I'm so mad. I've been here 3 times and they always charge me $28 for pedicure and they overcharged me this time. I had to get 2 acrylic big toes but it's $5 each. They charged me $30 to remove my gel manicure which they didn't fully remove. When they asked if I wanted a manicure I said no. They asked if I wanted them 'cleaned up' and I said sure, thinking they meant filed. They removed the color from my nails but not the bottom gel coat. Trimmed my cuticles and cut my pinky. Filed my nails and put some lotion on my hands. $30. When he told me the total I said what that's too much? He just kept saying I got a manicure and I kept saying I did not. Ended up paying. Went in to get my old dip manicure removed and a regular manicure put on...THEY RIPPED IT OFF. No acetone. They stuck a thick piece of plastic in between a lift between the real nail and the dip part, and it felt like torture...especially when she jammed it into my skin and I started bleeding. To make matters worse, she tried to push a gel manicure on me three times after I said no, and she charged me extra for the horrific dip manicure removal! The gel color is on the side of my nails along with the top coat. I asked for it to be cleaned up, didn't happen. My color is smeared, and again I pointed it out and nothing. I have gel top coat on the inside of my nails and not once did he use acetone to remove it. I am so incredibly disappointed considering it was just a gel manicure. I paid $43 for a less than decent job and should've trusted my intuition when I sat down and had acetone dripping down my hands with the foil. First she tried to pill off the broken nail with her own nail which was extremely unpleasant and not hygiene at all. Later she glued a plastic nail on, I told her it's not what I asked for and she said she can't do it with gel (she maybe can't and she should have told me prior). She glued the plastic nail in a very sloppy way (my skin was glued and part of the plastic nail wasn't). That is how you damage your nails. I stopped her and asked to remove it and not continue to apply the top coat/ material and that I want it removed. Since that moment of course she was very rude and impatient. When she tried to remove she tried to use her nail again instead of proper tools and she sent me with some glue left on my nail. She literally walked away in my face and no one would help, everyone ignored me. No gloves were used. Not hygiene at all and no attention to the quality of their work. I'm new to the nail game, I like the added protection and look of a gel x set, but it does destroy your actual nails. I am still learning how to take care, sustain, the rhythm of it all. Larry- the nail tech did my nails in such a rush! He shaved off some of my skin while filing. He didn't even apologize:(.. I complained about some white nail polish he left on the blue tip and when I did he responded with "it's not bad, it's small" After sometime he did remove the white nail polish- within a second! I scheduled a 12:30 pm appointment the day prior but got there 30 minutes early. The location was clean and handle clear schedules up around each station, including a shield between your manicure technician and you. They made accommodations for me and were able to get me out quickly because they did my mani/pedi simultaneously. I got medium length, coffin shaped, dipped acrylics using color 825. I just got polish on my toes but the color matched my dipped acrylics. They also did a cute simple design on both of my big toes. The staff was very nice & I love how I was seated right away & didn't have to wait like other nails shops I've been to. I'm also a nail technician & I do get real picky about how my nails looks afterwards. I'll usually make a complain if I feel their not doing a good job, cause I know how a perfect set of acrylics look like cause I do nails as well. Nancy did my full set & she did a great job.
