This place is an armpit. It stinks. The waitstaff was okay but didn't treat us like they did the "regulars". I wouldn't go back.

4:00pm on a Friday during Lent as a snowstorm was hitting and the place was cheek to jowl packed. I had read the reviews and ordered ahead and drove down from Dearborn. Spent a few years in Wyandotte in the 80's. Back then, the gold Standard for perch was Frank's in the South End. This place is so busy, give it 45 minutes for your food to come out. Portion size is generous. I found the perch to be excellent. But, the thing that will bring me back is that everyone was so damn nice. The waitperson said they had been busy since lunchtime and yet no one was stressed out and as kind as can be. Oh, yeah. The place is cozy feeling on the inside. My gang is always looking for a place to watch football on Saturdays, we will definitely give Prush's a try. read more

Nice little place to go to for some cheap drinks and really good perch! My family has been coming here for a very long time and it never disappoints. My boyfriend and I decided to try Prush's after reading all of the great reviews it got on here. Plus, it's really close to home. It sounded like the type of place we would enjoy. We went on a Monday night after attending a super frigid Tiger's game and it was exactly what we wanted!!! We both got burgers to eat, mine a boring plain cheeseburger and my boyfriend a bacon cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and they were amazingly delicious!!! I do believe I said (multiple times) it was the best cheeseburger of my life!!! I actually couldn't finish mine (huge 1/2 pounder) so my boyfriend had the rest and he actually said mine was better... that's a lot to say when a burger is that good all by itself. There weren't too many people there, like I said it was a Monday night around 9:30 but the service was great and the prices definitely affordable for such great food! Solid three star dining. It's a neighborhood bar and the atmosphere is great. We came at 10 on a Friday and it was lively but not too busy. We ordered a gravy burger and patty melt. The gravy burger was good and so was the patty melt for the most part but their rye bread game was weak and it ruined the sandwich for me. It tasted good, it just wasn't what I wanted. Otherwise everything was alright. Also, I burnt my tongue on molten mini taco goo. I don't know how to feel about that. Awful! Fish is frozen and was served cold. French fries were cold. Shrimp was frozen & served warm, at best. Do NOT believe the positive reviews. Stopped in this bar last night with two friends and my hubby,Never been there before.I agree the outside isnt exciting but I love the huge wood door and once inside.I loved the bar setting,wood floors that creak,high ceilings and lamps/lights... We were out of town and stopped by after looking at reviews and it was what we wanted. The food was fresh and cheap yet it's quaint. Don't expect it to be like a fish market. It's mostly burgers and fries. Didn't drink cause we had to drive but overall, a good experience. read more

As Downriver as Downriver gets. Country music karaoke, no craft beer. The servers were nice, but I prefer the Rockery.

From the outside, Prush's just looks like another crusty old bar in Wyandotte. The building is just a washed out grey, and it kind of looks like a place where you would find a bar full of old men, drowning their sorrows with booze. We stopped in to catch the game yesterday, and I actually liked the place. It had some charm and character. I loved the old building with the high ceilings and exposed piping. But, the best thing about the place was: THEY HAVE THE LEG LAMP FROM THE CHRISTMAS STORY THERE! The clientele was younger than I expected...late 20's to early 40's. We ordered up some beer and bar food, which went down good while watching the Wings lose. Oh well, there's always next year! read more

A real sleeper. The place looks like a total dive from the outside, but is clean and well decorated on the inside. I stopped in for lunch, and ordered the chicken dumpling soup and southwest burger, which came with fries. The soup was excellent, and the burger was also; hand-patted and fresh. I had a soft drink, but it looks like they have a large domestic list with a few micro brews mixed in. The lunch crowd consisted of me and one other person, so I recommend stopping here for a quiet meal. Service was friendly and attentive as well. read more

They have the best Perch dinners available, alas, on friday nights only. Lots of other good menu choices here including menu items for the legendary Riveria restaurant which closed about 40 years ago. The Riveria was known for Gravy Frys. Anyone who ever had them was hooked. Several restaurants around Wyandotte offer this old time treat, but Prush's is the only one to offer some of the other menu choices from the Riveria as well. This is a cozy little place, good for a crowd or for two. I have even came in alone and sat at the bar being desperate for their Perch. Good jukebox selection caps it off. read more

This is a quaint local bar with a pool table and jukebox. The ambiance is kitchy along with Detroit team memorabilia. The crowd is pretty diverse with young and old customers, mainly locals. The beer is cheap...not a huge selection, but I always get a pint of Blue Moon Belgian White with the orange slice. They also offer liquor drinks. Food-wise, the perch dinner on Fridays during Lent is very good. It is has a deep fried cracker breading and tastes very, very fresh. The long lines on Fridays confirm this. I've also had a burger which was good and juicy as well as the ribs, which my husband says he really likes. An all round good place to go for food and drinks. read more

Classic...I don't usually write reviews. Maybe I should start more often. This bar is pretty basic, but its clean and the owner is awesome. I don't mean basic as a bad thing. Its just it doesn't have a theme. I have lived here for 5 years and haven't found any bars I like. This one I like. It was a Saturday afternoon. Not too busy, but a good family crowd. Prush's is a classy joint. It's a family owned place which is great compared to the franchise junk around town. Have apparently been in business like 30 years. DRINKS Beer is always frosty cold and prices are typically lower than average. They have a very large selection of beers and liquors but not too large that things go stale like the places that advertise 100+ beers on tap. FOOD One of the best burgers in town, a classic bar burger. Stopped in on a Friday once and didn't know they did a fish fry. Excellent perch that reminded me of the good ole times as a kid going for fish fry Fridays during Lent - but they have fish every Friday. Try the chicken quesadilla! ATMOSPHERE Mixed age crowd all day with a young outgoing crowd at night. Obvious family owned place with the owners (father/son team) always greeting people with a smile and treating me like they've known me for a lifetime. Old building with high ceilings and nostalgia hanging everywhere. Family pictures are mixed in with the bar signs and beer mirrors. Jukebox has decent selection and is typically playing. 1 pool table, 1 video game box on bar. Saturday night is karaoke run by the owner. Total blast.
