My husband and I questioned them each month about insurance funding. We were assured early in October 2024 "not to worry". And yet after their failure to receive insurance approval, after their failure to notify us in a timely manner to make other arrangements for residence and rehabilitation, after more than a year of no contact from their offices, no After Care Program contact, no statements, we receive an exorbitant bill that we felt must be in error. After discussing it with CNS Lakeway directors we feel that this bill is fraudulent and punitive. We left the CNS facilities by the date they said we needed to leave or incur charges. Yet 16 months after care ended to receive this bill for $36,400 is shocking, terrifying, and painful since it represents yet another failure of CNS to provide ethical patient-centered care.

It's been such a relief to know that Mom is safe and being well cared for. I have cameras in her room and visit regularly throughout the week so I'm very aware of the attention she receives and it gives me peace of mind to know that she is content, well liked, receiving good medical attention and getting the therapy she needs, not to mention participating in fun activities and making friends. They schedule regular assessments with the family to address any needs, preferences or concerns and my family is regularly reassured that the resident's health, comfort and satisfaction continue to be a priority.

The doctors were great, Dr. Webb and his Neurological team were amazing. the OR had all of the state of the art equipment that you need for back surgery. I had concerns about having surgery in a new hospital. I've lived in Lakeway for 26 years and we've seen the hospital go through changes. It has changed for the best and I would tell anyone it is a great place to be. It's actually a special special place.

First of all, this is not a busy ER or hospital. My grandmother fell. She broke her arm. We went to…read morethe ER. The nurse did not get a set of vitals for 45 minutes. They did an X-ray. The doctor was a D.O. and not an M.D. He said her arm wasn't broken. Took 6 hours from the time we entered the ER until she was in a room on the med-surge floor. The next day the orthopedist saw her and ordered another x-ray on Saturday. The X-ray was performed. Orthopedist came back on Sunday. He said that he had not received the report. He finally gets report that was nearly 24 hours old. Arm broken! She went in on a Friday and they didn't splint her arm until Sunday. Also, she had not urinated in 24 hours. Not a nurse had charted I &Os on her. This was her day two. I had to go request a pitcher of water for her and ask that they monitor her output. I'm a nurse. This place is tragic!
