I usually love it here and have been going for years. The last time I got cut because the nail tech was going way too fast and seemed to be looking away as he cut. Today my gel pedicure took 20 minutes. He (same person) was super rough, and he was racing the entire time. Instead of treating myself and relaxing with a little pampering, I was stressed and tense. Don't get me wrong, the staff is very sweet. It's this one nail tech that stresses me out. I should just request someone else. It's like he's in a hurry to finish and get the next client. Super but I mean super bad service!! Been coming here for years & notice that their work has been becoming really poor. Called today to book a pedicure appointment with Ling & when I came in it was kinda busy had to wait 30 mins even though I made an appointment with ling at 6:30pm. I'm so mad. I've been here 3 times and they always charge me $28 for pedicure and they overcharged me this time. I had to get 2 acrylic big toes but it's $5 each. I have proof on my Venmo transactions how much I usually pay and I know they up charged me. Also, it's so annoying that I got asked 4 times to put gel polish instead of regular. Went in to get my old dip manicure removed and a regular manicure put on...THEY RIPPED IT OFF. No acetone. They stuck a thick piece of plastic in between a lift between the real nail and the dip part, and it felt like torture...especially when she jammed it into my skin and I started bleeding. To make matters worse, she tried to push a gel manicure on me three times after I said no, and she charged me extra for the horrific dip manicure removal! Came in to do 1 nail. Asked for it so be done with gel. The girl that did my nail said it's not a problem. First she tried to pill off the broken nail with her own nail which was extremely unpleasant and not hygiene at all. Later she glued a plastic nail on, I told her it's not what I asked for and she said she can't do it with gel (she maybe can't and she should have told me prior). She glued the plastic nail in a very sloppy way (my skin was glued and part of the plastic nail wasn't). That is how you damage your nails. I stopped her and asked to remove it and not continue to apply the top coat/ material and that I want it removed. Since that moment of course she was very rude and impatient. When she tried to remove she tried to use her nail again instead of proper tools and she sent me with some glue left on my nail. She literally walked away in my face and no one would help, everyone ignored me. No gloves were used. Not hygiene at all and no attention to the quality of their work. The location was clean and handle clear schedules up around each station, including a shield between your manicure technician and you. They made accommodations for me and were able to get me out quickly because they did my mani/pedi simultaneously. I got medium length, coffin shaped, dipped acrylics using color 825. I just got polish on my toes but the color matched my dipped acrylics. They also did a cute simple design on both of my big toes.
