I've heard of and have gone to many of the Flowing Tide locations in Northern Nevada, mostly Reno, so I decided to come here to this location with a work friend for lunch. We both had fish and chips on our brains, and I know Flowing Tide in the north has yummy fish and chips, so I was hoping this Vegas location would too. The menus for all the locations in both Northern and Southern Nevada are posted online. This location was easy to find, Vegas is so easy to get around, everything is all laid out on a grid, with big throughfares every one mile. We just got on Trop as the locals call it, till we got to Decater and go a little bit and there we are. The place is open 24 hrs. like a lot of things in Vegas. Parking is easy and we go right in. Looking at the menu, I see prices are higher by a few bucks per item and I see more upscale items on the menu that we don't have in the north, like crab cakes! I saw the fish and chips, so that's what we got. I really don't care for coleslaw in general, so I got mine with double fries instead and my friend likes coleslaw and is cutting carbs, so she got double coleslaw and no fries. The order comes with 4 nice pieces of crispy deep fried fish, along with malt vinegar of course. The fish was super hot and tasty seasoned at the table with salt and malt vinegar. I was taught that was the British way to do fish and chips, tarter and catsup is the American way! If I'm down here in Vegas again, I'll have to give some of these more upscale items a try, unless Flowing Tide decides to bring them to Reno locations. read more

Serious value and flavor at this spot! Got this Peppermint Schnapps like drink was only $7 and tasted perfectly balanced. Was shocked at the quality of the liquor combined with the other additions. Legit peppermint candies grinded up inside. Nachos were hefty and tasted perfect. Cheese was nicely melted and had a great sharp cheddar flavor. So many nachos have globs of flavorless goop. Good service despite only having one server. She did the best she could. Fast service and food didn't take long to come out. The wings were delicious! Not greasy at all. Enough sauce and meat on the bones. My ahi tuna was good but the dressing it comes with was too sweet. Even my fork got a lil sticky. Next time I'll have to order it on the side. I wish I would have taken a picture. Sometimes pictures just don't do food justice though. I had a hurricane, which is big shrimp, both red and green bell pepper and a touch of chipotle seasoning for the spice which is out of this world tasteful over a bed of noodles fettuccine I believe . I have not once have I ever had bad service and I have been coming here for three years now. Ambience is comfortable outdoor setting or indoor if you want to gamble but I love sitting outside, especially on wonderful nights because you overlook Vegas.. if I did not have people sitting in front of me, I would have licked my plate, but that's embarrassing so I didn't. read more

This place is cool. People should know that if you pay money for Touchtunes your songs will get cut off if there's a Golden Knights game on. They need a sign that warns you. Bartender seemed to take it personally when I complained. I wasn't blaming the staff. It's obviously a lack of concern of the owners, which is no surprise whatsoever. Touchtunes is expensive to begin with. If the owners of this establishment cared about their employees they wouldn't subject them to this situation where they have to deal with legitimate complaints from customers. read more

Went there for Saint Patrick's Day since McMillan's was too full. Ordered nachos and replaced it with potato wedges for imitation Irish nachos. wings were good and drinks are pretty cheap. Good place for something casual. Only downside was the cigarette smoke when you're trying to eat. But you can go to the corner tables and it's fine sitting there. read more

Great night at the Detroit Lions fans bar, during the play offs. They had it decorated in full Lions swag. Although the place was packed, the service was great. The food came out quick and hot. Tried the buffalo chicken salad as a wrap with a spinach tortilla. If you order breakfast you get a complimentary mimosa with your meal. If you order water, you get a water bottle (not a glass of water). They have an outdoor patio, they allow pets inside and on the patio. The buffalo chicken wrap came with fries, side of ranch and a pickle and was delish. I would say the food here is pretty good, the mimosas are strong and the ambiance is sports bar with loud fans cheering on their team. read more

Wanted to watch some Monday night football and try a new pub so we ended up here! The bar was only about 10 minutes from the house so that was great! Plenty of parking and seating. The game was the Las Vegas Raiders vs. Detroit Lions and this bar ended up having a ton of Lions fans! Great atmosphere all the workers were very friendly and checked on us often! We arrived just in time to get some happy hour drinks before it ended at 6pm. Ordered some food as well and my burger was so much better than expected and the sweet potato fries were delicious! They gave us some free raffle tickets for being there and did drawings every quarter of the game for cool little prizes. The place was packed by halftime and definitely a cool vibe here watching the game with nobody getting aggressive if your cheering for the other team. This is a great place for drinking and hanging out. To be blunt, this is the second time they conveniently forgot about me gambling $100 or more in their machines to take off any drinks whatsoever. This is even after offering me their players card when inwas playing. Their drinks are luckily cheap enough to make up for it but still worth highlighting. I've been to this location several times! It's always consistent! Good food and service. I have had burgers, the club sandwich, wings and the fish and chips. All delicious. The beer is priced fairly for the location. It's roughly a 15 minute Uber ride from the strip, maybe less. read more

I am from Reno and I used leave here in Vegas, one bar I used to visit back the day was Billy's West and now the Flowing Tide has a bar in the same building. So I stop by for a beer ad it was nice, just like the ones in Reno/Sparks. Good place! read more

FTP is easily the best pub in the city . The Ambiance is perfect and the service is equally amazing. The food is incredible . The jukebox is always playing my jams . Keno and blackjack seems to love me there. Loren Monet is the stand out . She always has a great attitude and her personality is incredible . Hello Hello! What an amazing night at Flowing Tide. I first want to give a huge shout out to Loren who helped create an amazing surprise for my wife's bday. Loren and her team of beautiful and awesome ladies helped me put together a very fun gathering for my wife's bday. They put in the effort to keep it a surprise while all our friends arrived for a fun night. We played darts, ate tons of food, and drank several delicious drinks. My wife fell in love with the beautiful holiday decorations that really outshined last year's holiday decorations..sorry ‍ you know I keep it real. On that note..we have been coming to FT for a few years now and our go-to dishes are the wings with honey garlic sauce and the Cabo wrap. This evening, we ordered the wings (because they are THE BEST) but we got to try the fish and chips, seafood pasta, and a delicious salad that was F***ing AMAZING! My friends weren't the biggest fan of the fish and chips..they weren't seasoned enough but we found ALL the seasoning on the fries still...not bad enough to send back but you know I share it all. After we ate good, we topped the night off with playing some darts and taking selfies with the awesome decorations. Great place to come eat good food with big or small groups of people, enjoy an Amazing team of BEAUTIFUL ladies, gamble, listen to awesome music, play darts and pool (which was not working at the time). I went just for the Lions comradery! It was a good time watching the Lions game with a bar full of fans! The nachos were not as good as I expected. The ground beef was a little off. Love their outdoor seating area! It's super nice, clean, and well maintained. We stopped in for drinks and apps but unfortunately their blender or whatever it is that makes their frozen slushy drinks was still not working and it's been out of service for what feels like forever. While that might seem petty, those are some of the best drinks they make. Service is always on point and this time was no different. Our server was super nice and made great suggestions for drinks. The edamame is really good and so is their Buffalo style cauliflower. I hope the next time we come by they have their blending matching up and running. read more

As a chicken connoisseur, it's my job to judge a restaurant's enter existence based on the quality of their chicken wings. Today I had the opportunity to try the spot next door to my new office, the Flowing Tide Pub. Truthfully they had me with the pirate theme already and then Loren locked me in further with her amazing customers service by phone when I placed the order and in person when I picked it up. Let's get into it though. I ordered the Nitro flavor wings. They had a Nitro XXX which was spicier but I've got nothing to prove. I'm here for the flavor, not the heat... which often doesn't bug me. The wings are easy a 5-star banger. Cooked properly, evenly seasoned and actually spicy. Most wing spots talk a gang of mess about their levels of spice but FTP came with it on their second spiciest flavor. I'm low key good right here on Nitro but there will be a day where Nitro XXX comes into my world. How does a chicken wing dish get an unofficial 6th star? The ranch dressing needs to be on point, which is was drippy and flavorful, the mark of good bar quality ranch! I totally think I found my new lunch/happy hour spot! read more

Just picked up Joe from the airport. We were hungry. I had seen this place on Yelp, so I was excited to try it. I should have known better, but the smoke got to me. I forget that smoking is still allowed in some places. Our server was incredibly nice, but she refused to fill up our iced tea glasses all the way. She'd add a few drops, at a time, but leave nearly 2 inches empty. These aren't big glasses to begin with, so it was a little frustrating. Joe ordered some sliders. He couldn't finish them all. The fried potatoes looked fantastic. (He ate all of those!) I asked for the nachos. I kinda expected the nuclear yellow cheese goo, but it was melted real cheese. The ground meat on the nachos had good flavor, if a little dry. I made a decent dent into the big plate. Lots of sports programming on the TVs. Some decent music playing, not too loud. Would I go back? I would probably go back, but maybe towards the end of the night, so I don't walk around the rest of the day reeking of smoke. read more

This is such a fantastic local pub! They've got a great 24 hr menu, plenty of machines to play on, an awesome view of the strip and a good variety of revolving beers! They have the best French Fries I've ever had! They're like a Curly Streak Fry - combine with the BBQ Burger and you've got one of the best burger combos in town! We found this spot during a recent trip to Vegas, it was near the place we stayed at and we decided to give it try. Needless to say, we came back 3x! First off the beers were super cold , staff were very friendly and made us welcome, and most of all... the food was awesome. We got to try breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a change in staffs, but the service remained excellent as the first time. I lucked out and got to try St. Patrick's Day special, it was delicious and it hit the spot. We also tried steak sandwich, Reuben sandwich, and for breakfast the French toast and Tide combos were spot on good, the mimosa is a plus for sure. We typically go to Village pub but decided to try Flowing Tide. Everything was superior from our server, menu options, prices, food quality, gambling & overall vibe. The dining area has a fantastic view of the strip. The hollandaise sauce was AMAZING! The English muffins were super tasty; it was buttered & toast before assembling the eggs bene dish. So thankful the egg dishes come with hashbrown as other places around town charge separate side dish fee for those items. AND HUGE BONUS, breakfast entrees come with a glass of champagne!!! The bacon & blue cheese burger was delicious. We added extra bacon, totally worth it. The grill on the burger was a perfect char on the edges. And they use really lettuce, nice quality green leaf instead of the normal pub iceberg junk. Our server was super kind & very attentive.
