There are very few massage therapists that truly 'get it'. Bella indeed has healing hands! Not all massage therapists understand and 'feel' the connection between muscle, bone, ligaments, fascia & the mind. Let me tell you, she NAILED it. Her touch and exploration of my trouble areas, then diving in with the solution with cupping and triggered massage was exactly what I would've done. Her communication throughout, her questions, her gentle silence was perfect. Her technique with muscle stretching and triggered massage points was spot on. With that being said there is no one else I would trust to inject and certainly not after learning and listening to all of the education! When you're a model you get to hang out all day and basically take the class with them, until they are ready to inject. I'm not naive to the injecting process (I've worked in the spa industry, dermatology offices etc) but I was naive to what injectors have to know!!!!!!! I'll admit I'm the girl in her 20s etc that would buy the Groupon to save money. With age usually comes wisdom.. and the wisdom I gained in this experience about how much thought you should give to your injector was mind blowing. To hear, all of the things they have to consider, know, have knowledge in?? To take this artery, this vein, this bone structure etc into consideration. Inject with your patients eyes open (to stay in contact with them) because if there is any vision changes you have 45 mins to restore vision if vision is lost...... It scared me. But scared me in a way where I also felt comfort. Knowing I was in Jennifer's chair and the trust I have in her. I felt compelled to write a lengthy review on how everyone should give serious thought to who is behind the needle or cannula. There are many things that could go wrong and you should question the integrity of your provider, their knowledge and the products they use. In today's world it's a fact that people "cut corners". Do you want an injector who "cuts corners" or do you want the best? The best being Jennifer and I'm sure the knowledge she passes on to her team! It's a no brainer for me

The first time I went to Sarah Heidsma at Provo Salon was for a Brazillian Blowout. Sarah was not only professional but very knowledgable. I have African-American hair type and Sarah explained how the process worked on both relaxed and colored hair before she even started the process. Sarah made me feel comfortable from the start. In 1hr and 1/2 my hair was shiny and light as a feather...just beautiful. It's been difficult for me to find a good stylist in the Scottsdale/ Paradise Valley area that is experienced with my hair type so I was relieved to find Sarah. I've been back to Sarah for haircuts, color, and more blowouts and my hair has always come out fabulous! I consider myself quite fortunate to stumble upon Sarah H at Prova Salon one year ago. My regular stylist at another salon vanished without a trace and I had the bad experience of trying to break in a couple of other stylists at various locations. I just could not find someone to give me a consistantly great haircut at a good price. Enter Sarah. From our first meeting she treated me like a valued customer serving up a cool attitude and a hot cup of coffee, slid me into her chair and gave me a great cut. This was my first visit to Prova salon and I loved it! I got a cut/color from Michelle and could not be happier with it!! I have tried several salons in the area over the last few years and hands down this one is the best. It has a great mix of clean & modern, yet down to earth. There was no wait, I was offered a drink, the shampoo was beyond relaxing, and best of all the stylist really knew what she was doing! I left with smooth, shiny, perfectly styled hair and got tons of compliments! I am super picky about my hair, but so glad I tried out this salon. I started going to Prova Salon around Christmas time last year. When I went in my hair needed a full makeover! It was damaged and didn't have much style to it at all. Diane did my color & cut and it turned out GREAT!!! She definitely made sure my hair was thoroughly highlighted. She takes her time and doesn't rush. She is very easy to talk to and makes the long process of highlighting my hair fun! She isn't pushy and cares about my experience from beginning to end. She is the BEST! I have been getting my hair done by Sarah Heidsma at Prova for over two years. I also recently started taking my 14 year-old daughter to Sarah. We have completely different hair--hers thick and curly; mine fine and straight. Sarah does an excellent job on both of us. From start to finish, Sarah is attentive and makes sure she knows what we want done and makes sure we are satisfied with the end result. I went into Prova Salon for a keratin treatment (aka Brazilian blowout) with Sarah Heidsma...she was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the product and made me feel right at home. She had one of the girls run to Starbucks to get a "protein plate" (snack) for me because I had come from yoga and hadn't eaten lunch yet! I've been going to Sarah for about a year and I love her! I have very coarse and frizzy hair. I need a lot- Brazilian blow out, cut, and color to make it manageable. I came in to get highlights in my hair, expecting one of the professionals to help me out. After I get there, some random dude comes out who barely speaks English. Barely asks me questions about what I want, and barely talks about what he is going to do starts to do the cap thing on my head. He was extremely rough using the tool, stabbing my head very hard. After he finishes he finishes dying my hair, charges me $300 then when I ask how to maintain it he responds "I trust you will make the right decisions"... like no I know nothing about this, this was my first time. Then a couple hours later, when it drys, I look at it and it looks TERRIBLE. The sides of my head looked like I had cheetah print and the top was VERY orange. After I realize. I go back in a couple days later. After having to take time off of work because of how bad it looked and how anxious it made me. They agreed that it looked terrible and they told me that they would fix it free of charge.... They schedule me for the next day and I come in, then as they start they say "btw we are going to charge you $150 for this". They said this AFTER they started and told me they'd fix it for free. Then I asked why it wasn't free anymore and they ignored the question and walked away. When I went to the register they gave me a product to buy and told me I had to pay and when I asked why it wasn't free anymore again, they said because a different person fixed it. Which made no sense because they scheduled me with her and said it would be free to fix. Again, normally I don't leave reviews. Look at my profile for proof. This was such an incredibly terrible experience, save your money and your mental health and go somewhere else.

The horrible receptionist at the front told me it was not the hair dressers fault because since I am pregnant my hormones change my hair and it is essentially my fault and there is nothing more they could do. As I was walking out of the salon another hair dresser says "it's not that bad". Wow. That's what I want to hear! I am so disappointed. Especially after she still Charged me $60.00 for the trim! Now I am a pretty understanding person and I appreciate her trying to make it right the next day. She's only human and we don't always get it right... I get it. But I walked out of that salon after 8 hours with damaged hair that looks worse than when I initially went in. Now I need to go somewhere else and have them fix my 60.00 mistake. She is so creative and knows what will look awesome-just trust her. She'll suggest colors and patterns for you if you don't know what you want, and if you have a crazy idea she can probably do it. And she's great at incorporating rhinestones into stuff!! I am so loyal to her nail art that even though I live in NYC, land of the man/pedi combos, I almost never get my nails done here because I'd rather wait the six months until I make my semi-annual visit home to AZ. Her toenail paintings seem to last forever! Some of my favorites are watermelons (great for summer!), American Flag (complete with rhinestones, a 4th of July fave), zebra stripes, tuxedos (SO cute for formal events! and she does whatever color combo you want), and team spirit/school colors (she even begrudgingly painted my toes with U of A spirit despite her ASU allegiance!). I'm attaching a few pics of toenail art I've had done here to show just what a fabulous job Jen does. I realize this sounds like a paid promotion for her, but honestly, Jen is just amazing. She's so easy to talk to, and so fun! I dare you to see her and NOT like her. Just try! Everyone I've referred to her over the years has nothing but raves for her. As for other services at Carolyne's, I've had my hair done by Liz and she's pretty good. I have friends who have seen other stylists there (whose names I can't remember off the top of my head) that they love, and the place is pretty big and spacious, so there are plenty of stylists to choose from! With regards to the comments on the front desk people, I understand...but we're in Scottsdale. Come on. The owner and her daughter have always been nice to me and my fam, possibly because we've been there with them for so long, but I've seen the way they act around other people and it's not anything out of the ordinary for this town. It's definitely not the worst I've seen, but just suck it up-you're in a salon in the land of pretentiousness. You'll walk out of there as gorgeous as the rest of the city and you'll forget the front desk people five minutes later anyway. Moral of the story: GO SEE JEN!!!!

She kept hounding us and talking our ears off when all we wanted to do was leave and pay. They need better training. Some senior stylist I can tell are good. But the young ones need more color Training. Invest in education- something like that. My sister wasn't too happy with her birthday color experience.

The atmosphere & conversations I had while getting my hair done felt like I was talking to friends, I'd always had- even though I just met these ladies. I found that the salon was reopened on Instagram and hadn't had my hair done in 2 years and was long over due for a professional color and cut! They were able to squeeze me in the week of Mother's Day, and made me feel so welcomed & so pampered. I felt completely at ease while in the chair. I sent pics of my long term hair goals, and explained that I would be doing my hair myself in between visits and Jackie my hair lady was completely accommodating! She did not make me feel bad, for not being able to get my hair done monthly and did my hair so that I could maintain it myself in between quarterly visits. When I explained my budget, she also accommodated that which is unheard of?! Hair ladies NOT trying to upscale but prioritizing the integrity of your hair, desire and pocket book is astounding!
