I left here feeling humiliated this time. I walked in to see if I could schedule an eyebrow appointment with Linda and was dismissed. "Linda isn't here." Silence. "Well may I know when she'll be back to know when to call?" "We don't know." Silence. All of the patrons in the nail salon look at me. I know that they've probably dealt with a lot of rude customers over the years, but it hurt me how they treated me like I was nothing in front of everyone when I have ALWAYS tried to show them the utmost respect. ALWAYS. I have tried to smile, say hello, learn each technician's name by heart, you name it. AND FOR WHAT?! If less patrons is what they wanted, they have succeeded. I want to put this humiliation behind me. People...you are important no matter what and NEVER let anyone make you feel like you don't matter. read more

MY FAVORITE NAIL SHOP. EVER. PERIOD. This Yelp review is too long over due but I cannot express how amazing this nail shop is. I've been coming here for years and this spot is the best, YES THE BEST nail shop in the valley. It is the only nail shop I go to. Tried this place randomly and it did not disappoint Came for a French tip gel pedicure... I am going to have to drive all the way out here for this again because this was the best/prettiest French tips I have ever got. The employee who did my pedicure took their time, even though it was close to closing. They cleaned my cuticles and shape my nails nicely. The French tips were painted to perfection. So pleased! Rang me up at $53 (Gel French tip pedicure + 2 acrylic tips on toes) Free parking in food for less parking lot. read more

I came here for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was greeted by Cindy, who was amazing! I spent the afternoon with Natalie. She did an amazing job with my gels, including the cutest design. I can't wait to go back. The facility is clean. There is an autoclave to clean all the tools and the spa pedicure chairs have a liner. Amazing! I was able to get in with Kelly for eyebrow touch up. Thank goodness I saw her! She fixed my messed up eyebrows. I can finally look at myself in the mirror again. I love this salon. The people are amazing! I definitely recommend Palace Nails. read more

I'll sum it up like this: clean, neat, sweet. If you're big on cleanliness, sanitation, and covid safety, you will appreciate Palace Nails. Of course, go during the week when there would be less people, but when it comes to masks, cleaning, and sanitized equipment, you'll be comfortable here. I also got the vibe that feedback was welcome if there had been anything that would have made me more comfortable or if I had not loved how my nails turned out- which I did. Also, in my 30 years of getting pedicures, I have never once been given the nail file, buffer, and pumice stone that was used on me to take home. As soon as Kelly gave me the things all bagged up to take with me, I wondered why all the dozens of nail shops I have been to in my lifetime never did this. You are assured that these are one use items (only on you), there is no waste in just throwing it away when you could use it yourself, and you leave with a goody bag. A win all around! Sidenote: I don't know what Kelly used or did to make my callused feet still soft days later, but this has never happened to me before either. read more

I love a good local business and especially a family one with amazing Ladies. My friend called and made appt for the both of us to get mani/pedi. Greeted and seated immediately. Very prompt with their schedule. Phone was ringing off the hook aka popular and busy. Good sign of returning customers. Just got a classic polish job. The massage chairs were good. I think they have a sterilizing liquid added to the soak... water's blue. No massage really but very efficient and effective. Ps wear flip flops with thin straps and tip cash! read more

It was my first time coming here and my first time getting acrylics with my sister. I was very hesitant at first, considering I don't get acrylics often. But after my sister kept speaking highly of Cindy, I gave it a shot. She's very bubbly, detailed, and proficient in her work. She really took her time and made sure I was satisfied throughout the process. Cindy helped pick out what color and shape would look best and made sure I was happy at the end. Linda was able to squeeze me in for a full set acrylics and despite the phones ringing off of the hook, she was able to balance a busy work day and also be attentive to my nails. It was very rushed but it was done with perfection! I'm seriously glad I found this place! Linda is amazing!!! $35 for basic color-no gel and this length 01/12/2019 Update: My nails were still attached!!! I only just forcefully took them off yesterday. I'm really I pressed that they lasted so long. I will definitely be returning! read more

I was really excited to try this place out based on all the other reviews pictures but when I asked for a simple French tip + design, I did not get what I was expecting at all. I wish I would have gotten the woman's name who did my nails but I was too nervous. She took her time to do my nails but the French tip just came out uneven and the design I asked for looked like I did it myself. When I asked for the design I made it clear that it's okay if she can't do it and I wish she would have just been honest and told me the design was out of her expertise level. In the end, the paint on one of my nails had obvious bubbles and when I politely asked her to fix it, she tried to buff it out but that didn't help. I walked away with the weird paint bubbles on my finger. Probably won't be coming back unless I request for a different person to do my nails read more

I went in for a french tip pedicure. I wanted the tip red. The guy I had didn't put on the clear coat. I'm used to a clear coat being applied...the tip done...followed by another clear coat. He only did the red tip. Maybe he needs more training. read more

Save your $50! This review is only for a regular manicure/pedicure. This review is NOT about gel nails or any fake nails. I went in for a regular manicure/pedicure, paid $50, went home, and 30 hours or less my nails are chipping. I noticed that the top edges were not painted, so in 2 more days my $50 nails will look like $5 nails. I gave it 2 stars because the lady was nice. I also tipped her $10 (I always tip good), but next time I'm going somewhere where my nails will last more that 30 hours ...at least 3 days....and I won't feel like I over tipped... read more

Love this place! Always busy so definitely call to make an appointment if possible. I've been a few times for a gel manicure and although sometimes there is a language barrier, I've always left satisfied! Would be a 5 star review if it were easier to be understood by the tech though. I have sensitive cuticles so I tried to warn the tech last time I was there but she didnt understand. I was in extreme need of a fill! haha. It was on the edge of becoming a new set, but they salvaged my nails. :P I have never been here, but always passed by it and gave them a try. I'm glad I did! I came in for a full set with my friend and i was seated first even though we had the same app time and they saw her like 30 minuets latter i was already seated.When my friend finally got a seat they wanted to charge her $90 for her nails!!! $90 is a outrageous! she ended up leaving without getting her nails done! then I had asked for a holographic design with an almond shape nail and they were ready to charge me $70!!!!!!! in the end my one nails is "crooked" and i only got the design on my ring fingers which costed me $50! two stars is being generous since the place was clean bottom line... will not be returning any time soon! read more

Although they are friendly (once you're actually acknowledged) that's not enough to bring me back. The decor is a nice touch too but still- not enough to up their stars. I waited for 45 minutes for an eye-brow waxing. I came in smiled, and decided to wait. I wasn't acknowledged by staff for another 20 minutes and I was not helped until I got up to leave- as I was livid. The waxing takes 5 minutes. I've never waited more than ten minutes anywhere for the minimal service I was having done. It was also more expensive then I'm used to paying- at the same quality of work. I was desperate...in times of desperation of course we end up settling for places like this. read more

Mark, Kelly, and Linda are all really great ! I have gotten my nails done by all 3 of them and I have always had really good customer service. This is a family owned business and you really feel like family when you come here. And they also do some really great designs for you ladies who like to get fancy! I have always been happy with my results and the one time I had a concern they were able to address it right away and fix my nails. Great place to get your nails done and they have a good selection of nail polishes and gels. These workers know that they are doing ! This place does get packed towards the later end of the day so just make sure to get an appointment to get a convenient time for you. 5 stars all around ! read more

Got myself a lovely pedicure here :) I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was relatively busy. First impression: wow! This place is clean and everything is new :) All the nail polish colors are located on the wall to your right ...I got a French tip pedicure with a design ($15) + ($5) + ($5) and callous remover scrub ($5) . It's family-owned by an Asian family and they are all super attentive and have good customer service. The reason I'm giving it 4/5 is because they add a $1 surcharge on credit card transactions...and the water was super hot when I initially dipped my feet in...major ouch! But it's worth trying this place and I would go back again...my feet are silky smooth and the flower design is pretty! :) read more

I'm so glad I found a good nail salon close to me. I decided to test myself to a Mani/ Pedi and it was well worth it. I called and made an appointment, but I still had to wait about 20 minutes. First I want to say the pros - took in walk ins - only waited 2 mins to be seated. I came around 2:15pm on a friday. -asked for pedicure and manicure -nice staff Now for the cons -super hot water when I put my feet in it nearly burned me. Then I asked them to make it waem and they did. -uncomfortable seat. -the pedicure was mediocre - she hardly took all the cuticle off -really short and weak massage -bad job in outing nail polish all lumpy. The manicure some old lady named mom did it. - she did it super fast -made me reach across with my other arm , very uncomfortable -20 second massage. Lame and horrible -bad job on putting the polish. -charged me 25!!!!! For doing such a bad job. Plus I still tipped. If u ask me they charge too much for crappy job. Will never come back and I hope you don't either. read more

I came in for a broken nail and ended up getting a refill to match the amazing detailed work on that one nail. Even though they had a tight schedule they were able to work on me right away. They fixed the length and texture of my no so perfect full set I had done elsewhere. You can tell the atmosphere is genuine as you watch the customers and nail artists greet each other by name and share stories together. Thank you for squeezing me in on a busy day! I use to drive to a salon close to my house then my lady moved to Simi which is far for me. My sister came here once and I tagged along. I am so picky with my nails I was impressed with how great my nails looked. Now my sister is a regular and I tag along when possible. They are they best at what they do and offer Awesome customer service. I usually get my nails done by Linda, Kelly or Mark unless it's a manicure no acrylic then I go with whoever is free. I used to frequent Posh Nails on Woodley and Victory because I absolutely loved the owner Lisa and her sweet husband. Although their nail salon was small and there was also a wait, they were incredibly attentive and friendly and did a wonderful job. The last time I went I was surprised to find out they had sold Posh. Since then things haven't been the same. The only time i've gotten my nails done is if I have a window on the Westside as none of the nail shops I had tried in the valley were up to par with Posh. Last Saturday I took my chances with Palace Nails. Turns out, the old owners of Posh own Palace now! Palace is not only bigger, but their staff has grown! My daughter and I arrived on a Saturday morning and we were immediately seated. My five year old was very picky in her choice of polish..with a different color polish for each nail. They were very accommodating and sweet. They also did a wonderful job on my feet and nails and the prices are very reasonable. $25 for a mani pedi. $5 dollars for my little ones polish (they also cut and filed her little piggies). I will definitely back. It's just up the street from me and there is ample parking. read more

I tried explaining to the owner how I felt and she was not understanding at all and said " next time pick another nail artist" and still charged me for a regular mani. The only reason I was going was for. Liz and Itzel that's it. I am attaching a picture because according to the owner, the shape it was perfect and the color was exactly like the book. The book was a deep dark blue and my shape is definitely not what I asked. I also communicated this to the Nail tech multiple times.

The gel polish chipped significantly, and 2 of my nails broke, which is not the level of quality I would expect from a gel manicure. I was busy watching the soccer game during my appointment and did not engage in or participate in the employees' conversations (although I did talk here and there about the game, just in case you're wondering ). My point was simply that the gossip (in Armenian) between the employees was loud enough for customers to hear, which I found unprofessional. I also don't believe I should be expected to spend more of my time returning to fix something that should never have happened in the first place, especially after only two days. I have no interest in returning. I wasn't looking for a solution. I was simply sharing my honest experience. One final point: your response incorrectly stated that I "engaged" in the employees' conversation. That is simply not true. Unfortunately, because you chose to make an inaccurate assumption instead of addressing the facts, you now have two negative reviews. Next time, make sure your information is correct.

Anna was extremely sweet and she kept asking if I liked everything if I had any pain if something was uncomfortable which my leg gets shaky when I get pedicures and she was able to do the polish even with my leg shaking like that and she kept adjusting so that I could be comfortable. My gel-x was done by Mely and she was also incredibly nice and did an amazing job with my nails she asked before doing anything with shape/length/ and even how deep I wanted my french tip. I also want to add that this is my first time ever going somewhere that I didn't feel any type of pain whatsoever start to finish. I also want to say the girl who greeted me at the front was extremely kind and offered me coffee/water before starting, the entire staff was just incredibly kind and welcoming which I know alot of places that's not the case. I also loveddd the entire vibe of the salon it was the cutest and so relaxing I have yet to see another salon so aesthetically pleasing and clean. I completely understand that businesses get busy, but there is a respectful way to communicate that to customers- we are human beings after all. Instead, I walked across the street to another salon, where they were friendly, accommodating, and took care of the gel removal right away for $10. After years of supporting this business, I expected much better customer service. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very negative impression and made me question whether I will return. Perhaps under different circumstances.

To avoid further tension, I picked a different color under pressure. I contacted them afterward, and the response was incredibly unprofessional. Management argued with me via text, citing "camera footage" to claim I wasn't actually uncomfortable. It's a shame that being polite and "smiling" while leaving is being used against me to deny that the service was tense. They offered a small discount for a redo ($15 instead of $25), but at this point, I'd rather go to a salon where the staff is actually friendly and I don't have to argue with management just to be heard. Edit: The owner ignored my private text regarding a technician speaking poorly about me, yet chose to respond publicly instead. This lack of professionalism is exactly why I requested a female technician. Furthermore, at no point was I offered a redo or even a basic apology for the hostile environment. Beware: if the staff is comfortable speaking negatively about clients in the salon, your experience won't be any different. Check the attitude before this business fails. RIP and good luck

Tip: parking is tight but they have 2 spaces reserved w orange cones directly in front of the shop. Just move those to park, otherwise street parking on the side is available.
