Reuben sandwich with house made chips!
    Sherry T.

Went to Public House today. Had a reuben and my brother in law had a burger with pineapple on it. He LOVED the burger. Will have to try it next visit. The reuben was good but I like a lot more thousand island dressing on mine. So near perfect review. Definitely a friendly staff and neighborhood bar with great and diverse choices for meals. Full bar offerings.

Classic neighborhood bar in Cleveland that's been at kamm's corner for many many years. It has craft beers as well as regular beers available and a selection of soft drinks. They have great regular food and their Dublin onion soup is wonderful very tasty broth, with not a overabundance of onions croutons and cheese. I had their club sandwich which is great and friends had a hotdog which they said was great another had the French tip which they really enjoyed. A very pleasant nice place you can come by yourself and sit at the bar for a nice lunch or bring several people with you for a nice group lunch. Parking is pretty available in the back for lunch and it's a fairly easy in and out kind of place.

This is a pretty good spot in the heart of Kamm's Corners. The staff was very friendly and hard working. This place has a good atmosphere and seems like the crowd was mostly regulars which is cool. I stopped in to meet with some friends for the Browns home opener so this place was packed! They don't have a lot to choose from on draft but I was able to find something. They have a good sized menu and from what I here the food is really good. I didn't have anything to eat this time but I plan to try something on my next visit. One cool thing they do for Browns games is they have squares available for each game and also each game you can fill out a card for a free raffle and this game they raffled of for some Browns related prizes but at the end of the season they take all the card from every week and give away a cruise. I definitely will be stopping in again!

Perch and fries. Was larger than it looks.

My group were supposed to go to Habesha Ethiopian restaurant for dinner and book club but they were closed so we found ourselves at PJ's Irish Pub. AMBIANCE -- Dimmer light but not too dark inside. Typical, traditional bar look and feel. Lots of booth tables plus a center bar area with chairs around it. DRINKS -- I don't drink alcohol so I can't comment on their drink offerings but considering that this is an Irish Pub, they must have lots of options to choose from such as beer. FOOD -- Their menu is large with dishes such as pot pie, tacos, meatloaf, etc. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I just ordered 2 beef tacos that came with tomatoes but I forgot to ask for it to come without cheese. So, I had to remove the shredded cheese from it. There was a lot of cheese on the tacos too. The tacos were fine - simple enough and the beef tasted just right. This pub is probably more known for their drinks but I may be wrong. Everyone on my table seemed to enjoy their dinner. I noticed someone ordered meatloaf, another for a chicken pot pie, another had a big plate of broccoli with something else (the broccoli looked tasty), and so on. SERVICE (5/5) -- our group was treated well. We were greeted upon walking in plus our server took our orders at a reasonable time. PARKING -- Not the best like most places in the area because it is street parking only but I was very lucky to find a street parking spot right in the front of the pub. You can probably park at the shopping district parking lot across the street where a gas station is located. Overall, although I wasn't expecting to even visit PJ McIntyre's Irish Pub on that cold January evening, it was a nice enough experience (mostly FUN because of the book club group rather than the food). The beef tacos that I ordered were fine and a fair price (around $6.50 total). I most likely won't be back since I don't drink alcohol and I hardly visit pubs or bars for dinner. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 11/250 total reviews in 2026 - 852 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 February 2026

The Harp... all I can say is WOW -- a hidden gem!…read more I've literally lived on the west side, right down the street, and never tried The Harp. Me and my babe were riding down Route 2 talking about wanting something good and different, and he was like, "You wanna try The Harp?" I said you know what... let's do it! We always thought it was super upscale -- whole time we were wrong... but in the BEST way. The vibe is nice, cozy, and welcoming, and the service? On point. Now let's get to the FOOD. Because baby... that's what we came for I was scrolling the menu and got hype seeing vegan options (you already know that warms my heart ). I kept eyeing the vegetarian boxty -- an Irish potato pancake -- something different. I was like hmm... maybe. Then I switched it up and said nah, I'm getting the fried green tomato wrap BUT WAIT. The waiter walked past with a plate that smelled SO good it literally stopped me mid-thought. I'm like hold on... what IS that?! She said, "That's the salmon boxty." Me and my babe looked at each other like... yeahhh we both thinking the same thing He ordered the steak boxty, and I got the vegetarian boxty. Listen... 10/10. MUST TRY AGAIN. Huge portions, flavorful, and DIFFERENT in the best way. That Irish potato pancake was loaded with sautéed mushrooms, zucchini, squash, spinach, onions, and carrots, all topped with a creamy spinach sauce. Not dry, not skimpy -- just straight up delicious. And the price? I definitely appreciated that too. The drink menu looked good -- I didn't indulge, but I did sip his "Clair Cooler" and babyyyy... nice, strong, and worth it Safe to say... we'll be back again and again

She even swayed me to stray from my sandwich hunt, and try their pasta special (oh my goodness this was the most delicious pasta I have ever had). You won't even be able to stand. As for my other visit, it was on a Friday night. A nice sized crowd, full bar. Sports game on the television. A nice atmosphere for a neighborhood bar. A great touch is the 1 pinball machine in the corner. Older game but it does take up something to do with friends. As with service we were told that the bar is extremely behind by a rude bartender named Meg. You can tell she was overwhelmed and just seemed to be having a rough day. A few minutes later we were told by staff that the kitchen was now closed. Pretty strange as the menu is mainly all bar served fried food or burgers etc. The bartender also announced that they were out of fish as well. I continued to order drinks, they were cold and tasted as advertised. About an hour or so later , the kitchen was then re opened when the bar was less crowded. I order a dozen wings, garlic Parmesan with ranch. The wings were real solid. Nice and crispy and the garlic and parm combo was just enough. The basket of fries we got were average fries. Not crispy, nor salty but atleast they were hot. The prices were about average, no complaints about that. Overall, the bar does not seem to handle stress or large crowds very well. My wings were good, fries were average like I said. My friends attend this bar often and did tell me that this bar is not like this usually. May have been a rough day. I assume I will be back again, I wouldn't pick this place to go to but the location is close enough to the area we hang out. Not so much of any certain type of theme at the bar but I did notice the staff recognize many patrons by name so it will continue to be the neighborhood bar for many. Overall a 6.7 out of 10.

The experience was very unsatisfactory, especially since my elderly mother and I were out with friends, and the whole thing was embarrassing. My mom ordered the Cod dinner. She requested to have green beans instead of fries. The server Allyson H said that would be fine and never mentioned any additional charges. As it is, they charge the same 3 dollars for fried and green beans. The fish was overcooked and rubbery, and the coating had no taste. The green beans were almost raw. We mentioned it to the server, who said she could bring another side or she could credit us for the beans on the bill, which is what we decided to go with. My bacon and sprout pizza was ok, but not like the last time I ordered it. Very skimpy toppings, especially the brussel sprouts. When the bill came, we noticed no credit for the beans. In fact, the charge for the fish dinner was $21.50 when it was clearly listed as $19.00. We mentioned it to the server, who made up some kind of crap that made no sense to anyone at our table. It was something about substituting some fish that was more expensive. It was ridiculous. So she comes back with a new receipt, it has the fish listed as $19, and then they took off $1.50 for the uncooked green beans (where they got this figure from, I don't know, as green beans as a side are listed as $3. Shouldn't the credit have then been for $3?!). The final insult to injury was when she told me that I needed to pay cash to avoid the additional 3% fee for using a card. I told her I was using a debit card. She tells me it makes no difference, it would still be a 3% charge. This is AGAINST THE LAW! Merchants are not allowed to charge extra fees for paying with a debit card; it comes straight out of your bank. I have thus reported them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Never once did a manager appear to explain or apologize. They clearly don't care and are getting away with something that is illegal. There is no excuse for ripping people off and serving substandard food. Needless to say, we will never be back!

What sets Parnell's aside from other Irish pubs is that it's pretty classy and sophisticated with dim lighting, nice ambiance, Irish charm, and well curated drink menu with more than just beer. By the way, the beer is really good too! I've been to Parnell's for a wide range of occasions - book club, date nights, and even Irish New Year! All very memorable and pleasant experiences! Parnell's is a cozy bar with limited seating including the bar, high tops, a few tables by the windows, and a small room in the back. On weekends the pub gets very lively and busy. On weekdays you'll usually find more room to roam. It's a great destination to spend your whole evening, have some drinks before or after dinner. No food is served here, but there are so many options within the walking distance (neighborhood is safe to walk in day and night). Genuinely you can't go wrong with any surrounding food choices. Many people come here to socialize, have a beer solo, play board games (bring your own), or spend their time at happy hour. Service is always very pleasant and attentive. It's also important to mention that as a single woman I always feel completely safe in this space. Everyone is welcoming and social! The pub is well known for their beer and whiskey. As far as beer, you'll find a variety here - Guinness of course, and local beers - Harp, Butcher & The Brewer, and Fatheads. Tonight I tried The Repeater Euro Lager from the Butcher & The Brewer ($8 + $0.16 credit card surcharge). It was a very smooth lager. I'm not quite a beer connoisseur, but I always felt that beers here are really good. You can also find flights (whiskey, bourbon, etc), wine, gin, vodka, tequila, and rum. Don't overlook their QR menu (found at the bar) with their special drinks. I had mixed drinks here and can attest to the fact that they were very strong, with high quality liquor, and delicious. I mean it's the quality I'd expect at a swanky speakeasy, not a pub. So it's a huge compliment. You can find their menu here: https://www.parnells.pub/drink or scan QR code at the bar. Parking is available at the lot in the back of the building (free). There is also plenty of street parking. Although watch for any posted parking signs. Most importantly, visit Parnell's for Irish NYE! They celebrate NYE during Dublin time (much earlier than NYE). There's a large festive crowd, countdown, and champagne. It's the most festive NYE I've been to, so full of Irish spirit and spirits! You haven't lived until you celebrated Irish NYE! I recommend visiting Parnell's whether for a casual after work pint (especially if you're close to the location at CWRU or the Clinic), a casual date (it might a little loud but you'll have so much fun), a gathering with friends, or really any occasion. My every experience has been very positive, and I know yours will be too!

I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING.
