I've been here twice now. Recently, for my newest job and once 15 years ago for a previous job. I had actually never gotten a hair test before when I came in 15 years ago and it was quite the shock to me, but the staff is really good about explaining what they are doing and being transparent about the procedure. Both my experiences here were good. I got called back immediately both times I was here. Sure, it isn't the most friendly, but it's professional. I also like that it's pretty quick and I didn't have to wait long either time. I also appreciate the shopping center they are in. It's easy to get to and there are a lot of parking spaces. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star I would! This lady Colleen was Extremely Unprofessional and rude. She sat me down and showed me some TINY clip which I thought were regular tweezers and said she needed 2 TINY samples. On my paperwork it stated :One Single Hair" test. What does that mean to you, the average lament person...ONE SINGLE hair, correct?! Ugh. All of a sudden I heard this large snip sound- it was scissors!! What?! I assumed and she acted like she was going to take two tiny individual stands of hair w the tweezer type clip. I looked and almost threw up! It was a HUGE CHUNK about 6 inches long! I freaked out bc I had already literally JUST told her that my hair does NOT grow! She said she needed one more chunk I said absolutely not!! NO JOB is worth taking that much hair out. I am probably the handful of people who has never even smoked weed let alone done meth or cocaine and I will NEVER go to this place ever again. I just told her I had been in a panic all week bc my hair was thinning due to covid and yet now I have a huge chunk missing. Are you kidding me?! I sat in my car crying bc I was so livid and frustrated that she lied to me. If she would have shown me on herself ok this is how much I am going to take-Twice, then I would have said nope no way and left. I cannot believe they are not honest w people-I dont know many women who just dont care that they are missing a huge 6+ inches of hair. I called a few hours later to ask to speak w a manager apparently she is one. Again she was VERY rude & completely non empathetic to my hair situation at all. She just told me "oh well its a matter of opinion" wow really. She is a manager? She was speaking over me -I said if you would please wait until I am finished speaking...Overall this place was an utter nightmare of an establishment. NO job is worth that unpleasant and nightmarish experience! Period. Do not go there- go to a diff company or get a diff test done unless you are fine with a huge chunk of your hair missing. I am NOT ok with it & I will be seeking advice from other higher ups trust me. She should NOT be working within the customer service industry period!! I guess I will have to wait 30 years and hope my hair grows back a few inches thanks to this lady. She was so dishonest and unprofessional- literally the worst combination you could ever have in customer service industry. These people do NOT mess around. I have been to this location a handful of times of the course of the past several years and it has always been a consistent experience. Consistently smooth. Consistently quick. Consistently friendly. You walk in and sign yourself into the facility. Within nanoseconds(or so it seems), you will be approached by a smiling employee who takes you to the back to take your sample. All hair drug tests here, no urine. Basically a quick snip snip, initial and sign here....and here....and here. That is it! After that you are sent on your way. Smooth, quick, and painless. Thanks to Psychemedics Corporation, I know what it feels like to have buzzed hair. What's really weird is I can't stop touching it! Psychemedics is a drug testing facility that does hair testing (Thank God because I hate doing pee tests). This was actually my first time getting my locks snipped for testing! I walked in and a smiling lady who was standing at a desk directed me to sign in, then immediately took me back to a cubicle. She explained she was going to take hair from the back of my head beneath the layers so the missing spots of hair wouldn't be visible. I have to admit, I was a little aghast at the amount of hair that was snipped from my head! They cut at the roots and take 2 samples. After the samples were taken, I was good to go! Extremely unhappy with my experience here. The lady working here (Maryluh I believe from my receipt) had absolutely no customer service and was in the worst mood extremely rude and short. I walked in to nobody at the desk, she comes out and just says "ok", and walks away expecting me to follow her. I ask her if she needs my ID and paperwork and she says "in the back" . After she proceeds to tell me. " Turn around, face the mirror." And that's it . I was extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. For a hair strand test all you really need is about 100-120 pieces of hair. She cut a patch about four inches long from my hair ALL THE WAY FROM THE BACK OF MY EAR ALMOST TO THE CENTER OF THE BACK OF MY HEAD. She was clearly in a bad mood and taking it out on whoever she could. I'm definitely contacting their corporate about my experience. read more

This review is exclusively for "Mary Lou" : I walked in, and there was nothing but a clipboard to greet me. As I have my back turned a person Mary Lou said to follow her. She spoke no words, and she was very impersonal. She didn't tell me what was going on, and I had to stop her and ask her beforehand. She had a negative attitude with no bedside manner whatsoever. If I were a potential employer, then I would choose a different lab. Rude service is the worst, especially when someone is doing something as personal as taking a bio sample from you. Fire Marilu! I understand that this is a hair testing place, however I have had 4 hair tests done at this location (and one other location) over the last several years and have NEVER experienced anything like this. I just got one today and I am almost in tears because of how much she butchered my hair. I had the pleasure of doing my test with a woman named Corrie who is supposed to be lead or something.. For the most part I was the one making the experience as pleasant as it possibility could be until I felt and saw how much she actually cut from my hair... I already suffer from thin, fine hair so I felt this one like a stab in the heart. I am so upset at the lack of empathy they have for their clients. It was utterly unnecessary to remove this much of my hair for a sample.... if you cherish your hair and don't want HUGE noticeable chunks missing, PLEASE speak up. No one should have to go through this. It is mean and unacceptable. I can't fucking WAIT for the day Las Vegas drops hair testing. Take my blood, take my urine, take my saliva. Leave my hair alone. Best place for a drug test! This is a hair test only facility, so make sure you have some hair to test. If you are bald like me, they can take a hair sample from your arm or leg. If you don't have hair in these areas, you may have to grow a beard like I did. If you do have hair, they will take about an inch or so from the back of your head. The technician who took my sample was very friendly and nice. They don't automatically assume that you are a drug user and give you the third degree like other places (ahem...LabCorp). Their Web site has a wealth of information if you are nervous about the drug test, but you really have nothing to be scared about. read more

On July 16, 2019, I came to this clinic for a drug test, for a new job. With this type of drug test, rather than taking a urine sample, they took hair follicles! Unfortunately, the person who assisted me, Meryluh, was very curt with me. I received no hello, no thank you, and no goodbye...which, in a way, is rude! Because I am bald headed, she had to take hair from my leg. She quickly rubbed a gel like substance on my leg, and then proceeded to shave my ENTIRE calf, front and back, like she was trying to set a land speed record!! She ended up cutting me on the back of my leg, which stung for the rest of the day. People who work in the service industry, need to have a good bed side manner! I can't imagine a drug testing place being any smoother than this. It's all hair drug testing as someone mentioned, so don't chug a lot of water beforehand like I did. I literally walked in, lady came out of the back, brought me in and cut a piece of my hair, I initialed a few things, and I walked out. Had to be like 2 minutes. My girlfriend had to take one at another drug testing place that did urine, and hers probably took like 10 minutes overall. I went to this place to get a drug test. But i was trying to find it but got mix up with across the street. The lady who answered the phone WAS SO VERY RUDE. Yelling at me over the phone! She answered using a curse word. Then when I went in there. She was rude again. She must have been in a bad mood! huffing and puffing about whatever her problem was! I think she also cut too much hair out of my head for a drug test. In 3 different areas. She was short, chubby, and had the most awful greasy hair that showed her roots and dirty Blondie! I don't know who she was. She deserves to be fired. I'm also gonna tell the company i work for that they need to change companies. Psychemedics screwed up and cut off way too much hair. Now I have to deal with my hair having a huge bald spot for the next few months. It seriously is making me so sad. I am forced to cut it all off to fix what they ruined. They also gave me a very hard time about my ID. They kept asking me for "Updated ID" since I look a bit different. I am Transgender, Not only that, they kept calling me Sir and He and they publicly humiliated me. Compared to Quest Diagnostics, they cut a LOT of hair out (two large tufts from the back as opposed to the 'small sample' I had been prepared for). I must say, I was not best pleased about this! However, the whole experience was extremely speedy, yet professional, thanks to a great team. I guess customer service is nonexistent here? Before I can even fully enter the door, the woman with the red/orange hair demands me to sign in. Uh okay, a hi how are you, would be nice. She then pulls me to the back where she starts asking for information, and clips two hair samples which were way larger than I anticipated; at this point, I'm not sure if that was the actual amount they really needed or it was bc she was taking her anger out on me...She may have been having a rough day, or just hated her job, Either way I'm glad I don't have to come here often. read more

Well it is fast. And the people are nice. The test itself however is inaccurate. I have never used anything in my life which few people can say, yet i tested positive. Of course they wont tell the company what it was I tested positive for. Just a sheet that says positive/negative. Maybe they just decided to flip a coin. False positives happen between 10-30% of the time so its necessary to be careful with the result and to be detailed. read more

I called in to request information about a false positive for cocaine on a friend's hair test. woman was flippant and rude stating "we don't make mistakes." I'm not naive, I know they must get 1000s of "it wasn't me" calls but to have to argue just to figure out what she should do next is ridiculous. there must be a procedure to follow when something like this happens. if there is, I never found out what it is because she was too busy telling me about their perfection to even consider a mistake might have been made. read more

For the most part it was a pleasant experience. Only thing is don't get Angela, shell cut your hair like she's collecting for wigs. She left me with three nearly bald spots. It's funny cause I had to do another hair test for another hotel and they sent me to the same place a week later. I was fearing that I'd end up with Angela again but ended up with patty instead. I told her please don't leave three more bald spots. She told me she didn't need that much. I then asked why did Angela take such a huge sample. She couldn't explain her action. I have had hair test done by this company many years. Several years back one test came back positive for cocaine and I had already been clean 5 years. When I called them about the result they were very harsh and how they could make no mistake and that cocaine had to have went through my system. When I told them that was not possible I was called a liar. I was very careful to be calm and gentle with them just asking how could have been possible. They just continued on how they are perfect and I was a liar. It was the most unprofessional responses I could have imagined. I was looking even for an answer like a mistake on the collectors end. But no I was a liar. The false positive was many years ago and I paid serious consequences for it and got over the extra punishment a long time ago.
