Gel manicure (nude base with silver design)

First time getting my nails done in years and left this place absolutely happy with the results! Jessica was super sweet and answered all my questions. Love my sweet and simple gel manicure

I got my toes done here with Kim and honesty it was the worst, not her but her work I went in with lengthy toe nails nicely square shaped, not thinking she could mess up a pedicure since it's what she does on a day to day basis. She cut my big toes unevenly one is shorter than the other and she cut the sides (not sure if she assumed I had ingrown nails) that she couldn't define a square shape anymore she cut the nail so short she had to do a round shape after having long square nails it's just frustrating because I requested a trim and received uneven length rounded nails, she also was charging me an extra $10 for callous removal but used a sponge to rub on my feet? I would assume for $10 you would use a grader or whatever it's called anyways the shaping was horrible she had a great canvas to work with and still managed to mess up. I think that before a service they should ask what the clients request is and if they can't do it then they should say that because it led me to write a review i like to take care of my toe nails especially when it comes to shaping not really on color or design and I specified and still got half ass work I would have preferred for her to tell me she's not the best at it then let me walk out unhappy with uneven toenails i would have requested a color change bc it took me 3 months to fix a previous mess up from another chop shop so definitely don't recommend Kim unless you want uneven length in nails.

I haven't been to a nail salon in a long time. It wasn't an awful experience but I think I prefer to stick with nails techs that do house calls or have their own place. There was some confusion regarding my appointment that I had made over the phone and it just rubbed me the wrong way. I will say my nails came out good so no complaints there, it's just more about personal preference!

It's like falling in love again for the first time,each time I visit it this place . I can't express enough how amazing this nail spot is. Steven is always so welcoming and open to anything I were to request. This is my third or fourth time visiting & I HAD to post a review as soon as I got home . I wish I took photos of my other sets so I can share. Uughhhh My nails ALWAYS look better than the reference photo & I get tons of compliments . Needless to say, IM IN LOVE Today's visit really made my day. Soo happy THANK YOU

I don't like to post bad reviews but this establishment left me no choice. I've been here a couple times, but the last time left me with a horrible experience. I asked the lady for French ombré, and instead of just saying she didn't know how, she just went on to do something not even close to French ombré and not prepping my nails correctly. She eventually told the guy that works there to take over once I told her I didn't like them. Even so, he still didn't using the correct technique for ombré and left me with ugly nails (shown in the pics). When I expressed my concerns and for a refund the response I got was to come back for a redo, which I definitely did not want to do there. I had a trip the next day and I ended up having to get them redone somewhere else right after. I asked for a refund multiple times but received no response. Would not recommend.

Been going here for almost 3 years and the staff always do a fantastic job. Steven is such a great artist and I always get so many compliments on my nails everywhere I go. Took me so long to actually find a salon I liked in the area but hit the jackpot once I found PT!

Tina is the best! She's been doing my nails for 19 years!!! WOW TIME FLIES!! The shop is very clean and everything is very sanitary. My acrylic nails always last a long time and they NEVER lift. I always get many compliments about how nice my nails look thanks to her. She does the best pedis too! My daughter loves when Steven does her toes and he does a great job as well. Anyhow, they're the best and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Came in from a recommendation for a friend. It was a nice and clean nail shop. I got taken care of right away for a manicure and pedicure. I really enjoyed the massage chair.

If I could leave no stars, I would. I called and upon me going in person, asked multiple times if they did dip. They all told me yes... I picked out my color and as the woman is shaving down my first nail, she says they do not do dip. It's too late to go back at this point. I was fine with it. Was okay doing gel and getting an almond shape. They shaved down my nails to the point where now they are super tender to the touch - extremely raw. The almond shape differed from each nail and the woman slipped the shaving machine under my nails on accident a couple of times. I asked her to forget the gel, cut them down all and just do a top coat as I was in pain and frustrated. She left my nails in different shapes, sizes, and tender. I asked to speak to someone about this since they looked awful and I was gaslit, being told this is what I asked for. I believe the person who was the manager was next to her station and the entire time didn't say anything. These are what my nails looked like after and I left (the short ones) and what they looked like before (the blue ones - NOT DONE HERE). Don't waste your money or damage your nails here.

What can I say about this place .. The best nail tech is Steven I been coming here for years for my nails and pedicure never had a problem with Steven Do I recommend them yes I do percent Some pic of my full set

I called about 20 minutes prior for a walk in, when I arrived I was helped within 15 minutes (super quick for a walk-in plus they had a lot of people there!) It was clean they had Tv's and music and the environment was relaxing. I absolutely adore my nails, I wanted nezuko inspired nails and she delivered based on the photo I gave her!! She color matched and perfectly designed them to my liking, additionally the shape and length she made sure to continue to ask if I liked them/ asking after each step if I was okay with it. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend you try this place out!!

PT Nails is the best! They have a massive selection of colors - gel and regular! They have great chairs, it's clean and affordable. What more could you ask for? They do the best Bio Gel around!! I like to keep my nails short and natural but I have seen them do some amazing coffin and long styles as well. Both Nancy and Steve are meticulous and SO nice!! read more

Amazing!!!! My first time getting my nails done here and I love them. I recently got a job in van nuys and have been looking for a place closer to me go to. And decided to try this place the other customers were talking and having a good time. I hate going to a place there is very quiet and no one is really talking. It's nice to see the nail techs laughing and acting like they know you or care to know you. Will definitely be coming make for my fill. read more

Steve was so highly regarded by Yelpers that I went to this shop. Sign says they open at 9. My appointment was at 10. Closed up tight! I stood there waiting for 15 minutes. Steve finally came. He hurt me, but I figured first time, give him a second chance because my nails looked good. Second time, I wanted 10:30, she said come at 11. I arrived at 10:50, Steve asked if I would mind waiting half an hour. I said sure. Sat down - no air conditioning, TV blasting a soccer game. After a while, the place had about 10 women customers and a loose toddler, I asked him to turn down the TV. He did - for 5 minutes. 11:30, he was still working on the previous customer. The soccer game was blasting at a salon with at least 10 women and Steve. I heard his customer say "OW!" several times. I've now waited 40 minutes. Seriously? And he was still not looking ready to take me. I walked out - PS - the closest parking space was 2 blocks away. Skip this place. read more

I'm very loyal when it comes to my beauty maintenance... had been going to the last place for 6yrs and was no longer happy. Trusted Yelp! To help me find my next go to... this is it! Steve and his wife are the best. His coffin shape is spectacular and his work is just stellar. Super clean. Pedi's are good too. Bonus is they are down the street. Parking can be a little tough but not their fault. read more

Hands down my favorite place to get my nails done! I ALWAYS have my nails done and I have tried various places near the valley, but I was never satisfied with them until I came here. I've been coming here for months now and they never disappoint. They're all the sweetest nail technicians I've ever came across and fix any mistake with pleasure. Let me start it by saying this will be my new go to nail spot. The prices are so reasonable, the staff is so welcoming and loving the minute you come in and they are so respectful and well mannered. I'm so impressed by the way I was serviced and today was my first time here. Yelp's reviews brought me down to this place and I don't regret coming here. It was exactly as I expected. Nancy did an amazing job fixing my nails and shaping them because the previous person did a horrible job and my nails lifted so fast after getting them done within days. I am extremely satisfied with the service here and they make you feel a part of the family. I definitely will be a regular customer here and I'm so glad I finally found a nail place that exceeded my expectations, and has great prices you can't beat anywhere else and it's 2 minutes away from home. The lady who did my nails was sick and coughing all over me. The guy who did my manicure was very rough and hurt me when he was giving me a hand massage. The staff is rude and I do NOT suggest you coming here. Please save your money and go to another nail place. This is the worst place I have ever been to. read more

I loved this place! It was my first time there today, and my nails came out so good! I loved the fact that they have sooooooo many colors to choose from, ANDDDD THEY DON'T CHARGE TO TAKE OFF YOUR PREVIOUS GEL MANI. That was a huge plus for me, because I've been charged up to $7 for gel polish removal. Will deff come back :) read more

To be honest I was really nervous coming in for the first time to get my nails done. My girls and I wanted to get our nails done, like a girls day out and they all live in van nuys area and I live all the way over here in Glendale. So we had no idea where to go. I yelped some places and we ransomly choose this place. And all I can say is I don't regret it one bit! Nancy is amazing and I was excited to have gotten her randomly because of her reviews on here! She took care of me from beginning to end which I loved even as they were pretty busy with clients (I called ahead and scheduled my appoinent)she did not hurry or rushed through. Nancy asked me what I wanted and I showed her a picture of some nails I saw on the net and told her I wanted something like it (because I know no one can recreate the art of another, not even the same person can create the exact same art but can create something similar or close enough and I'm okay with that) she saw the art and asked me if I wanted same shape and length. I told her yes. As she began doing my nails. She reassure what length I wanted and advised me on what length looked better for my kind of fingers, which was nice to know, because sometimes when you get your nails done and you get them done a certain shape or size it will look funny depending on your fingers shape. Well she did not disappoint with the finished product! I love my nails! They came out beautifully! I'm beyond happy with them. Definitely recommend this place only thing I do advise is parking. It's in a very small shopping center so there was hardly any parking not even in the streets so just beware of that. But I won't knock them down a star for that since that's not their fault. read more

The older lady who did my pedicure was rough, rushed through it, and didn't seem to care at all. At one point she even cleaned one of her pedi utensils on my foot, which honestly grossed me out. I had grown out my toenails specifically so they could all be trimmed to the same length, and she completely butchered them -- they came out uneven and just wrong. I don't know if it was because it was my first time here, but for something I paid for, I expected so much better. The only reason this isn't a one-star review is because of Jennie, who did my gel manicure. She was fantastic -- attentive, skilled, and clearly cares about her work. My OG nail tech Ella left and each time I had my nails done by someone new it seemed as if they'd never done nails before. Come to think of it I didn't notice licenses displayed in the salon, but I could be misremembering. Regardless, my final visit was because a nail tech filed off my pedicure gel so aggressively that I was almost in tears. NAILS SHOULDN'T HURT. Well, I guess it's on me that I went back. My son wanted a mani pedi and it's nearby so we went. I assumed when I sat down that there were multiple techs working, but no...it was one woman. Our nails (two mani/pedis) took 2.5 hours. She was very sweet but also seemed new. She applied a fake nail to one of my fingers and ended up ripping the builder gel off my finger. She then applied a gel x which worked fine. During my pedicure I pointed out that I had a blister on the pad of my big toe so no callus treatment, but she wouldn't listen. She did the callus on my heel then started on the area with the blister and WOULD NOT STOP. I had to pull my foot away and say "ENOUGH! No more!" Again, this is all as my child is there and dying to get nails so I'm just trying to get through it. The cuticles on my toes are red and sore today. I'm really disappointed. While we were there a woman came in with her gel x nails broken that she got done on Saturday, two days before. Finally, the manager or owner --idk...male-- was vaping inside the salon. Insane. To add insult to (literal) injury...the whole thing cost me $200. Girl. And that was with discounts like not charging me for the nail she ripped off my finger I guess. Then when I went to add a tip -- always tip 20%! -- I told the guy behind the counter to give her $40. That's what 20% of $200 is and outside of my foot, she worked very hard and my son LOVED her. The manager dude looked at me and had the nerve to whisper "No! That's too much!" Like...if I knew my manager tried to talk someone out of tipping me after 2.5 hours of work are you EVEN kidding me. I'm sure she works on commissions so tips help to make up for a slow day. Like I said, I have my license and I've worked in salons and had my own business for a while. So, yeah...last time ever. 2 stars because my nails do look good but I shouldn't have been in pain and it shouldn't have taken 2.5 hours.

The owner doesn't know jack shit about customer satisfaction, keeping customers happy or anything. All she cares about is money as she accepts anyone who walks in through those doors but yet doesn't give a rats ass about people who have actual appointments. Yet again, today I called for an appointment with Amy. Unfortunately again the owner answered. She gave me a time for 7:40. & she said Amy will be free. 7:10 came around, I called to see if Amy IS actually going to be available because I don't want to go & wait again for 40 minutes like the last time. But this time the owners sister answered the phone and she said wait let me confirm with Amy. She confirmed with Amy & she got back on the line with me saying 'no Amy can't take you at 7:40 because she's been busy all day today but you can come at 9pm'. I'm sorry, what? 9pm? Your boss sets up appointments for her employees at certain times yet last minute you want to change the time from 7:40 to 9pm? Never will I be stepping a foot in this salon again after the amount of disrespect I've received from the owner herself. I can go on & on about lot of other things I've encountered within the last 4yrs of being a customer here but I'd rather let the Better Business Bureau handle it moving forward. Amy, if you see this. One day when you decide to move to a better salon with better ownership & not someone who's gonna put so much pressure on you & constantly over book you just for her own profit, let me know. I'll come back to you. But other than that, I will never be stepping foot into this salon ever again.

My point was simply that the gossip (in Armenian) between the employees was loud enough for customers to hear, which I found unprofessional. I have no interest in returning. I wasn't looking for a solution. I was simply sharing my honest experience. One final point: your response incorrectly stated that I "engaged" in the employees' conversation. That is simply not true. Unfortunately, because you chose to make an inaccurate assumption instead of addressing the facts, you now have two negative reviews. Next time, make sure your information is correct.
