Hot and sour soup
Alex K.

Food was ok. Nothing to write home to mom about. Hot and sour soup was thick and comes only in 1 large size. Pu pu platter was ok. The boneless ribs were my favorite.

Pretty good Boston style Chinese food. It's like the stuff I ate in summer time as a kid when I visited. Very fresh and tasty.

Hands down best fast food Chinese spot. I've order multiple times from here and always serve the freshest food. Never soggy, never old, and service always on time.

General Tso's Chicken

Always super friendly when you come in to pick up your food. Great neighborhood place and it's super fast. The new sauce for General Tso's Chicken is really good!

Beef and broccoli with pork fried rice and appetizer (chicken wing) 5 stars!!

Best pu pu platter out there. They give you a lot and it is always hot and fresh at a more than generous price. It can feed a family of 5.

I think this might be the best Chinese food in West Roxbury. Their egg rolls are my favorite, and their crab rangoon's too.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am a proud UMASS Amherst alumnus (class of '86) and a parent…read moreof two alums. So...I may be a bit biased. With that said, I was delighted when the University purchased the Mount Ida campus, creating a UMASS Amherst outpost in the eastern part of the state (in which the majority of alumni reside and work.) This campus is truly a gem and I know that plans are in the works as to how to absorb and integrate the campus into the UMASS system. In the meantime, the Campus Center and its Dining Commons are open to alumni -- and open to the general public. For seven straight years UMASS Dining has been recognized as the top college food service in the country. I can say from personal experience that the food on the flagship campus is, in fact, superb. (It is also light years away from what I experienced back in the day.) A similar, but more limited version of the University's award-winning food is served on the Mount Ida campus (it is not quite of the same scope as the Amherst campus, but I expect it will get there when the campus fully realizes its potential.) The food that it presents is fresh, high quality, tasty, and very reasonably priced. There are daily hot food offerings, and always the standard fare of pizza, chicken tenders, sandwiches, salad and fruit bar, 1-2 daily soup offerings. Often diners will find stations offering omelets, stir fry, falafel, and others. Additionally, those who have allergies or other dietary requirements will have no trouble finding choices, and the friendly staff is happy to help accommodate diners' wishes. On a number of occasions they offer special meals and stations which have included a chicken wing bar (excellent!), baked potato bar, and a pho station (which was truly outstanding!), among others. The Dining Commons (located in the Campus Center) is a clean, spacious, and beautiful facility that is perfect to enjoy a quiet meal or to meet clients, colleagues, or others for coffee. Go UMASS!!

Wow - what a great deal. I ordered the 2 Sandwich Special which comes with 2 chicken sandwiches of…read moreyour choice and then either fries, sweet potato fries, or onion rings, all for just $16.95! Separately, each sandwich is around $10 and onion rings are $6.50, so the combo is a ridiculous deal. The onion rings are also a HUGE bag so definitely worth the money. For my 2 sandwiches, I got the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich and Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich and both were great. The fried chicken here doesn't really feel like fast food - it feels like real chicken meat that isn't greasy at all. The seasoning is good and the sauces are great too. Even the buns felt like good quality! Of the two sandwiches, I preferred the Honey Kluck Grilled Sandwich but both were top tier. The honey sandwich had honey mustard sauce and veggies with a nicely grilled piece of chicken on it. The balance of flavors and fresh veggies with the flavorful chicken was just perfect. 5/5 for sure. The Tang-Go Kluck Sandwich was also very good with a tangy sauce coupled with cheese and pickles. The fried chicken on this was crispy and full of flavor without feeling unhealthy. I would have liked a few more veggies on here, but it was still a solid sandwich. The onion rings were SO CRISPY too. And the bag was huge - probably at least a full onion. The fact that if you ordered 2 sandwiches and onion rings separately, it would cost about $26 but the combo is only around $17 is great value. The food doesn't feel like fast food, and I was completely full after eating the meal. 5/5 would definitely return!

We ordered a bucket of drumsticks in honey bbq sauce and wings in soy garlic. They were packed with rich and bold flavors. Most importantly, it was juicy! The Mac and Cheese was creamy and cheesy.
