Stayed at the Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center for two nights in June while attending a…read moreconference hosted at the hotel. I flew into Salt Lake City International Airport, which is about a 50-minute drive away, and arrived late in the evening. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
This is a large property with two hotel towers, multiple elevator banks, a sizable ballroom, numerous meeting rooms, and an amphitheater, all located on the ground level. The facilities felt modern and well-maintained. As part of the conference, I had both breakfast and lunch at the hotel. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, and beverages, while lunch featured a sandwich and salad bar along with cookies for dessert.
There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub, which I did not visit, as well as a well-equipped fitness center. The gym was one of the better hotel gyms I have used, with multiple treadmills, a Peloton bike, ellipticals, stair steppers, weight machines, dumbbells up to 50 pounds, kettlebells, and foam rollers.
My room was spacious and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was good-sized, and the shower that had good water pressure. The room also had a couch and a walk-in closet.
The hotel is in downtown Provo, within walking distance of several restaurants, cafes, and bars. I departed from Provo Airport, which is only about a 10-minute drive from the hotel and much more convenient than returning to Salt Lake City.
Overall, this was a very good conference hotel and a comfortable place to stay. I would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to both business and leisure travelers visiting Provo.
