He would blow leaves into a corner of our yard and take away once a season, usually sometime last part of December. Garys lack of understanding of irrigation system design caused even more problems. Company would not live up to it's contract, often times expecting us to "help" with his duties. Always shows up (sometimes driving by our house multiple times a day) but has a lack of work ethic with lots of excuses. You are better off hiring a neighbor kid who wants to make an effort and would appreciate the pay.

Sent a quote request for a yard cleanup and bi-weekly upkeep to a few different own care companies, and they were the fastest to reply. They came out the next day, gave me a great price, and we scheduled the cleanup. They were late the first day they came, but we understood that things happen and didn't mind too much. I would describe the service they provided as "fine." They didn't do everything they needed to do, and when I asked them about the stuff that still needed to be taken care of, they said they'd come back to to finish it. That didn't happen - they just came back to provide the regular maintenance. They came a few more times, but each time it seemed they forgot something (no weed pulling, no trimming of the bushes, leaving bramble behind, etc). I really got the sense that they didn't care about providing the service; that was confirmed when they stopped showing up. We never had a conversation about it...they just completely ghosted us. I tried reaching out to them, but it was radio silence. Something else that made me incredibly uncomfortable is that they don't offer invoices. They just want payment through Venmo. As other people have said, this business can be unprofessional. My advice would be to pay a bit more somewhere else for more reliable service and communication.

Changes were needed and change orders were always clear and presented that same day for us to sign. Costs on bid and invoices were clear. Solid communication from all members of the team. The final punch list was dealt with quickly. The team was creative as we needed to solve some issues with drainage and access. Had them add sod at the end and that project was done quickly too. They worked in variable weather (rain and sun), were on-time both days, kept us informed throughout the project, worked around our existing outdoor furniture, ensured our existing sprinkler system stayed intact, and cleaned up after they were done. They were respectful, nice, and very professional. Our french drain, dry well, and river rock installation looks fabulous. It was well worth the money. From the first meeting, I told them I was looking for a contemporary/modern style. I provided the designer with a multi-page PDF of inspiration images and links to examples of landscape designers I liked (that don't live here). Long story short, they couldn't deliver a contemporary/modern landscape design. But, instead of owning that at the beginning of the process, they let me know after two disappointing design rounds and a $700 deposit down the drain that they "believe that your desired design aesthetic is outside the scope of our expertise". They had all the information to make that determination early-on but took on the project anyway. The only saving grace and reason they aren't getting one star is Theresa. She's a hoot and I loved talking to her. I think she did her best and made every effort to save the project when she saw it wasn't working. Now, I've had to start over at square one 6 months later--when I hoped I would have had my landscaping installed and ready to enjoy by fall. Super disappointing experience that could have been completely avoided from the get-go.
