I recently purchased a package for my husband and I to do 5 of the "Stay Strong" classes at the…read moreCanton location. The hubs has been wanting to try out Barwis Methods since reading "Three and Out" and even more so since their new show started airing. We were a little concerned with the way the Stay Strong class was portrayed on the show and thought about returning the voucher for the workouts (worried it wouldn't be as hard of a workout as we wanted). We decided to check it out and make the best of it if it turned out to not be our cup of tea. We are so glad we did! Our trainer (Larry, I think?) was awesome and we had an excellent workout. It is sort of a boot-camp style class, using exercise balls for ab work, resistance bands for leg work, etc. We had a full hour of constant instruction and from what we heard from other attendees, the type of workout changes all the time. I was sweat-soaked from head to toe but still had a great time and felt very challenged the entire hour. We plan to re-arrange some weekend plans to fit in the workouts sooner rather than later because we loved the class so much. The facility is clean without being fru-fru, and the entire staff was helpful and friendly. The gym floor overlooks the two sheets of ice at Arctic Edge which, as a hockey player, I enjoyed. As an FYI, they have a policy to not give out pricing information over the phone. Go check out the facility and meet the staff to get the pricing for the various classes/memberships they offer, you'll be glad you did!

Great Class!! The instructor is easy to follow and keeps the energy high for a fun workout…read moreexperience.

Fantastic gym to drop in when you're in the area. I've dropped in here around 4-5 times now over…read morethe past year when I'm in town for work. Coaches are friendly and approachable. Good classes. Solid no frills programming. Ridiculously nice space - it is HUGE. Great gym!

Since this place is the only reason I can claim to have some semblance of sanity (okay, okay, take…read moreit easy)... it's time to not only bump up the star rating but also mention some changes/updates. I moved out A2-way during the earlier days of COVID last year and needed a place to exercise. Remembered enjoying Wolverine Strength and Conditioning several years back and decided to give it a go. At that time, they were doing outdoor workouts, which was a big bonus! Plus, there were a lot of really great people both training and being trained. It was the most social thing that I was doing at the time - so not only did I improve my health by exercising regularly again, I also improved my health by having a social connectedness that was lacking in so many other areas of life. After the summer months, we headed inside. They made nice little "parking spots" with all the equipment separated out so that you had your own space. Of course they required face masks, per state regulations. But they also took extra precautions by giving us cleaning towels and products to wipe down the equipment after every use. They also had us go to the common areas in groups to keep contact down. Now that the weather is turning nice, they have told us that we will be going outside periodically again. It's SOOOO great of them to do that since it really is hard on the equipment, plus it's labor intensive. I honestly can't say enough good things about this gym. If you're looking to get your health in check (especially since we know that health is SO IMPORTANT when it comes to infectious disease) - definitely check this place out. You can drop in for free (one session), and then the $160/month is for month-to-month without an annual commitment. It's like getting a personal trainer - but for a LOT less! I cannot believe the changes I've seen in my body in less than a year... and how much more agile and good I feel. For the record, I'm 47 years old and feel better than I think I've ever felt. I may have gray hair... but I wouldn't mess with me if I were you! ;) Haha.
