All Dr. Garcia did was prescribe Lexapro and Ambien. Very little talk and very little help.

I cannot begin to convey how wise this counselor is! She challenged me and she expressed such empathy for me that I wanted to get well. I wanted to follow through and mature and grow and forgive. When you meet with Sandra, you always feel heard. She has the ability to make a strong connection and it makes all the difference when you're trusting your deepest thoughts and feelings to another. I'm so grateful for the referral I received and all the help that she was to me. It made every difference and months later I am still doing really, really well! Such sincere support and wisdom. As a result, they failed to nurture happy, successful marriages. I did not want to go down the same path. Sandra helped me sort out family issues that could have resulted in a very unhappy, frustrated, and unfulfilled life. I highly recommend Sandra. She is honest, sincere, trustworthy, compassionate and dedicated to helping her clients grow and enjoy good mental and emotional health. Sandra was instrumental in helping me heal and achieve joy and stability in my life. I never miss appointments, but still, I won't expose myself to a policy that pushes any risk that comes with having a business onto clients. I understand having a fee and a 24-hr general policy, but to inflict such a high rate onto clients even if a last minute illness or emergency arises is unreasonable and unethical. What do they want, people showing up sick to infect the therapist and every subsequent client that therapist sees? That is what is implied with such an inflexible policy and there is no other interpretation for it. Profit first, therapist well-being way lower on that scale, client well-being at the very bottom. I'm not sure where the actual service or "care" falls on that scale; I guess it doesn't seem to me to be present at all, not in the eyes of the business anyway.

But they still charged me $95, not even my copay rate of $35 because I didn't give them 24 hours notice, even though the day before was a Sunday and I have no clue how she was going to feel in the morning. They still refused to work with us and had zero sympathy for our situation. Absolutely horrible service. I will find a more compassionate and understanding situation for my daughter.
