We called for an appointment and were lucky enough to secure a spot on our last day on vacation. We've been coming to ptown for over a decade and I cannot believe we have only now found this gem, and the incredibly gifted Zoe. The 50-minute massage flew by and I literally floated out. I used to think that I needed someone to apply painful pressure to heal my muscles but now I realize that it's the deliberate pressure applied in an intuitive approach that holds the healing powers my neck, shoulders, and lower back have needed for nearly 50 years. The work to my shoulders/neck were so very healing! The space was quiet, calm, and relaxing but not pretentious. While I'm glad we don't live closer because I'd go broke visiting Zoe at ptown massage daily, I *AM* already planning my next visit. Had an extremely good massage from Vlad while visiting Provincetown. His hands are strong and very accurate -- a lot of even good therapists sometimes press on bone or miss the muscle -- Vlad was on target the whole time. I asked for medium pressure, and have the impression he could easily have gone firmer/deeper if asked. I get bodywork regularly, and Provincetown is actually not an easy place to find a really good bodyworker -- my previous go-to, Robert Bruillard from Palm Springs at Namaste Spa, isn't spending the summer in Ptown any more. Vlad perhaps doesn't do the same ecstatic spiritual experience as Robert did, but he's dang good. read more

Great experience - Starting with the ease of the online scheduling for a same day apt. Extremely welcoming environment... I was greeted by a friendly group of staff members as soon as stepped up to the building. Front desk reception (I wish I'd caught her name) was equally as warm. I I'm betting that every massage therapist is great, but I was lucky enough to get Bryan, a seven year massage wizard! He took the time to really understand where my issues were and then made a plan to address them all. Bryan knows his way around pressure points and also gave me some incredible stretches that I'd never had done before. I called Ptown Massage about 11:00 am and was able to schedule an appointment the same day for 3:15 pm. I met with Jerry, who was a lovely guy with amazing hands. I told him my primary concern was my shoulders and paid special attention to them and just gave the most amazing fully body massage I have ever experienced. Honestly, that may not be saying much since that was first professional massage ever. But Jerry was incredible! The music he played was very calming and the temperature of the room was perfect. Jerry seems to have a rhythm to his method that totally put me in the zone. Make sure you show up a few minutes early so that you can fill out a small form about what sort of massage you're looking for, but they tell you that when you make the appointment. The massage was totally legit, but he seems a bit...odd... and a little flirty, though he never crossed the line, I didn't feel comfortable. I am a massage whore. I love massage, really, really love massage and I'm not even that picky. The "massage" I paid $110 for at P Town massage was the worst massage I have ever had. No joke. So I give 3 stars because my gf had one guy and said he was amazing so if you get him (ask for the guy who does deep tissue and trigger points) then apparently the place is fab. My guy specializes in "stretch" BUT I said I just wanted a regular relaxing massage! Instead I got yanked and stretched and was in pain the ENTIRE time! I actually couldn't wait for it to end which I've never thought during a massage. I am sure if I felt like a stretch it would have been great. They need to be clear that this dude only does stretch because I would have just waited and scheduled with the other guy. The place is also just over priced in general but it is a tourist town. I highly reccomend Urban Oasis in Inman Sq. - much better and cheaper. read more
