I went to this place on 3/4/23. I paid with my FSA card and when I asked for an itemized receipt the receptionist was confused and questioned why I needed it. I told her why and she was like "many people have your insurance and paid the same way, and never asked for that before". I told them I need a receipt to justify my payment. The women seemed flustered and asked her colleagues what to do and then after them talking amongst each other for 5 mins. She said they are a bit mess right now and do not know how to do what you are asking. The person that does is not in today. They asked me to write my name email and number down and they will get back to me on Monday. I called on them multiple times and even exchanged texts with someone that worked there via text message (I'm assuming their personal number?) so I got tired of them giving me the go around and I'm now just waiting for my EOB for that day. It's now more than a month since having the service and they haven't billed my claim yet to my insurance. This is ridiculous! The new management is terrible and their website isn't even up anymore. Talk about a one-stop shop! After some traveling, and general neglect for stretching and and taking care of my body, I knew it was time to get treatment. I came to see Dr. Wang for a chiropractic adjustment since my back and neck was wrecked from sleeping wrong on the plane. He started with some light stretches and the hypervolt to loosen up my entire back and neck. Then came the adjustment. He talked me through each position, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. We got to talking about cupping, as I've seen it on TV, was curious and decided to give it a try! The acupuncturist came in for this treatment. She was able to answer my initial questions, and she got to cupping away. If you have never done it, it's not that bad! The glass cups suction is strong but not painful. Since it was my first time, we did two 5-min intervals. The difference was noticeable almost right away. The tension was sucked away, and I went from tight to feeling just right! Definitely will be back for both treatments! This office is really nice, amazing staff, and the office is full of snacks and drinks! Bonus love for having a bidet toilet! Once you go bidet, a normal toilet will never feel the same! Personally, I don't care for over the counter meds for pain and am always looking for new alternatives. If you are looking for alternatives medicine to heal the body, definitely recommend checking the office out. read more

I've been here at least 3 times and the first time I came boy was I impressed. They take my current insurance so that's a plus! I get a 90 mins massage with acupuncture. The down side is that the parking lot can get crowded and then you'll have to park on the street. The location is on the second floor. Very clean atmosphere and very welcoming. It's a big place, and upon arrival there's two gender neutral bathrooms and they are always kept clean along with lotions, soaps and q-tips and a pulse? Bidet toilets! The front desk people are very helpful and welcoming. When it's your first time you get a welcome bag. Mine came with a small reusable bag, calendar, metal spoon along with meta chop sticks, snacks, hand towel and some gloves. My husband when it was his first time it was almost the same, but his also included nail clippers. After checking in you meet one on one with a doctor and you fill out paperwork. You state you condition and they let you know what could possible help your problem areas. She said that my 90 min massage along with acupuncture would help my pregnancy carpel tunnel which has been very painful. The first time I had my massage was from Kelly and she was perfect! The rooms inside are nice, they either have single rooms or rooms where you can have a couple massage. They have nice relaxing music playing in the background, dim lighting, comfy beds, light heater, robes (i have not used it yet, maybe it could be used when one has to run to the restroom quickly?) my massage was just what I needed along with my acupuncture. It was my first time and it didn't hurt. After the massage was over they bring you to the snack section where they have a huge variety of snacks, drinks which include tea and coffee and other Asian drinks, yogurt, water and ice cream! I'm in heaven with all the small touches this place has! And I forgot to mention it's all complementary!! You def need to make an appointment before arrival. Every time I'm done with my appointment I make a new one. I've had Kelly 2x so far and that's my go to lady, she knows the amount of pressure i can handle, what needs attention and knows how to do pregnancy massages. As for when I get acupuncture all the acupuncture's have been good too. I've been able to sleep 2 days in a row straight which has been very rare this pregnancy. I am updating my review, I have to give them a 1 star because the last time I went the lady didn't time my massage and of course we don't have a timer to see how long we have. I went in to get a FULL body massage however in the front I specifically told them I want shoulder and hip massage. In the room I also told her however she spent the whole hour on my shoulder. I even had to tell her to please stop because I was in pain, however I didn't realize that she was taking a whole 30min on each shoulder. Once the hour was done, she said all done. I told her oh I didn't realize it was 1 hour already you haven't done my hip yet. She then said I need to go to my other customer. I told her well I am paying for shoulder and hip too. She told me she could do quick 5 min. I said ok. Days later my hip was burning come to realize I had a big cut from her doing it so fast and now I have a HORRIBLE SCAR!!!! I have been looking for a great acupuncture / acupressure professionals. The one I went to for more than a year, was great but she moved out of town. I found this one on yelp and stopped to check it out asked to get a consultation with the acupuncturist, which I did. The receptionist asked for my insurance card and checked my benefits! She said you have already met your deductible and your co pay will be $25 and you'll have 20 acupuncture session per year that also includes an hour of complementary massage. That was great since massage was the most important part of my treatment. I made an appointment for the next day! I go there and pay my co pay. They send me to meet the acupuncturist. We go over my condition and needs, fill out the forms. She tells me we'll start with massage and then acupuncture. I go to the massage room, get ready, the masseuse comes in and starts for 2 minutes! There is a knock on the door and a lady says can I come in? She says to me while I am laying down to get a massage, that she is very sorry but my insurance only covers the acupuncture and not the massage, so we need to stop the massage and send the acupuncturist in! She said but since it is our fault, you can get a few minutes massage! She goes out and a minute later, "the doctor" comes in and says what is going on? I explain and she says no, you can choose to either get a massage each week or acupuncture! I said ok, I do massage today! She leaves the room! Literally, a minute later the door opens and the manager comes and tells the masseuse, to finish in 5 minutes! At this points I got up and told the masseuse that I have had it with this mismanagement, poor patient care, and terrible customer service! I told the manager how disappointed I was with them specially since what they told me yesterday was completely contradictory with what she was saying today! 0 patient/client care, 0 customer service! I absolutely do not recommend this place! So thankful I found out on my first visit, how unprofessional they are! read more

Love this place! If you are looking for a massage and a good one this is the place to go to, I have neck pain and they always focus on it and help me release the pressure in that zone. The massages help u unwind that u will fall asleep, I have gone with my sister many times and she always claims I'm snoring lol For the price it is worth it . I have never had acupuncture before so to say I was a little anxious is an understatement. I was very pleased with my service today! They were very professional. I was in the room and I received a massage, the masseuse is Vivian and she did an amazing job on my back. I've had knots and tenseness in my shoulders and neck, she really worked those areas and I can happily say that I don't ache as much as before! A lot of improvement! I did have to remove my clothes for the massage and Vivian was very professional. The doc came in about maybe 10 mins before the appt was over and placed the acupuncture needles, she checked my comfort level throughout the process. Happy with my service today :) read more

Been there for about five times now. Today I was laying there and waiting for the masseuse until 20 mins pass the starting time, but the massage finished in 45 mins. In general the experience here is not good over the last few times I was here. There was one particular masseuse was super chatty all the time (and for some reason was assigned to me three times) and always brought up some really controversial political topics, and asked for where I stand! I don't want to get grilled when I was supposed to relax and enjoy my time. Didn't give a one star because there are also a few staff members I consider very professional at what they do. I wish there could be many more in this place. read more

The acupunturist is friendly, proffesional and good. The massage is not good believe me I have massage every week. I know how you should feel after a good massage. I had about more then 10 visits before I wrote this review.I was in pain and walk with more pain due to massage therapist did not get a report from the doctor before she proceed. I felt stressed after massage and hurried. The owner is pushy for tips. The enviroment look cheap and none professional. Even I have unlimited and free acupunture treatment ,I refused to come back. The table/sheets stink. The only great think is not the free towel but warm toilet seat in restroom. I am paying $20 tip for a good massage but you will not recieve it in this place so save your money and make your own research. read more

Great acupuncture clinic. It's got more like a spa atmosphere. The door opens automatically when you go in and out. Kate did my acupressure massage and it helped work out a lot of knots in my shoulder/back area. The acupuncture doctors are nice and efficient. Wish I got to check out the snack bar more. The owner is nice and cares about your experience. They give you a bag with lots of nice gifts such as a towel, waterproof phone holder and ceramic mug during your first visit. 1 hour massage for $99 before tip. I came here with a friend and was honestly in awe by literally everything. The heated toilet seats, the crazy amount of snacks they offer at the front desk, and just how it's set up. Such an interesting experience. I was expecting private rooms, but because I booked with my friend, they actually put us in the same room like we were getting a couples' massage. I usually prefer male masseurs, but it's all women here. It wasn't bad though.. I like deep tissue and the lady I had was strong and I was pretty sore after. I wanted to schedule another massage recently, but whoever received my call was rude and cut me off, so I decided to not book an appointment. The new owner has failed to honor my remaining package sessions. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue with them, they have shown no willingness to accommodate. I went for an acupuncture+massage after some sharp pain in my upper back. They were able to accommodate me the same day, which I appreciated. The massage was good, however the biggest frustration from start to finish was the lack of communication. I was seated in front of the acupuncturist for an evaluation however the questions were more vague than I expected - I had hoped there would be more details covered to ensure I got a more specific treatment for today and hopefully for future appointments. I am not sure if the acupuncturist communicated with the masseuse about my concerns, and the masseuse also did not go too in depth about my pain with me - therefore causing me some more pain while massaging my upper back. Since this was my first acupuncture appointment, I hoped to get some education and explanation what was being done and why the needles were placed at a specific point or what to expect. I did not receive any explanation, only to be asked after all 10 needles were placed if I would like them in for 15 or 20 minutes. I do not know whether I will be back at this location, because I believe communication and education is an important part of the treatment - especially to someone new to acupuncture. read more

This place is still just as amazing as the first time I came. My husband and I come to PSW as our date night and afterwards we eat some good food. As new parents our backs really hurt but we always leave here feeling way better. We love the staff. They are amazing at what they do and friendly. Been trying out acupuncture here for the past month, but last weekend convinced me to stop. Aside from the inconsistent service, concerning the quality of massage, I've been forgotten about in the room twice. The first time was about a half-hour when I was left facing down on the table, waiting for the staff to come back. The service didn't technically start so I gave the problem a pass. The second time I was forgotten, they had placed needles on my neck & shoulder and left me alone for over an hour (it's supposed to take 15 minutes). After realizing the clinician wasn't coming back, I went from speaking out loud, to yelling, and smashing the red light against the wall with my free arm, towards anybody who can hear me. I eventually had to try and get up, with the needles sinking deeper in my shoulder and neck, in order to grab my phone and call the front desk. Trying to convince them that I was calling from a room, I finally got somebody to help get the needles out. It was a borderline horror story. Have been there for massage, cupping & accupuncture. All great! Feel very safe there. Very clean! Wish our insurance hadn't changed. Fractured my knee, crutches made my shoulders worse. Great place and staff. Also very accommodating with appointments even when I call to schedule 2 days before. However the last time my husband and I went in for a massage, the 2 masseuse were chatting a bit. It did bother me a bit since all I want to hear is just the music playing as it makes it more relaxing. Also we do prefer the lights to be dimmed to set the relaxing mood as well, every time we come in they always have the lights on. So next time we'll just tell them to dim them a bit. I don't know about the quality of their acupuncture but their customer service is terrible. I called and asked if they have a refund policy for people who don't use all the sessions in the package and they said yes. I drove down there, a half an hour drive mind you, and they took me directly to the "doctor". I'm glad I asked again about their refund policy before starting. After going back and forth, they told me they don't have a refund policy! They need to hire a receptionist with better communication skills and don't waste patient's time. read more

This review is for the massage I received today... I called in this morning to see if I could get an appt for the afternoon & they had openings! I asked the receptionist if I could please have someone with strong hands/arms & they certainly delivered. A lady named Cindy worked on me for 60 min. No specific massage style was ever discussed which I thought was strange but whatever, I went with it. Here's what happened: - Was told which room to go into (it had 2 massage tables) but wasn't told how much I should undress & which table to get on so I had to go out & ask. -Three min. later, Cindy walked in. She didn't introduce herself but just asked if I was ready. When I told her how hot I was under the towel they told me to use and she laughed. I realized she didn't understand very much English. I kept telling her I was very hot (it was 85 outside & they had a heat lamp beaming onto the table so I started sweating immediately). -Without communicating to me, she started to massage me with the towel over me. I had no idea if that was how the entire hour would be OR if she would strip the towel and use oils on me, so I was a little frustrated but didn't say anything. I told her again I was hot & fanned myself with the towel. She finally realized what I was saying and grabbed a light sheet for me to use instead of the towel. We were good. -I finally asked after about 5 minutes if she was going to use any oil on me. She didn't understand, so I told her that if this was how the massage was going to be done, then I'd only be up for 30 min. Again, she didn't understand. I figured I'd keep going with the massage for a bit longer. -Finally she stripped off part of the sheet and I could hear her rub oil between her hands. I relaxed & let her do her thing. Cindy had very strong hands & upper body. She worked out my kinks over & over. The only reason I took off a star was the lack of communication. I knew I was getting a massage but that's it lol. So I literally felt like I got 2 or 3 massage styles in 1. She did regular long strokes, used hot stones (which were quite a shock on my bare skin because they were pretty darn hot & I didn't know it was coming) and she also massaged my face. I don't like people touching my face but knew if I tried to communicate with her it wouldn't help so I stayed quiet. All in all, the massage was really good. Now that I know her style, I know to tell the receptionist next time for her to not do my face & to please use a sheet on me so I don't roast! read more

I was very excited to come to PSW for my first professional massage and acupuncture as I have heard good things about their services and they take my insurance. I have chronic migraines and back pain and wanted so badly to get some relief. However, my experience was not relieving, it was not relaxing, it was not enjoyable. It was more so a traumatic nightmare experience. The people that run the clinic are very nice and give you a welcome bag which I appreciate, but it did not make up for the pain I endured. I guess they had decided on giving me a deep tissue massage. This was not communicated to me. I have zero experiences with massage and I thought there would be some guidance. The massage tech started immediately digging into my super hard. She was leaning on me with all her weight. I was wincing in pain the whole time and she never asked me if I was comfortable with what she was doing. There was a bit of a language barrier and I was nervous. I thought, they are the experts, just let them do their thing, maybe it will help. An actual thought that went through my head during massage - "Is she going to lacerate my kidney??" This was beyond a deep tissue, it was dangerous. That night I woke up in the middle of the night with very significant pain in my back. I couldnt even breathe in without crying out in pain, felt like something was broken. I went to urgent care and they listed me as "blunt force trauma" and they did xray. I thankfully did not have a broken bone, but the doctor said I likey had a bruised rib which can be just as painful. I had multiple bruises on my body. I actually have a high pain tollerance but this was not ok and not right. I feel I have to write this review to warn people to please ask and make sure they are not hurting you. I had to miss work to stay home and heal and I cried the whole time not understanding how a simple massage which was supposed to help me turned into this horrific experience.
