Horrible. Appointments are so unnecessary they attend other people before you and you end up waiting even up to an hour for your appointment. They get bothered and annoyed when you tell them what you want specifically or if they can fix something as if you're not paying for what YOU want!! They can also be very rude at times with their attitude.. it is so unwelcoming. Jasmine who does pedicures is GREAT! Kind as well. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. The lady that did my nails was really rude and sassy she clipped off all my nails when I told her I wanted to keep my nails long and natural and then she made me use acrylic tips. She even cut my skin while trimming my cuticles. She got irritated about the design. I wanted and was giving me attitude because I wanted a particular design on all of my nails and I could tell because she got sassy with me. I was upset, and she knew that. I cannot praise this place enough. Hebe is the best nail tech I've had. She has such attention to detail that my nails always come out looking exactly like the inspo photo. Yes, the nail techs will run late sometimes. Knowing the work that Hebe does, I don't mind to wait. There's a target near by and I just do some shopping in there and come back when they tell me to. I just take into consideration that she might be running late when I make my appointments. I don't mind waiting given the amazing work she does and the super reasonable prices. I called this place on Saturday 06/24 to get full set Gel-X done however it was close to closing but surprisingly they told me they'd do them. When the lady finished (sorry I didn't get her name but she has a chubby face) I wasn't happy at all. She rushed to do my nails even though I told her not to. Honestly they looked like press-on nails not Gel-X at all. I'm pissed and would love to get a refund for this half- assed job done. If you plan on going to this place beware!! read more

She did my nails super thick and bumpy that I had to ask someone else there to file them. She overcharged $65 for a simple refill/pearl color. She has a bad attitude and her work is horrible. unsanitary and rushed pedicure. showed her an open wound i had in my foot that i covered to avoid infection but took the cover off thinking it would be sanitary. nope. took a chance stupidly and she scrubbed my feet fast and aggressively going right over the wound without a care in the world. tools she used on me were the exact same as she used in the last person and NEVER washed them. then came the manicure and this made me report them to the cosmetics association of california. the lady was nice and sweet but what she did to my nails and fingers is u forgettable. she buffed so hard on the bottom of my nails she made a literal bleeding hole in the bottom of my thumb nail. then i had a slight hangnail on my other thumb and she took the cuticle trimmers and didn't just take the hangnail but the entire chunk of skin underneath to where i was bleeding like crazy. she didn't bat an eye she just put nail polish remover on a cotton ball and put it right on there to clean it which was so so so painful. when it kept bleeding she swiped at it with her very dirty hands over my nail and put the extension on over the blood. what. my cuticle trimming was rushed and she kept buffing with the electric buffer and grabbed the small square one and as if my cuticle area was a calloused foot began to buff my skin. she the rushed through the rest of it and the reference photo i gave her was what i would say simple in comparison to the other designs they tend to feature. totally awful rushed mess. my nail beds are throbbing in pain and it's been two days. DO NOT GO HERE!! they do not care about quality unless it's for instagram or promotion but when you come in you will likely leave with an infection on the rise or blood dripping off your fingers. i'm aware i should have said something but i was too embarrassed and never realized how bad it was until i came home. i absolutely shouldn't have told her it looked great and that i loved it but i wanted to get out of there and avoid conflict because the antibacterial soap at home was calling my name. the next day the pressure of the extension on my thinning nail beds was unbearable so i had to take them off. attached are pics of the design and my nails following removing them. look at the skin. i didn't do that it was from the manicure. i now sleep with neosporin on my fingers. horrible. read more

I came here on a Thursday afternoon, after New Year's Day and it was surprisingly busy. A small, quaint but efficient location. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and instructed to go to a spa chair, as I only wanted a gel manicure. I thought about nails too, but they were too crowded and right after I came in, a flood of people came in and had to wait. Lisa did my pedicure, and she was a very kind and communicative lady. She massaged the heck out of my feet! It felt so good, and I could've sat there for an hour, lol. I would've appreciated a little more scrubbing on my callous treatment, but overall it was a solid pedicure and I would return. read more

While in the salon getting a pedicure I saw a cockroach on the floor going towards my shoes. I kind of gasped and made eye contact with the worker that was doing my toes. He didn't do anything about it and then when he went to do another client's feet he started talking in his language to another worker and they started laughing. That's not funny when you see a cockroach in your business and customers see that. I recommend they do deep cleaning once a day mopping the whole floor! Their Spa chairs are a little bit used and worn out. read more

Let me start by saying I REALLY thought about writing this review. Lily has been the one doing my nails and she is great at her craft, she's fast! Unfortunately I've had to wait over 30 minutes sometimes 40 minutes to be seen with an appointment. I've tried making appointment 2 weeks ahead in hopes it would solve the issue of having to wait so long. I am an understanding person and know there are very hectic days but it has become a bad habit in my opinion. Every single nail tech makes their clients waits 30-40 minutes unfortunately. One time I waited around 30ish minutes and had to pause my set because she had another client scheduled during my appointment. I was in shock when she asked me to wait because she needed to do her other client first. I'm a paying customer too. I think most clients, myself included would rather you be transparent about not having availability. Last time I went I got a set, she was in such rush she forgot to apply the top layer to seal the gel polish which I didn't notice until I left. I brought it to her attention & she told me to come back but I wasn't able to because guess what? I'm busy too! I have also had to change my nail inspiration ideas because I know she's in a rush, which realistically is not my fault. It's unfortunate & I think I was an understanding client more than I should've been. I think they would really improve if they worked on their time management. read more

Overall good experience it was not bad, but at the end of the day, the nail products was horrible. My nails were already lifting and one of them already cracked. I do not recommend this place. It was my first time going, and it was not good as to my nails, always lasting for more than two weeks. Lily does a good job and Sherry for nails, but everybody else is a big zero and my pedicure already chipped after only a week so there goes my hard earned working money I do not recommend this place. read more

I was going to the nails shop instagram and found Hebe ig so I decided to messaged her. Unfortunately, this happened to me as it stated in the messages. She asked if I am Vietnameses and I answered politely "Yes" but then she said Sorry to me just because who I am. She said She would felt uncomfortable to do nails for Vietnamese. I just felt so unfair and discriminated. You know that breaks the law right? I even messaged the PTJ Nails and Spa and tell them what happened but didn't receive any apologies or anything, just suggest me to book with another lady instead. I have been here 3x and I have been skeptical each time. Their customer service is amazing, but I have noticed that everytime I get a pedicure they never use new or clean tools. It's always from one person on to the next without sterilizing tools.from the nail clippers to the files and even the foot scrub that they use. That is such a huge problem and very unsanitary. I really wanted to like this place but after noticing this on 3 different occasions I think I will no longer go back. Especially after my mother got fungus on her toe nail from getting her pedicure here I'm sure it's from that. From them not switching out tools or sanitizing them after each use. The lady did my eyebrows how she wanted to them when I ask her to make em thinner she said I'll regret it and wouldn't do it I begged her to redo it cuhz I paid for eyebrows she grabbed my face took a picture then with tense pressure did my eyebrows and made sure it hurt the 2nd round and still didn't do em right ! (I felt like I was a Slave back in the day getting bad treatment being the only black person in there while all the other races are receiving good customer service) I pray to the most high that shops like this get closed down for Good smh my feelings are hurt Horrible people here Horrible energy ! I was looking for a place to remove my acrylic nails and found this salon. I called for the price of the removal and they had said $6. I'm not sure the lady who did the removal, but she was sweet! The whole process was a little disappointing. She hit the Ring of Fire on 2 of my nails and over-filed the rest, causing them to feel like they're burning. The electric nail file attachments also weren't properly sanitized and she took an attachment from the person next to us and used it on me without cleaning. Big No No as things should always be properly sanitized in-between clients (I am a licensed esthetician and disinfection/sanitation is HUGE). At the end of the service, I confirmed that the price was $6, as that was what I was told and it was listed on their menu. All to be told that it was actually going to be $10 because I didn't get a manicure afterwards. So it's $6 with a manicure or new full set, and $10 without. If that was the case, I wish it was listed or at least communicated correctly. read more

If you book with Lily and Sherry then you will receive good service. Buuuut anyone else in that place will give so much attitude and for no reason! Its so obvious that they talk about you in their language too. One of the older ladies who does pedicures says rude stuff in English very loud so other clients can hear and i feel she does it on purpose to make you feel embarrassed. Like one time she said my toe was too big and then looked at the client sitting next to me to see if she laughed. On a different occasion I kindly asked one of the younger girls who specializes in pedicures to please fix the work she was doing on my toes but she made someone else do it. Then i asked if i could wax my eyebrows with her since she also does waxes and she mumbled something (something rude i can only assume) and all the other ladies laughed. Then when i tipped her at the end she snatched the cash and walked away. The work is good but be careful because if you make them work too hard they wont like you. read more

They paid attention to detail by not missing the sides of my nails and painting even layers which I appreciate. The people know what they're doing and get you in and out. They get a lot of business.
