Do Better, PS Property Management. Our Community Deserves It. As a longtime homeowner in Highpointe, I can say firsthand that PS Property Management, and specifically our community manager Chris Hashisaki, have failed to meet even the basic expectations of professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness. Requests for records that should be easy to share digitally are stonewalled behind outdated certified mail requirements -- even though state law allows for "electronic or reasonably available formats." When questioned about lack of enforcement of clearly documented nuisance issues (like persistent dog barking), Chris's response was essentially "go talk to your neighbor." Meanwhile, any issue you bring up seems to immediately trigger a complaint back at you, whether or not it's relevant or legitimate. It's retaliatory, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Residents are treated like a nuisance instead of valued stakeholders in the community we fund and care about. There is no accountability, no effort to listen, and certainly no transparency. Even requests to view the HOA's management agreement -- a basic right under Texas Property Code -- are denied unless you jump through hoops and pay per page for what is almost certainly a digital document. This is not how a community should be managed. Chris H is not the right fit for Highpointe, and PS Management's poor policies and practices are enabling this dysfunction. Homeowners, take note: we deserve better. And we have every right to demand it. read more

Not good service. Since they took over falcon pointe in Pflugerville they've messed up my monthly dues. Now after agreeing to wait until things straightened out they are charging me a $20 late fee!!! I've been in falcon pointe for 20 years and until ps property took over I've never had a billing issue. And they refuse to take care of the fee. Shame on them read more

This property management company has been responsible for my development not having mail boxes for NINE MONTHS now. The residents of our development have called, emailed, and put pressure in every way and this very simple issue is still not fixed. We've been promised again and again that it won't be much longer now, but even to be without mail for one month is annoying, let alone the better part of the year. They've switched our "assistant property manager" around about 3 times at this point and not a single one has made progress on this issue. I am furious and flabbergasted that such an important residential issue could be left unresolved for all this time and I would not recommend this company to anyone. Note: this is the second time I am posting a negative review for this company. I left another one back in September, and our point of contact at that time called me on the phone and assured me the issue would be taken care of by, at the latest, Halloween, and politely asked me to take me review down so I complied. It is now a month since the promised action and nothing has been solved, once again. I will not be taking this review down, or any other, until we have mail again, since this seems to be the only way to get this company's attention. read more

Sure no one likes their hoa. The problem is I've lived in this neighborhood for close to 2 decades and alerted the numerous account manager to various concerns only for them all to be ignored one house has now turned into multiple. PSProp expects for you to do their job. Apparently they only drive around the neighnorhood wasting gas. Honestly not sure what benefit they provide. Run.​ read more

Any good review is someone on the board in their neighborhood. This isn't a company it's a parasite. As their customer they never had my info but surely were happy to incur interest and fees. We signed up online and got messages that they'd reach out to us, they never did. I paid in full as soon as I heard about it. I will be doing everything I can to remove this parasite. read more

I am a home owner in one of the properties managed by this company. Called regarding a concern today and the lady who answered the phone was rude! Continuously talked loud and over me. PS manages my neighborhood. I've dealt with Ruben Salinas, our manager, several times. He seems like he cares about our neighborhood and is not rude like the manager from our last HOA company. He walked me through how to register for our neighborhood portal and get set up on autopay, helped waive some incorrect late fees that our old company refused to delete, and just seems really helpful overall. read more

I have worked various times with PS properties. they are always super quick and get things done with kindness

P.S. Property management has the worst service and managers I've ever met. They have allowed a leaking laundry room foundation crack to go for years and damage our families unit with constant water intrusion and mold. They constantly lie and refuse to do proper repairs. They use shady cheap repair people. They have sine nothing to fix the common area problem but pour Flex seal in a massive foundation crack. They don't return service calls and even blocked my niece who is trying to get them to repair the common area as mandated by law. In particular John Netter has fine the worst job and been unresponsive, rude and hostile. Their negligence has resulted in The Travis Heights Terrace condos to be under violation with Austin city code department. They have not responded to the city in over 30 days, this is the 3rd violations report filed against them for the same leaking common area that is ruining our adjacent unit. Our HOA here at The Terrace is also negligent, I don't recommend buying or leasing from any of these liars. Our entire community is now in danger of losing our certificate of occupancy due to their lack of repairs or even a response. PS can help you get your home full of mold and possibly condemned as well! read more

I live off of SW Pkwy in a 191 home neighborhood. I've served on my HOA for the last 4 years. For 3 of those years we were with RealManage and were never happy. Poor vendor supervision, constant manager turnover, slow response times. You name it, and we were unhappy with it. About a year ago, we switched to PS. After seeing the stark contrast between the old hands off approach and the new approach of PS, we will probably be with them for a long time. The manager TeeJay is proactive, noticing water usage and billing variations before our Board does; he is always a phone call away. Our homeowners, even the constant complainers, have remarked about how much better the service is with PS. It's obvious he takes his career seriously. Without rambling any further, suffice it to say that I am completely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone who isn't happy with their HOA company. read more

I called today with questions about my condo. I was 90% happy. There were problems: first, I did not have direct access to the person I wanted to speak to, and they could not give me his phone number. Secondly, I had sent over four messages to them online, and they answered non of my notes. They just said sorry. I liked Jose; with who I spoke, he seemed interested and tried to be helpful. At one time, I spoke to John Netter, who was accommodating. I hope my issues are resolved, and I will give them a 5-star! I will catch up later and let you know if they were effective! Until then, I will rate them high, hope they are as good as as I am hearing from john Netter. Happy trails! read more

My HOA is in the midst of firing our current HOA management company for getting kickbacks, for lying about finances, refusing to give us access to our bank statements so we could investigate, just general shadiness... We began interviewing replacement management companies, and PS management was referred to us. After the interview, we were completely blown away by both Ricky and Teejay's professionalism and thorough knowledge of the inner workings of the HOA industry. They showed us their user-friendly portal, explained why they performed accounting the way they did (to maximize transparency), and gave us a rundown of how the way they run their business makes them different. We were very impressed with PS and look forward to working with them very soon once we fire our old management company. read more

These guys are doing things completely differently. For the last 7 years, my HOA was managed by a big nationwide HOA company. Even though I was a director and had a direct number to the manager, she never answered. Our financials were always incorrect, our residents were constantly upset about ignored calls and unfinished maintenance items. Vendors had to wait 45-60 days for their accounting department to pay invoices. The relationship just wasn't a good fit. Fast forward to our time with PS management. Our manager TeeJay answers all of our calls, or returns calls in less than an hour if he misses our call. They stay on top of maintenance issues, even noticing items during their inspections before we notice them. I feel they're proactive. Their accounting department pays our bills the same day in most cases. We've just been really happy with PS for the 6 months they've been on our account. Highly recommend PS, they've been great. read more

Terrible. Have been trying to get ahold of Stephanie regarding a squatter living in a storage unit in our condominium's garage every day for an entire week. Not even sure if she is a real person at this point. The people that answer the phone are polite, however every time they "relay" the message back absolutely nothing gets done. There are also multiple spots on the property with disturbing graffiti. We pay good money to live in this part of the city, and are met with consistent ignorance and unprofessionalism. This situation is a danger to residents, remains an extreme biohazard, and leads to unsettling property damage. Wish I could give zero stars. I wish I could give this company 0 stars. There has been a squatter living in my storage unit and I can not get ahold of anyone willing to do something for the life of me. I have left countless emails, none of which have gotten a response, along with calling 1-2 times per day for the last week. The manager Stephanie is never in office, no matter the time of day. The assistants only offer to leave messages or let her know to call, which never seems to happen. If you want a helpful, responsive HOA to manage your property and ensure the safety of residents this is NOT the one. read more

We live in Elm Creek Subdivision off 290 in Elgin - this is our second HOA Management Company in the 10 years we have lived there. They are just slightly better than the other company- and the other company was terrible. Recently nasty graffiti was sprayed on two of our entrance signs to the subdivision and it's been weeks without any attempt at removing it. One of the residents took his wire brush and removed most of it. A property management company of this size should have maintenance staff that could repair this incident and several of the other things that have broken. They are quick to fine you for a trash can in view but very slow to react to things that need attention. The good news is they can be replaced with another company. read more

PS Property managed our business condo on Shoal Creek Blvd. Ricky is our primary contact; other than taking our dues.. They are good for nothing... repair never address, and they don't even return call or email. They want you to submit online repair request via their web site, but they NEVER response nor take care of anything. We have 4 common bathroom in the building that supposed to have daily janitorial service.. the man's bathroom has been out of toilet paper for days now and PS Property still won't look at the ticket nor response to this issue. read more

I live in a neighborhood of 374 homes in South Austin. We fired our last management company and have been with PS for about nine months now. Being on the HOA board, I was able to see the night and day difference between PS and the huge Nationwide company we were with. Our rep Ruben is much more responsive and proactive than our former manager. He worked with Texas Disposal Systems to negotiate a better rate for our garbage pickup, saving each homeowner about $11/month. The constant FB group complaints about the management company have completely disappeared since we got PS on the job. If anyone has questions, please feel free to message me. I am on the board of directors of our South Austin condo community, and cannot say enough about how great PS Property Management Company has been. Our property is older with several serious maintenance issues. Their experienced team including Teejay have resolved almost all of our maintenance issues in just over 6 months. We are now organized, understand what we are doing, and enjoy some great transparency with their informative online report system. They've done a wonderful job with our maintenance and taking care of previous neglected issues ignored by the previous management company. read more
