    Burger with Fries

I really like this place.... And no not just because it's literally super close to my house. My friend actually invited me this time, to eat. I have always had the wings from PT's especially when out drinking with friends or family and I can honestly tell you I have never had better wings than the ones at PT's, they never disappoint. So this time I tried the actual food. Hamburger and Fries - This hamburger was so fire, the meat was nice and juicy and the bun was a nice brioche bun which are my favorite when eating a hamburger. The fries were good as well but at the end of the day just fries. Nonetheless good plate. Food - 9 / 10 Service - 8.5 / 10 Setting - 8.5 / 10 Total - 9 / 10

I was hungry and didn't feel like cooking so I had hubby drive us to PT's Gold on Warm Spring & Decatur. I've been to many PTs locations but this one was special. Not only was it not too crowded or too busy but imo not too smokey. I have a PTs TRUE card and had a BOGO entree based on my previous play that I used. I was expecting the normal pizzas and burgers with fries that are typical of pubs food but I was surprised they also had shrimp tacos, chicken wraps, bacon burgers along with all the other goodies. They also have a choice of sweet potato fries, crinkle cut fries or curly fries!! Yumm! The poker machines at the bar allowed me to play for awhile while I waited for our food as I sipped on my hot delicious coffee. Hit a couple 4 of a kind. Yippee! Tip money hehee. My hubby loved his bacon burger and it was nice and moist with fluffy buns. My shrimp tacos was a bit dry but still good. Add a good amount of hot sauce and you're good. Jackie was our bartender/server and she made our lunch special while we left happy and loved. Thank you Jackie! I'll be back for that Bloody Mary or maybe a Michelada. Big grin :D

We just moved to this side of town and was trying to find a new place to hangout. We came here Thursday night. Very nice bar. Lots of machines, a pool table, and a golf game. Great food. Ricky the bartender was phenomenal and so was the manager that was there when we arrived. ( I forgot her name). Sit down and was gambling and then hit 1800 dollars. We most definitely will make this one of our hangouts.

Love the new girl, Ashley, not quite "blonde" enough for me but she promised she will do better. Trish and Jackie always rock! I haven't been there in weeks and they remembered me like I've been there non-stop. Chi

When we want chicken wings this is our place. But this visit we are trying the fried shrimps and boy it's cook to perfection not over fried, I was overly surprised. It's really just made for locals who don't like the hassle of going to any casinos and dealing with too much ppl. The staff are nice and accommodating. The only downside is that u can't order ahead so u need to actually go in and order your food and wait. But yeah the chicken wings are our faves and now the shrimps yes I would order it again and for $10 it's not bad at all

    CHEESESTEAK

Had a little date night with my lady and it was nice! We started out with drinks I got a very good old fashioned and my lady got a jack and coke. After we had potstickers, very delicious!! Then I got the Caesar salad which was soooo good!! I tried not to finger lick the bowl but anyways my gf got the cheesesteak, she didn't really like it so we got her lemon pepper wings instead. I'm not sure how she felt about them. But overall the drinks were hitting!! And the service was very good. As well as the atmosphere. Even got a free meal after a very nice gentleman paid for us.

But let's get straight to the issue- the HOSPITALITY! I don't like being negative- I want local businesses to thrive and reach more people, but I need to add this bit of criticism- Lately, coming here feels like you're rolling the dice- and going out to eat and being treated well shouldn't have to feel like a gamble. When I dine here, I don't feel welcome. The bartenders make it clear that they cater to some regulars more than others. It takes the bartender half an hour to get us started with drinks and a menu to look at the food. It's crazy- I come here so often know some of this establishment's staff by name now and yet, I'm met with this recent disservice- The other night I arrive here with my girlfriend to grab some food around 1 am. I see the bartender, Ryan, zooming around, refilling beer and shots, going in and out of the kitchen. It's not that busy of a Friday night- maybe a handful of couples and groups all sitting at the bar. He passed SEVERAL times by me, no acknowledgement, no "Hey, bear with me, I'll be right with ya." 1:30. He finally comes to us apologizing, gets us started on drinks and hands us the menu. We take a couple of minutes to decide. He stands around by the Pos and talks to another bartender (Andrew I think?), who came from the kitchen, then immediately left. Another 10-15 minutes pass. By this point, I was wondering if I should just walk out. Finally, Ryan comes to take our orders. Typically, a server or bartender leads the conversation, right? I'm sure you hear things like "what can I get started for you," or "how would you like your eggs cooked" or "how would you like your Steak cooked" - You've all heard those before, right? Well- nothing. No cue. No asking anything. It felt awkward. Uncomfortable. Unwelcoming. I don't even know if he was paying attention. At one point, it was ME who was the one asking my girlfriend "How do you want your eggs cooked?" when she asked to get the Steak and Eggs because there was ZERO response coming from our bartender to anything we said. The energy felt COMPLETELY off, so I just asked then and there for the check and left off to grab some Cane's instead. An absolutely dismal experience. I don't like making my reviews about me, but I felt like I needed to explain exactly why I'm upset about my recent visits here so anyone reading this can better understand instead of just reading a vague mention of how rude the staff was. Let's get to the Good Bar Bites I recommend if you do come here (maybe day time could give you a different experience): WSKY Burger- I recommend a medium on the patty! Very juicy- the crunch of the onion rings and candied bacon- One of my favorite burgers! Steakhouse sliders- tasty and sharable mini burgers! Although- I need some clarification- Can modifications be made to this dish? One day, while ordering over the phone, a bartender named Zach told me I cannot add an extra slider (I wanted 4 sliders instead of just the 3 that come on the order), I'd have to purchase two whole orders if I wanted more. What's this about? I've never had that issue before, so just curious. Flatbread Pizza- of course pizza is always awesome to munch on. The crunch on the flatbread is so satisfying I honestly don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. It sucks. The bar looks beautiful, the food is delicious. But why have I been treated like an outsider lately? It's not worth going to a place, even if it has good food, if you're not going to be treated well.

I ordered the Reuben and spam musubi as an appetizer they were decent the prices were also standard I would have paid 20 or so but I had an LVA coupon which comped most of the meal. Gaming quality is as usual bad but unfortunately normal for most gaming bars which is less than 97% return video poker. At the very least the players club is good another Jett gaming run club which gives $20 free play as a welcome offer, points and various free plays promotions while actively playing. As far as the service goes it was good for the most part they took my coupon, made me a card, were attentive and changed the TV channel to the game I wanted to watch which I appreciated. It was just two things that rubbed me the wrong way. First when you cash out you don't get your cents on the ticket which I didn't want anyway but seems odd to not even ask. The second is I paid cash for my food bill in excess of what I owed the female bartender took it and said nothing to me just going to her other customers, I was still watching the game waiting for her to offer me my change but she never came back. I then told her I gave her $10 for what was a $4.50 bill or so and that I wanted her to keep the change as my tip anyway just making sure she hadn't accidentally locked it up then she asked "what do you want your $5 back?" In a condescending tone to which I said she could keep it but I wanted to make sure to tell her because she never said anything to me or even asked she just automatically took my change for her tip which is a very sleazy thing to do and made me feel like I was being hustled by this broad. I've never experienced that at any bar or restaurant the polite thing to do is at least ask. Overall it's an ok bar I believe there are a lot of better options even in that area but it wouldn't hurt to stop by. Personally I wouldn't visit again unless promotions and mailers made it worth it to do so.

The order came with three filets along with tartar sauce, coleslaw, and hush puppies. The Cajun chicken Alfredo was amazing and very flavorful. The chicken and sausage were cut into small pieces which made it easy to eat and the sauce had great Cajun flavor without being overpowering. So glad we decided to try this place while on vacation. There's also a nice couch section with a round center table where I saw a group of friends enjoy their visit. If you're into sports, there's several televisions around the perimeter that provide good view of the action. As my first time here, the staff is very kind in explaining how the process works. I was told that you can enter your phone number and then it allows you to scan the QR code on the table for food. The alternative is to walk up to the front counter to order. I wanted to learn how to do this process so I tried. I added the food item to the cart on my phone but when it came to checkout, I was unsure how to proceed. It asked me to add a credit card, yet I already had one opened on file for my visit. I went back up to the front and the team member was unsure so we handled the entire food ordering up front. I put in an order for the chili nachos and the size was quite decent with a lot of toppings. It's a good shareable to start. I also tried the sweet potato fries which I asked for more well done to ensure that they come out with some crisp. The sweet potato fries were actually a waffle and they did come out nice, hot and crispy - so that is a winner of an app! The pour yourself concept is interesting and it's nice that each sign provides information about the content and more info if you tap the screen - such as the general beer taste description. The glass shelf has several options. I didn't see any cold glasses which would have been a plus. The staff member said that you can sample beers by just pouring a little, but there were no small shot glasses to do this. Therefore, I was compelled to just go for it and pour 3 ounces to try a light lager. Sitting back at the table, I was almost certain that a new glass would be required for each visit. However, I saw everyone bring their own glass back up to refill each time. I didn't see any clear signage on site that explained the process. If refills are allowed - then I think that additional signage should also explain pouring etiquette as well. There's a water station for self serve as well. I appreciate the lids and straws that are also at the station. I would have loved to have some ice readily available but I'm sure it's probably just an ask as I saw others have ice in their drinks. The pricing per ounce reminds me of a self serve yogurt place in that the amount you get actually feels more expensive in the end. The per ounce feel makes you think it's a good deal, but it's on par or a hair over other places that pour for you. Overall, I think this is a cool concept to try and to show out of town friends if they don't have anything like this in their area. Also - I can see this being a great place if friends are going dutch as they can use their own card and everyone is responsible for their share. Lastly, if you don't like to commit 16 oz to just one beer, this is a great way to try several beers in one sitting.

It's expected when you go to a place where patrons are expected to be a certain age. I've met 2 different bar tenders which have both been awesome! The other day I asked the bar tender if I could get the VGK game on the TV in front of me. Not only did he put the game on, but also turned up the sound! Today, I sat down at a seat. The game was on a TV about 3 or 4 TV's over. I had no problem turning my head over to watch the game. I was doing something on my phone, and when I looked up, I realized he had put the game on the TV in front of me. He also remembered what I drink which was an added bonus! I'm a huge fan of New Orleans and the Saints! When you're inside the bar, you forget that you're in Vegas. It has a very cool New Orleans vibe to it. There are TV's in front of almost every seat. In the back there are several huge screens and very comfortable couches. There's been a problem they are trying to fix with the video games, which I don't care because that's not what I went in for. They do however have a working Pool Table. Beers are very affordable, if I remember correctly, $3.25 or $3.50 a beer. If you're looking for Mardi Gras beads, they have every team you can think of for sale. I know they have food, but have never tried it. So I can't speak on it. The arcade operates on game tokens, which are handed out with drink and food purchases- for example, spend $10, get 10 game tokens. The price for the games ranges from 1 token for pinball and "old school" games such as Pac-Man, to 4 or more tokens for games of skill, etc. They have a basketball game, a wheel which gives out tickets, beer pong for tickets game, coin push and more. The buy food & drinks, play free games is a pretty sweet deal. The menu is New Orleans themed also, and the drinks will not disappoint. There were 2 employees when I was there, and they handle everything. On a Monday eve, there were about 8 other customers. The place is big, with nice seating areas in front of TVs. Bourbon Street is a Dotty's taverns sibling, and their player's club is aligned with Dotty's. This location has gaming at the bar, which is in front of a number of TVs and the wall 'o prizes. A few machines had a 15x points on all games tag on them, which is a good promo. Bourbon Street has perfected carrying out the chain's theme, with a ceiling of New Orleans related signs, flags, etc, and more stuff on the walls. There are also animated "entertainers" twirling on poles, and a Bourbon Street facade. The place was very clean, including the restroom. Smoking is permitted, but the lack of customers may mean it won't be too bad.

I am in love with most anything they do with pork belly. The beer and cocktail menus are among the best options in town. This is a place where they take pride in your cocktails and spend more time curating their beer menu for one week than most do in ten years. The vibe inside is a friendly and welcoming community that cheers on the home teams and is always willing to strike up conversations with strangers about their beer. Matt and his bar staff will make you feel at home and like a regular in no time. Amy and the serving staff are fun to joke with, make sure your glass is never empty and your belly is always full. Overall, you can't go wrong with 595. Their food is great, the drinks are outstanding and the stuff hits a bases loaded home run every time.

Hidden Gem for a REAL bar & kitchen combo!…read more I came around 7pm for a solo adventure dinner & was well pleased! Off the bat, the ambiance is decorated and fun! The bar was 90% full and while I was struggling to see if there was a single seat welcoming for me to sit, the bartender unfortunately didn't welcome me or help me in my decision on where to sit. I did find a cute seat in the main seating area and was welcomed graciously by Lexi! Since I was new to the area and the location I asked what she preferred between 2 food items & 2 drinks & her recommendations were definitely not regrettable!! Fun Fact, the kitchen is more Vietnamese based, so their specials are super delicious, vibrant and new day to day! Things you wouldn't think to be good at a bar, are in fact GOOD. As I ate, the place got busier, but what i loved was that Lexi was just as attentive with me as when I arrived. Prices aren't bad either, no regrets here!!

Hey fellow Yelpers! This was my first time in Vegas and my first time visiting Sierra Gold. I…read moreusually have great experiences in most places and give good reviews, but this is a bad review I had to write due to having a bad experience. The food was decent, but the service was really bad, like really bad! Customer Service: The staff was okay. My friends and I went to Sierra Gold around late lunch/early dinner time. The restaurant was honestly really dead, with a few other customers. We were probably the biggest group that went to the restaurant at the time. The food took a while to come, the servers gave one of my friends food earlier than what she wanted, the servers took so long to get us to go boxes that one of my other friends literally went to the bar to get us some. Food/Drinks: Sierra Gold had a good variety of food & drink selections. I ordered the baked soft pretzel bites as my appetizer, and I had pub classics sliders with a side of tater tots. The portion of the pretzel and cheese was huge, so one order is definitely good for at least 2 people. I did appreciate the fact that they had a variety of potatoes as your side, such as the choice of sea salt fries, twister fries, or golden tots. Overall Experience: Overall, I had an okay experience at Sierra Gold. The food and drinks were the best thing about the visit. The service, on the other hand, is not so much, unfortunately. I'm not sure how Sierra Gold can improve as a restaurant & business. Maybe having the servers be more attentive to their customers, especially when it is dead? I hope this review helps Sierra Gold & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!
