Everything worked out for me. I was well taken care by the staff, especially my man Majesty. That's his real name, "Majesty". I get a kick out of saying it every time, like, "Yes, your Majesty", "that is awesome, your Majesty". Seriously, despite some of the other tenants looking a little shady, I've never had any problems here. My belongings were in storage for 6months and when I emptied my unit everything was still clean and undisturbed. They had plenty of carts and a large freight elevator. Very satisfied. Only issue was the vehicle clearance was 10 feet so bring a small truck or you may be unloading on the street. read more

Only reason why I give them a 5 star is because of there employee majesty. When me and my fiancé signed up there this bit** that's was so rude then I found out later I was being over charge. My new friend Majesty assured me of the new rate I have will not change for 6 months and 6 months after he found me another deal and helped me move from one of my storage to another. I always see him with customer that was angry about that ugly bit**, and makes them feel good after resolving there problem! As far as this place it's ur average storage place there parking but when it's full it's might take a little longer to wait so u might want to find parking on mission! read more

There's definitely something shady going on here. I had a room here for two and a half years, storing loads of stuff including a bunch of guitars. About half way into my rental I got a letter saying my room had no lock on it. I certainly never removed it, and I never got an explanation as to why. When I moved out, I found that all my guitar cases had been opened and it was obvious someone had been in there rummaging around. I wrote a letter to their main offices asking for an explanation and an apology, and never heard back. You'd be better off selling your stuff. read more

Ai'ana was very efficient and great to answer my questions. She had a lot of people coming through asking questions but I never felt ignored or neglected the whole time I was there. Please don't rent with this people. Their way to do business is BRUTAL, against consumers. Their website is a big lie. They made me waist whole days trying to sale me a more expensive unit when what I needed it was a 5 by 7.5. Price on the phone was higher than the one on website that's what I prefer to do it by the website . Called them first to make sure they have it available, they said they had more than one, that other locations won't have that size. I paid 2 guys by the hour to fill up a truck with all my stuff and when we where on our way they called me to say they couldn't process more application after 5 pm, that the computer won't allow it, when the website said they were open until at 6 pm . I explained I had the truck full and people doing the work for me in the truck. They asked me to go anyway to se how they could help us. We got there, their computer was working pretty good since it was a lady there making payments. Then they said they didn't have anymore units on the side I needed, so they try to sale me the more expensive one again. We end up leaving the place with nothing more than a waist of work and money. I had units storages in Los Angeles many times. I have never experience such a horrible treatment by any storage place before. DON'T USE THEM!!!! (To Public Storage: I don't appreciate nor have the time to be jerked around by your Daly City staff members!) I submitted a notice to vacate my basement space on 4/6/2019, after seeing that a 1st floor 10x14 space had become available on 4/3/2019. Although I was ready and able to submit payment for the 1st floor reservation when I visited the DC location on 4/6/2019, I was informed by the front desk clerk that needed to wait until 5/1/2019 in order to receive discount on the 1st month rent. When I visited the DC location again on 4/27/2019 to vacate my basement space and to confirm the reservation for the new space, I was informed by another front desk clerk (Bruce) that the 10x14 1st space was no longer available and that the space was given to someone else on 4/5/2019. Needless to say, I was very surprised since I had reserved this space and did not receive a call from Public Storage stating that any additional action or payment was necessary to secure the 1st floor unit. I have rented at DC Public Storage on two occasions and have never such a situation this occur. I have taken my business elsewhere, and highly suggest that other potential and existing customers do the same!!! read more

Never Store anything PLACE HAS A LOT OF CROOKS! Someone stole my valuables and use my identity...two times..First that crook broke in my rented unit and then came back...two incidents of breaking in my locked rented unit and stole more valuables...including one of my porcelain dolls, jewelries....stole passports.. To the owner of this storage place...a lot of people already lost things from your storage place YET you OVERCHARGE HIGHLY ESPECIALLY AFTER SOMEONE BROKE IN MY RENTED UNIT and DID NOT put cameras in your business units...especially the lower unit where I rented. Go ANYPLACE but here to store your stuff. Unprofessional, rude people who work there - and it's shady. They overcharge you, treat you with malice and who knows what they do to your stuff. Storing your things on the sidewalk with a FREE sign is about as secure as this place. But on the street, you'll find more courteous people! read more

FYI: to all customers who is renting here.. 7 storages has been broken into since feb 7th. either its an inside job or the someone one who has a storage there has an access code is the thief.. this is BS.. and when this occurs public storage needs to let all customers know. you may have gotten away but you will eventually get caught. My father passed away 2014 from cancer and alot of the things you stole from my sister was his things. his ashes were stolen out of there. you will reap what you sow read more

No Public Storage is safe. The police said people are targeting them because the lack of security. I was with my friends when they opened their locker and everything of value had been stolen. Check yelp for security. UNPROFESSIONAL and I think the thieves all work there. read more

I'm very impressed with the help I received from the property manager Majesty. He took care of our needs as far as getting us the unit we need and very polite. I've rented from Public Storage before at other sites and majority of the time the staff looked like they didn't want to be there and were unprofessional. Majesty is knowledgeable and seems to like what he does as the customer before me seemed very pleased as well. The parking lot is clean and no lingering trash that's left behind shows that they keep their property is clean. That's a good sign. read more
