These forms have been synthesized together by Sifu Richard Tsim, a 1st generation Chinese American teacher who has studied martial arts since he was very young. On the kung fu side, it's a mix of Hung Gar, Wing Chun and northern Shaolin styles. The Tai Chi is most similar to Wu style, and leads into circular Ba Gua forms. Tai Chi classes also include Qi Gong exercises. The facilities include an indoor and outdoor workout area which are inspiring both to look at and to practice in. Classes are held seven days a week, mornings every day and evenings on weekdays. Students can choose to attend just kung fu or just tai chi classes, but most students do a blend of both. Most of the students here are adults, but there is also now a Youth class for tweens and teens. Very young children would probably not work out well, but a focused 9-15 year old would be right at home.
