Wow! Such a nice chill vibe for beautiful fall weather. I found this new local gem on TikTok and had to do a girls' evening out. The cider flight is a must. I also enjoyed the sparkling cranberry cider. A food truck is usually on grounds, but they have snacks to enjoy also. Loved the fire pits and heaters. Bravo to the live musician! The cider specialist is friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Great service and experience overall. My new favorite rustic spot.

The service and ambiance were great, we didn't order any food. We will be visiting again in early spring. Seems like a nice local hang out.

First visit to this restaurant. I've driven past it a lot and decided to try it. I tried the…read morebrisket, burnt and baked beans and the jalapeño slaw. The flavor of the brisket was excellent! As good as anybody in Richmond for sure. However, the Cut wasn't quite right. Not really cut across the grain so it ended up being a little stringy. But very moist and tasty. The jalapeño slaw was an A+. Loved it. The burnt end baked beans were probably a B-. They were solid, but with burnt ends being in the name, I was kind of looking for some actual bits of burnt ends. The staff were very friendly, the portions were nice sized, and the food came out really fast! I'll definitely try it again!

I arrived around 12pm on a Monday. I was immediately greeted by the bartender who sat me at the bar outside (my request). I asked for a surprise me drink and they asked a few questions and when I received the drink, It was absolutely spot on to what I normally enjoy. For food I ordered the brisket with a side of Mac n cheese and Oh My Goodness this hit so hard. The brisket was easy to cut into, so much flavor without the sauce, but I'm a sauce girly so I got their "smokin hot" and "apple bbq" and wow, the smokin hot sauce had a lot of flavor and a nice spice to It! The Mac n cheese was cheesy with a soft texture where most places are normally rough at least in my experience! Now on to the service. Carey and Berit are by far the best bartenders in Richmond. They are so caring, respectful, patient, and will keep you company if you're sitting alone . They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They are a total vibe.

My husband and I were just in Charlottesville for a week to go hiking at Shenandoah with our pups…read more We went to a couple of pet-friendly places each day to unwind after hiking and Potter's Craft Cider was one of our favorites. We saw online that they had open-mic night that Thursday and had hoped it would be outside since we had our dogs and had to be on the patio, but alas it was not (maybe because it was cold or maybe it's always inside). We did get to see bits of it when going inside to use the restroom or get more cider though and it was so fun! It definitely draws a big crowd, so they were very busy once it started around 7. They had "happy hour" open to close with $15 carafes. We ended up splitting 3 over the course of a few hours. We tried the grapefruit hibiscus, the imperial dry, and the farmhouse dry. All were so good and crisp! To help keep us warm we split the special that night, which was the black bean chili nachos. They were delicious, but a little pricey at $19. Although I'm sure it's because it had so many ingredients in it and you have to account for potentially not going through all of them, and we were on vacation, so we looked past price points during our trip. Later in the night we also split the warm artichoke dip and rented a fire pit beside our table. Outside patios in the fall are always chilly, but the fire pits were the star of the show and warmed everything right up and provided a cozy ambiance. It was also magical to sit outside because the property stays relatively dark and sits further out from Charlottesville than other breweries, wineries, etc and you can look up and see all of the stars while sipping your cider. We would love to come back if we are ever in Charlottesville again!
