost airy with just the right amount of crunch at the end. We loved talking to Joe about his fav spots in NJ and NY- and he is a pretty humble owner that gives flowers to the spots that he thinks are doing it right. Will definitely be back! Pro tip: Don't be embarrassed when Joe asks if you need a box for leftovers and you realize there are no leftovers!
