Stopped in for a friends birthday party and had a good time! They had a table of food filled with pretzel bites, an assortment of tacos and pizza. The food was fantastic! They kept the food table stocked and clean, which was nice. As for drinks, we tried the raspberry iced tea. They were very tasty and strong! If you like a good strong drink then this is the drink for you! One will do the job and two well, it will definitely make you happy! The atmosphere is like an upscale pub with a cozy feel. The dining room and bar were clean and the service was great! I'd recommend trying the tacos, I can't pick a favorite because they were all good! Went here for lunch with a group of 8 co-workers and they accommodated is very well. The location has a great atmosphere inside, despite being in a small shopping plaza. You can tell the staff here is quirky/funny with all the cool notes on their chalkboards! E.g. for their drinks list, they had many beers and 1 Prosecco listed. The beers had their ABV %s listed while the Prosecco had 100% bubbly listed. I cracked up . I will return for lunch another time to try more of the menu! The lunch offerings range from salads, to sandwiches, to burgers at lunch. Based on all the meals that my coworkers and I got, I can assure you that everything on the menu looks and tastes amazing. The food at this restaurant is delicious. I've been here many times. This visit I ordered the braised short ribs and the barktober beer. And, for dessert the bacon baklava (pictured below). Another time, I ordered the brisket sandwich and the Brussel sprouts. carryout was fast and easy. I paid over the phone and picked up the good within 15-20 minutes. Met some friends for brunch. Decided to try the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, something new and different. $14 for 3 underwhelming, burned on the bottom pancakes. They were also pretty cheap with the berry topping, as you can see. They were also served to me with syrup already poured all over them, which I should have been able to do myself. A friend ordered the chicken and waffles and the coating on the chicken was bland, no taste. Disappointed, won't go back for brunch. Service was good and attentive though. read more

My daughter made reservations for a good night of fun and food. The food was up there with some of the worse food I've had at a restaurant. The fish was saturated with oil, French fries were awful, cole slaw was spoiled. The chicken on my Caesar salad was like rubber. ( sent it back because a few of us couldn't cut the chicken on it, that cost an extra $7). Macaroni and cheese was cheaply made. The rice on the tofu salad was one big glob of paste, with only one piece of tofu. If your paying for atmosphere, you got it. I'm not from the area so I won't ever come back. And I can assure you, when I visit again, she will not be bringing me there. Nor will she or her boys be back. For the price you charge, you'd better get a grip. Too much good competition out there. I hate to post negative reviews especially when I've always loved this place. This has always been our top two places for brunch until our recent visit. They totally changed the brunch menu and raised the prices. I can understand the higher prices, but the food choices aren't that great compared to what they used to offer. My husband and I both got just a regular breakfast. The over easy eggs came over hard with browned whites. The bacon was so overly smoky that we couldn't even eat it. Our hands smelled like smoke all day. The potatoes weren't as good as how they used to be, but the sour dough toast was pretty good. I'm so disappointed in our breakfast and the few new choices. Hope that the summer brings back the old favorites. read more

Willing to try it again due to many good things I've heard about Pub Frato but I think the Nashville chicken is a frozen patty with spicy breading and the Mac n Cheese was so old the cheese was coagulating. Why is "buffalo chicken" and "Nashville chicken" the same thing? The hot pretzel was the best thing. Oh, the fries are pretty good so that does make me want to try a burger. read more

Stopped in Concord to spend the night on the way a friends. Pub Frato was close to the hotel. It was a Saturday night and there was a good crowd there, seemed mostly to be locals, the atmosphere there was good. Good menu selection for dinner, I had a smoked brisket patty melt and my daughter had a roasted cauliflower steak. Both were good. Didn't have to wait long for the food. There's a good draft beer selection. We sat at the bar, bartenders were pleasant and attentive. The restaurant was clean and everyone there seemed pleasant. My 4 star rating was due to the service was slow and we had to constantly ask for silverware, napkins, plates, and water. I know there is a staff shortage, but the service looks very disorganized. So, I just had an amazing experience dining here this evening. It all starts with the service. Our bartender, Paulie, was awesome! Decided to grab a bite to eat and choose one of our favs, Pub Frato. Was able to get a table for four on a busy Saturday night. Had to wait just a few minutes for the table to be set but was not in any hurry. Our dinner partners arrived just as the table was ready. Sat down and ordered our drinks. If you're looking for a classic Bloddy Mary, you will not be disappointed. Was thinking about a second, but after the holidays thought better of it. Now the meals. Two went for their usual, Pub Burger, which was perfect. Another went with his fav, tacos. Again perfection. Me, I did a change up. Switched from the Pub Burger to the Grilled Cheese BLT. Let me tell you in one word, #OMG! Ok that's three but you get the point. Grilled to perfection sourdough bread, with Middlefield Swiss cheese; American cheese; Applewood bacon; tomato marmalade and arugla. Another great sandwich to decide about. A great Lake County spot and easy to find just south of I-90 and RT 44 in Concord Twp. Don't delay visit ASAP!! read more

We had a reservation for 2 on a Saturday evening at 6:00 and after a short wait were seated. Our server came buy after a few minutes and took our drink order. While it took a while to get our drinks, both cocktails were good. We ordered the Short rib Pierogies app and again, after a moderate wait, received our food. The pierogies were well presented and were quite good. Unfortunately that is where the experience went downhill. We ordered the Mac N Cheese with added short rib and the Pork Schnitzel which was to be served with "warm German potato salad" for our dinners. After quite a wait we received our food and while the short rib meat on top of the mac n cheese was hot, the mac n cheese underneath was cold - like almost refrigerated cold. How does that get plated and not noticed? As far as the Schnitzel, it was a large portion and quite good however, what was served with it was by no means "warm German Potato salad". German Potato salad is traditionally prepared in a warm and almost "sweet and sour" vinegar based dressing with bacon and onion. What was passed off instead was a plate of home fries with what I'm guessing was a few pickled vegetables of some sort tossed on. I get the idea of artistic expression and making a dish "your own" but not at the expense of abandoning the core of a dish - particularly an ethnic staple. Our server politely took the cold mac and cheese back and we ordered another order of Pierogies to replace that (since it was known good). This time, they came out luke warm at best. As far as the fake German potato salad, in speaking with the manger on duty she didn't really seem to understand the issue and had no answer or any resolution. In the end, we were credited for the cold mac that was sent back (as would be expected), and given essentially $4 off our tab for the Schnitzel dish. Given the wait times, poor execution in the kitchen (delivering cold food and missing the mark big time on another), and the blasé' response of the manager, we won't be back. read more

The service here is great, although one of my coffee cups was dirty which was the only negative thing about this place. The soup was delicious and the grilled cheese blt was tasty but one downside is it seemed to be all bread. We stopped here on our way back to Michigan after searching for a restaurant online. What a great find! We had the truffle fries as an appetizer; they were crisp and had awesome flavor. We had the shrimp tacos with pirogies and chicken tacos with Caesar salad. The shrimp tacos were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breading. The pirogies were a generous potion and fried to perfection - served with onions on top. The tacos were "Nashville hot" with a delicious smoky taste (warming - these do have a kick!). The side Caesar was also a generous portion with just the right amount of dressing. Andrea was our server and took excellent care of us - very attentive and super friendly. We enjoyed our food so much we got a bread pudding to go! Highly recommend you check this place out - you won't be disappointed. read more

Great find! We happened to find this hidden gem as we were driving through on a Friday night. The moment we stepped into the place we were hooked. Everything about this place was top-notch. The decor was shabby chic/metro pub. Our waitress, Kate, was fantastic!! We actually asked if she was the owner! Let's not forget to mention the food... the quinoa plate was amazing!!! Unique blend of arugula, quinoa, and seasonal vegetables- we added salmon to one and chicken to the other and both were prepared to perfection. Serving sizes were plenty big for 2 adults to share. We topped it off with the a few Fat Tires - as they were $3 and you got to keep the glasses. Too bad we were just passing through- we would frequent this place often if we lived nearby. read more

We were just driving around trying to find a place for dinner and a few drinks this weekend and stumbled upon Pub Frato... I am so glad we did! Walking in, I immediately liked the cool vibe that the place gave off; it seemed like it could easily be picked up and moved to Tremont and fit in perfectly. There were no tables available right away, but we ordered drinks at the bar and only had to wait about 10 minutes before we were seated, so that was no problem at all! As an appetizer, we ordered the truffle fries-yum! The garlic aoli stole the show on this dish. My entree was amazing! I had the macaroni and cheese which was made with Gruyere and cheddar cheeses and topped with herb cracker crumbs. It was cheesy, gooey, and perfect! The portion size is HUGE (yay leftovers!), and I was definitely happy with what I ordered. My boyfriend ordered the flat iron steak, and his plate came out looking gorgeous; the presentation was worthy of any "fancy" restaurant. He was pleasantly surprised since he isn't the biggest fan of "hip place," preferring to go into tried and true favorites. He licked his plate clean... not even a kernel of the corn succotash was left in the red wine reduction swirled around the plate. There is a huge selection of beers and a fun cocktail list, so this would be a fun place to stop for just a couple of drinks too! Something else to note that I thought was unique is that they have a "communal table" so that smaller parties can sit together and meet others in the area... kind of a fun idea! We stopped in here with some friends unbeknownst to us they had already had dinner, therefore my wife and I had to grab something to eat while they were drinking. However the evening started with us at the bar, waiting for the table which is fine with me. I started out with two cousins draft beer which must be somewhere around 50% alcohol because they hit me like a rock! The bartender was able to transfer our tab over to the table which is not a common practice but I tip to the bartender anyway. Once we got your table we have 3 or 4 more beers and ended up ordering some light snacks. After all this place is not known for large heavy meals and the whole light snack motif is apparent. Now I have been to bars before that had a Tater Tot obsession and when you order tater tots they serve you mountains of tater tots topped with every bit of cheese and bacon it seems Northeast Ohio has to offer. However when we ordered tater tots here what we got was much different than what I was expecting. What we received, although delicious, was five tater tots. 5. The tater tots were just a little larger than normal and they appeared to be handmade and came with a couple different dipping sauces. However I wish the menu would have said hey you going to get just five tater tots with this. It was easily remedied by ordering another round of tater tots, but I just kind of wish they would have disclosed that it was not your normal Northeast Ohio mountain of tater tots. Our server was attentive, easy to flag down, table was cleaned off, and the check was brought promptly when we when we asked for it. Overall it was a really enjoyable night but I think they are too maybe include some pictures in their menu. read more

What a wonderful surprise this place is! We've been here twice now. My husband and initially I stopped in as a place to eat on the way to our destination. The atmosphere is loud, but the volume is a friendly, "neighborhood-y" chatter. Between both visits, we had the pierogies, arugula salad, peanut butter & jelly popcorn, and tacos (fish and veggie). We would recommend every single dish. Looks as though they have a "popcorn of the day" so it's not PB&J all the time. The service is attentive. The only thing I would wonder about is if they would open up that second story for more tables! P.S. Stopped on a road trip based on Yelp reviews. Excellent beer selection and even better food. The Short Rib Perogies app was delish with a touch of horseradish for tang. Got the "winter caprese" salad which is by definition, impossible. But the creamy burrata made up for the winter in Ohio tomatoes. And I added salmon. When the server asked how I wanted the salmon cooked, I said medium. Fully expected it to come out cooked well as most places ask how you want salmon cooked then promptly ignore it. It was actually medium and perfectly pan seared on the outside. My kids got kids cheeseburgers which were full size adult burgers with a huge side of fries or Mac n cheese.
