I called freedom powersports a week ago in the morning and asked if they were still doing service, and if they could service my motorcycle. The guy on the phone says sure come on down we're open all day. So I rode 40 minutes there and when I arrived they said that they were no longer doing service because of the Coronavirus. But there was no compensation, there was speaking to a manager to see if there was anything else that could be done, or anyone else in town that could help me, basically move your bike cuz it's in the way. So ultimately just sorry you had to drive 40 minutes but we're not going to service your bike, unless you want to leave it with us until the coronavirus is over, which was an ignorant suggestion.

You wouldn't think that a grubby little shop surrounded by Korean knock-off stores would thrill me so much, but indeed, this place has provided me with an adorable affordable little scooter AND great service to boot. Keep in mind, they only sell Chinese scooter models with low power, but if that's what you're looking for (like me), then this is your place. I've been looking for a scooter for months. Motorcycles might be big in Texas, but scooters are harder to find. This little semi-ghetto shop on Harry Hines came to my rescue with an awesome price on a little Roketa scooter. I found them through craigslist, and you might want to ask them if you can get the craigslist special price, because it is indeed special. They don't have an extensive selection, but they have Roketa models that are 50cc and 150cc in multiple colors. The salesman was surprisingly friendly considering the surroundings, and after we made our purchase he sent us to their warehouse where we picked up our scooter from an equally jocular Indian salesman and his sidekick, who looked like he was a bouncer for the mafia. Seriously, you would never expect such good service in such a setting, but it was. Did I mention the price was amazing?

Next day I see more advertisements and reach out on their advertisement links. Sales person calls me 2 days later and informs they have 2 Seadoo like the ones I want to purchase, he sends photos. I ask how many hours they have and final price - no answer then I ask again and I get a response they he was busy on a lunch break and would get back to me. I ping him again and nothing. Well, no tractor or implements delivered, no phone call to explain what the status is. I guess I will have to call them back again. Their communication seems horrible from the other comments I have read. I guess I am getting to experience that as well. I doubt I will buy here again, unless it is an emergency or they tell me they have everything in stock and I can take with me the same day. Over a month they have called once to ask if they could tear it down to see what was going on, I gave them permission to do so, 2 weeks later they call ask the same thing and it was the same guy I already gave permission, and he didn't even remember talking to me, so that means to me they didn't touch it for 2 weeks! Ordered online with SeaDoo; received a cover for the more common PWC that does not have the suspension system. I went into the store and asked for assistance in the return or exchange process for a $250 cover. They said they could not help me. Is this where I will buy my next SeaDoo; I think NOT! Even Starbucks does a better job at combining Sales and Customer Service.

I was willing to pay 100% MSRP, + Tax, + Title & Registration, AND full Freight and Prep/Assembly. Once I dissected the numbers, they marked up the Freight and Prep/Assembly $2,000 (per SeaDoo) more than 4 other Sea-Doo dealers I spoke with. I was going to buy 2 units today for $29,000 out the door. They would not sell them to me. They marked up the units to $33,200. That's $4,200 elevated, even after paying full MSRP. The extra $4200 was all built into their Freight and Prep/Assembly. If FRT from Sea-Doo is $475 for one dealer, it's the same for every dealership within 40 miles. I feel like my time was wasted. They literally turned me away rather than sell without an inflated Freight and Assembly profit.
