DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF LETTING THEM TOUCH YOUR TRUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had my truck repaired (injectors,Pump, and lines replaced) here and these people didn't even fix it by the time I got my truck back it had the same issues it had prior to taking it to them plus now it was leaking oil! so after them getting a check for 12,000 dollars from my insurance company I still had to go in and fix every thing they touch there was fuel leaks on every fuel line fitting they touched plus 500 dollar worth of damage that they did! Following the fuel leaks lead me to take off the valve cover and they had broke almost ever bolt on my valve cover spacer! These people aren't mechanics don't let them fool you!!!!!!!! read more

Ever feel like a mechanic is taking advantage of you? UGH, I HAVE SO BEEN THERE...... You go in for a repair, and then a few weeks later have to return for another repair in the same area with all new labor fees? Addressing one problem leads to addressing many, but your vehicle still never seems to be running right? Not only do you spend a ton of money with your mechanic, they then refer you out to places that are going to also take your money for ineffective or unnecessary services? THAT'S WHERE I HAD BEEN..... BUT THEN CAME PSP When I first came across PSP I was calling around and asking what I THOUGHT were the right questions. Didn't matter how many times I called, I still received thorough and patient answers. I was comparing things like labor rates, the time being taken to explain things to me and just a general overall - who seems like they care? Art, Steven and Richard were AMAZING. I VERY recently purchased a used diesel that ended up having more problems than expected and after having been jerked around at the previous shop I was using.... I was at the end of my rope. But, the day I took my vehicle to PSP I instantly felt better. It wasn't just one thing, I think it was a combination of things, but here are a few things that give you the idea of the type of customer service that just comes standard with these guys.... HOW PSP SAVED ME $75 AND THEN ANOTHER $800 ON MY FIRST VISIT My truck was purchased with a pretty intense oil leak. The guy at the previous mechanic shop had been asking me to take it to his friend and pay close to $75 to have the engine detailed to make it easier to identify the oil leak. When I told Art this??? He smiled knowingly and took two dollars out of the register and said, "Let's go, hop in your truck". Art, one of the owners of this shop took time away from his day to drive with me down to a quarter car wash and show me how to clean off my engine MYSELF! At the grand cost of $2 he chipped in himself. If that doesn't CLEARLY show their interests in helping and serving rather than gouging, I don't know what does! Turns out, my oil leak isn't the $1200 repair the other guy said I needed.... It's a $400 repair. Imagine my relief! Those guys at PSP are lucky I didn't girl out and tear up and start bawling as I was thanking them! HOW PSP SHOWED THEY CARED ABOUT MY WELL-BEING.... ABOUT ME! After my first repair, to no fault of PSP (instead a new problem that reared its ugly head) I ended up stranded out in Nowheresville, TX. Like, it was me and two cows. I messaged the guys and they not only answered questions to help me get back on the road and get to where I could bring my truck into the shop, THEY ALSO MESSAGED LATER JUST TO MAKE SURE I MADE IT HOME OK!!!! I was beside myself, that's what friends do! Not mechanics who are just looking to make a buck off you. They really, truly care that not just your truck, but that YOU are ok! PSP JUST SAVED ME EVEN MORE ON REPAIRS My most recent repair???? It came in almost $200 under what they originally quoted me. Yeah, I said UNDER! And my truck is running like a boss now! It still needs some work here and there to get it back to the shape it should be in, but the guys have helped me form a plan of what to have fixed when to keep the labor rates way down and to maximize my repairs. I really, really, really can't say enough about this shop! It's not about the bottom line cost of the repair you need right then..... I wish I had known that when I was originally comparing mechanics! It's about the ones who do business the right way, make you feel valuable and then on top of it all save you money by doing the repairs the right way, and the most thorough way! I just moved here from Los Angeles, had a problem with my 2005 F250 turbo power stroke. Didn't know anybody here who was well knowledged with power strokes I eventually found PSP over the phone they were very well knowledge in their profession. had my truck there within one day I had a quote I went ahead with repairs and when I picked it up on Saturday-which I found out they weren't open!!!! but the garage, doors we're open and somebody was working, I found out it was the owner and he was covered in grease. Man that was a great site to see there's something to say about a business when the owner is willing to get greasy himself and he loves what does. These guys have to be the best mechanic shop I've ever had dealings with. I let them know I was in a desperate situation as my truck had taken a dump with no codes showing and I was needing to be on the road within the week. Initially I had thought I had a fuel pressure problem on my Duramax being that I hadn't had a lift pump installed but did have the delete done to it. These guys could have EASILY made money off of me by selling me the lift pump/ new fuel pump and labor. Happened to be when they ran a diagnostic they found a leaf had covered the MAF sensor. They pulled it, cleaned out the leaf, reinstalled and it was right back to normal. I was able to get back in my truck the next day at minimal cost. On top of that, the day I had dropped it off, the owner, Art, took time out of his day to give me a ride to Enterprise so I could get back to work the same day. These guys are the real deal and they run a shop like it should be ran. I live out of state but I can guarantee I'll take my truck the 5-6 hours back to Houston to have any work done to it. Parker raycor bypass total filtration system to keep the oil as clean as possible and save money between oil changes. The new aluminum oil pan with the added fins & tube ducting to help keep the oil cooler is a must have for any 6.0 owner or fleet of 6.0. Also the aluminum degas tank is a added bonus, No more replacing the stock one ever again. Money well spent. As a contractor living on the west coast heat is a big issue for our fleet. The products that PSP has designed for the 6.0 powerstroke has made our service department and owner very happy with the test results in keeping these trucks running cooler.
