Unprofessional scheduling I booked the night before for the couple's room for 6PM the next day. In the morning they moved my time slot to 6:15PM (I was notified via text message from the booking website). Then it was moved back to 6PM (again notified through the booking website). Later in the day around 1PM they called asking us to move to 5:45PM. I was accommodating because I understood that I booked at short notice. Then 1 hour before the appointment at 4:50PM they told me that the couple's room is unavailable and we would have to get separate rooms. This has been my go-to massage place for the last 3-4 years and I have enjoyed every single massage I have gotten here. I originally found this place through Yelp (of course) and since it was local to where I was living, I decided to give it a try. It was fantastic and I keep going back! Over the years, I have gotten massages from several of the masseuses here and have enjoyed them all. I always come out relaxed and sleepy afterwards... The soft music, dim lights and great pressure from the masseuse all work together to put me into a calm, serene state. I often find myself drifting and letting go of all my thoughts. I usually go for the swedish massage with aroma therapy, but have tried the Thai and combo massages as well. All are great and you can't go wrong - it just depends on what you're looking for. I've probably had at least a hundred deep tissue thai massages by now (my body hurts okay) and Lucky, by far, has the most unique and thorough techniques I've experienced. She massaged parts of my body that I never even knew were tight but the tension she released was unimaginable. Had an amazing experience with Lek and the Thai Aromatherapy Massage. At the price point it is a bit of a splurge, but the techniques used are amazing and very traditional/consistent. Appreciate the attention to detail, the aesthetics of the rooms, and the little form they have you fill out at the start of each session so the masseuse knows where to concentrate on. Came by for a traditional Thai massage the other day and it was a decent experience. Made an appointment online and my therapist was available upon arrival. Parking is available in the back of the medical plaza or on the street. The interior of the massage parlor is cozy, just like in Thailand. There are slippers to wear upon entering. The hardwood floors are beautiful in the lobby waiting area. There are a few massage parlor rooms, including a couples room. The receptionist offers shorts to wear during the session. The quality of massage depends on the therapist. During my most recent visit, requested a super strong massage and received a medium massage. The therapist hit different pressure points and also did some stretching which was comfortable. There is a small restroom towards the back of the massage parlor. $85/hr + gratuity for a 1 hour Thai massage. They do offer packages for $75/hour cash when purchasing 6 hours. read more

4.5 stars. I've been looking for a spot to get a massage since the main gal I go to is slowly phasing out of doing them. Massages are so subjective and I had to do my research. Also, like everyone else I'm picky so I went in knowing that I probably wasn't going to find a total match right away. That was to be expected. It would be just like going to a hair dresser for the first time if you're trying to find someone new. You'll have to try out a few before you find someone and say they're "the one." Because of the all the 5 star reviews, I went with this place in hopes that I might find someone to replace the gal I've gone to for years. I also saw that they offer Swedish massage which is my preference since I like a lighter type of pressure. (I can't do super hard pressure because I'm too sensitive and it ends up being too painful for me.) I also know that I get super ticklish so the therapist has to know exactly the right amount of touch so that I'm not laughing myself off the table or tensing up flinching because all I'm doing is trying to hold my breaths so I don't give in and laugh. I'm so extra it's annoying. I ended up booking online and it was $125 for 90 minutes. They text me with confirmation and I was ready to go. I chose Penny since I saw her name in a few reviews. I walked in and had no expectations- hoped for the best. I was told to fill out a little questionnaire for where I wanted Penny to focus on. Once I was done, I was led to a backroom and told to undress. Penny walked in right on time and I was ready to go. Here are the good things about her: She's really consistent with her kneading. She was able to do both sides of my body with equal amounts of force on my back and arms. Penny is really powerful for a small petite Thai woman. She was great overall until she got to my legs where I started to get ticklish. I didn't tell her at first until the very end when I couldn't handle it anymore and she could feel my legs start to flex and I started giggling. Do you see what I mean? Annoying. It wasn't her fault though. She was just doing her job. I still don't know how my main gal knows *exactly* the right pressure to apply so I don't laugh but she just does. And that's why I had to take one star off-- only because it was great but still not the best. I'll still be on the search for someone to go to but don't hesitate to come here. After getting a very disappointing massage a while back at another well-rated location, I was very wary about where to get my next massage as they are quite pricey. After I saw so many good reviews for Pairin Thai Massage, I finally decided to give it a try since I really needed a massage for my shoulders and back from working all day. Pairin Thai Massage is in a small strip of shops and there's a parking lot in the back. It can get pretty full on Saturdays, but when I visited on a Sunday afternoon, it was very empty. Some reviews have said the area is sketch, but it didn't feel that way to me at all. The outside is very basic, but inside is nicely decorated with traditional Thai themes and super calming. I booked an hour long deep tissue massage with Tina and it was amazing! She focused a lot on my upper back and neck as I requested. I enjoy super strong massages and don't mind feeling sore. Tina's strength was perfect and she checked in regularly. She found so many tight muscles and knots I didn't even realize were there. For deep tissue massages, you get to choose from a variety of scents for the oil. Your massage therapist will wipe you down afterwards so don't worry about the oil getting on your clothes. You can buy a 6 time massage package for $450 cash and you can even apply that to your massage if you're visiting for the first time. I decided to go with this package and my second deep tissue massage with Tina was even better than the first. I'll 100% be back to try out the other types of massages that are offered! Btw, this package can be shared. If you're booking for someone else, just book through your regular account but make a note that it's for another person. I've come to Pairin many times over the course of a few years with a few different therapists, and I have always had a great experience at Pairin. My current favorite therapist who I've gone to the last few times is Tikky. I get the Thai Aroma Massage - a mix of a little Thai massage and a little Swedish massage. Be prepared to be walked on, kneaded, stretched in all directions, and feel sore the next day. It is bliss. I had the opportunity to visit Pairin Thai Massage and had a pretty good experience. I made an appt online and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was and selected whichever masseuse was available. There is parking in the back but very limited. I ended up parking across the street at CVS. TBH it looked a bit sketchy so I was thinking of my car the entire time. My masseuse asked me if she could step on me and I said sure not really knowing what to expect. As soon as she did, I realized I did not like it lol. So if thats not for you, make sure you let them know! I had booked a deep tissue massage and let me tell you, she really dug into my knots and troubled area and it just hurt so good. My girl Pammy gets me right every time! I visit every few weeks so I'm over here trying to figure out how to put her in my monthly budget! I've had other masseuses, but she's just my favorite. I'm an introvert and she's not chatty at all, so perfect for me! I just come to relax. Her feet and toes are so strong. Like yes, please! Step on every part of my body if you want. And she does! Even my ass!!! Which is heavenly after a heavy leg day! The deep tissue massage is painful, so you probably won't be drifting off to sleep during it, but it is functional and well worth it in the end. Personally, this is my first professional massage EVER so I won't have much experience to compare to but what an enjoyable first time here. The receptionist checked us in and gave us the run down in deep details since it was both our first time at Pairin. Pairin provided services such as Traditional Thai massage, Aromatic Thai massage, deep tissue massage, and more. We both decided on the Traditional Thai and chose Medium for how intense we wanted the pressure points to be. Kathy and Jai were our therapists and both were super friendly and nice to us. Jai kept asking me if I was doing well with the pressure level and if I was okay. This is definitely not a normal massage and it's a little more intense than the regular shoulder massages I receive. However, I felt so light and loose at the end and I felt as if all the stress was taken away from me. I highlighted that I want to focus on my trapezius and shoulder muscles and Jai did just that. tl;dr - Reasonably priced, authentic Thai massages with a few varieties of massage in a small center. Didn't leave quite as relaxed as I'd hoped, but it still felt nice. I made a reservation over the phone without ease for the couples room. No issues with the reservation at all when we showed up, and the person at the front desk explained to us the different options in case we wanted to explore something other than what was specified over the phone. Free bottles of water in the reception/sitting and waiting area. I had the traditional Thai massage as I wanted the pressure-based and stretching experience over Swedish / Western massage therapies since I personally haven't had as good Swedish massage experiences. My boyfriend had the Thai Aroma massage, which involves the use of oils throughout the massage with a mix of Thai and Swedish massage therapy. I've had only one other traditional Thai massage before, but I didn't feel as "lightened" after this massage than I did the previous one. Maybe I was just that much tighter before at my old job, haha. I selected medium pressure on the pre-massage paperwork, but I still felt that Sandy's pressure was quite high on me. I am also a small person, which could have factored into it. I successfully breathed through the pressure, but in retrospect, I probably should have broken the silence and asked her to back off just a touch. I'm so happy my husband found this place. I was sceptical upon walking up because the building complex looks weird but Wow....I have had so many massages in my life. At high end hotel spas around the world, small places like this, at reflexology places that offer acupressure, been to RMT's too. Only once out of all those times did I find a masseuse that I personally loved and returned weekly. When I moved away I was so sad, it's been nearly 4 years since then and I have not had a good massage since until now. Everyone has a certain preference for what kind of massage they like - I like when the masseuse is skilled to find knots and coax them out along the length of the muscle...that's what my masseuse used to do for nearly the entire massage....my masseuse Nancy today did a good amount of that. She was soooo great. I'm so happy. She can also do really firm pressure. I hate massages that are so gentle and I ask for more pressure and it's still so gentle and I lay there frustrated for the remainder of the time wondering when the massage will actually start. We came for a couples massage and my husband had Sandy. He said he really enjoyed his massage as well. We were told Sandy is stronger than Nancy and my husband liked the pain lol. This place is amazing! I've had their Thai and Deep Tissue massage. The stretching was new to me but I'm sure it was helpful for my tight muscles. I'm gonna get the Swedish massage next after finals are over! When arriving, the parking lot isn't as obvious. To enter there is a very narrow space and it's hard to get out sometimes if the main road is busy. They might also get your appointment pushed back. I scheduled a chiropractor appointment almost immediately after but fortunately we went forward with my original time. They texted me and let me know ahead of time, which I appreciated. You can pay before or after but typically it's after. They also accept credit cards The space inside is small. Remove shoes when you enter, and there are slippers are available if you need them. They also offer water when you leave, which is super nice. Hydrating after a massage is key! At the beginning there is a paper you fill out and mark your problem areas/focus. And choose your essential oil scent as well. The walls are thin and generally it's very quiet but you can hear them in the next room over if someone is getting a massage. They have covid practices as well, such as putting on a mask when faced up. There is a basket provided for your belongings. I recommend everyone to try this place at least once! read more

You can also book through the website. Tal kept me informed of changes via calls/texts and gave me a decent amount of notice for any delays. The parking lot does feel a bit sketchy and the building gave me old-motel vibes. However, once you're inside, the ambience is tranquil and inviting. My masseuse was wonderful and the pressure was exactly what I was hoping for. I've left massages before feeling beat up or more tired than when I came in, and that definitely was not the case. I opted for the traditional Thai massage and was provided with a change of clothing (just like in Thailand!). Price is comparable at $80/person for an hour session. Overdue review and much deserved! I typically can't handle the elbow grease of a Thai massage but I decided to give this place a try because they offered a pregnancy massage. Also tried their Swedish massage and loved both. Let's get into the deets. Check in is always super smooth and quick. Tal is the owner and he typically checks everyone in and out. You need to take off your shoes and put on their house slippers. Then they give you a check-in form that lets you mark where you want your masseuse to focus on. Give yourself 10 minutes in advance to fill out this form and get situated so it doesn't eat into your time. The customer service is awesome and feels very personable. Tal always asks how the massage was and thanks everyone for coming. My pregnancy massage was with Sandy and she was phenomenal. She had me lay on my side while hugging a body pillow. Super relaxing but also good pressure where needed to relax my muscles. I had to ask for a slightly lighter strength but she adjusted perfectly. Also came for a Swedish massage with Jai and found this one also very relaxing. I chose to not lay on my stomach since it was soon after having a baby and she adjusted nicely. Particularly loved my hand and head massage (drool). The Swedish comes with an essential oil (they have a nice selection of scents) and I chose grapefruit (yum). I brought my dad here as well for a deep tissue massage and he said it was the best massage he's gotten in a long time. He has some seriously tight muscles and pain. I've spent a good bit of time chasing the best massage spot in the SJ area. I found Pairin Thai, through Yelp of course, and was able to set up an online appointment. The online booking is easy and you'll get choose your preferred massage style then your masseuse. Each masseuse has their own strength and I would highly recommend reading through the reviews and calling Pairin to find out how strong/firm the different therapists are. A good fail safe is to start with light pressure and work up from there. I ended up selecting a deep tissue massage because I do workout a bit and I figured that would be the best to help loosen things up. My main goal was to loosen things up and the secondary goal was to relax. I ended up with Natty as she had the only availability for the day I wanted. The owner shot me a text that Natty got a little held up and we shifted my appointment 15 minutes. They ask you to take off your outside shoes before you walk through. They do have sandals but you can also just rock your socks. You get to select a essential oil if you'd like, the standard oil is unscented. You also have to option for your therapist to use tiger balm. Once you get taken to your room you've got the option to remove outer layers of clothing down to your underwear. Some massages don't need you to remove your outer clothing. They also offer disposable underwear if that's something you would like. They used a hot towel prior to starting the massage on my arms, legs, hands and feet. I requested medium pressure for this massage. I can say this massage was better at loosening up my muscles and less relaxing. She spent good time focusing on the areas I specified and to be honest it was right on the edge of painful. The foot, hand and head massages were the most relaxing parts. I was interested in seeing if I had any next day soreness but there was none. I think the massage was effective at loosening up my muscles. I'd rate the deep tissue massage as more functional and less relaxing. Overall I had a good experience and I'm interested in checking out some of the other therapists and the other massage styles. My next goal is going to be finding the most relaxing massage at Pairin.
