It is important that there is available parking outside at all hours, which makes loading and unloading more convenient. Restroom is available during office hours. Cargo elevator to save yourself some muscle power. Security is important, without disclosing the details lets just say I am happy with the security arrangements. Unlike those big corporate franchises, Lisa is a one person management department, which is the best management. She is the one that handles all the administrative work, answers the phone, replies your emails. The rent is acceptable. Give Lisa a call.

I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years but they no longer value my patronage. They not only raised the monthly rent multiple times (which is expected for inflation) but they also discontinued a discount that I had on my unit since they knew I would be a long-term renter. When I tried to negotiate a compromise, all I received back was pretty much a "Don't like it? Then get out." I hate businesses that don't keep their word. Very disappointed how they've become just like any other public storage location. =(

There are so many pros to choosing them: - 10 day grace period for payments which is just unheard of any business allowing this much trust in their customers - The location is tucked away enough where there's never traffic; I rarely ever saw another person going in and out, it really felt like you had the place to yourself to take your time - It's kept so clean!! - My online portal never worked no matter how hard I tried so whenever I needed to make a payment, it was as easy as emailing them to charge my card on file. If renting a space beginning at ~$80, over a few months you will be paying ~$500+ each month. Public Storage does not prorate, so once you have paid for a month, there will be no refund whether you have one day or thirty days left on your space. At this location, there is one flat dolly for use, which was advised by the staff to be upstairs in another unit housing location. I've found the management on this property to be unfriendly. Rent here or any Public Storage at your own risk.

That said, the experience with their corporate office is another story, as I had just called to ask why I still haven't received a refund for November's rent + deposit after ending my lease in October, and it's now December 12th. The woman on the phone was very dismissive and basically didn't want to help at all. Instead, she said that anything that had to do with my lease and/or refund should be discussed with the manager. I tried to explain that I had already spoken to the manager a few times and all he could do is let me know that he would contact billing. Her response was the same: dismissive tone and attitude that made me realize this call with her was pointless. Perhaps it's good that I'm canceling my lease with ready spaces because this isn't the kind of company that I want to work with.

I have been a long time tenant and grew from a 100 sq ft unit to a 2,500 sq ft unit. I have repeatedly reported a broken toilet in the conference room for several months. Despite numerous attempts to contact the property manager via phone, email, and in person, the issue remains unresolved. This lack of attention to critical maintenance concerns poses significant health and safety risks to occupants. It also shows the lack of professionalism and care for the tenants in the property. Property manager is unresponsive to urgent requests. I have made requests for access codes for my employees, pallet rack installations, electricity and forklift certifications. These requests have been consistently ignored, causing significant disruptions to our operations. There is also a complete lack of communication and care. Andre consistently fails to respond to emails and phone calls. When I visit his office, he is often unavailable and claims to be "too busy" to address my concerns and makes it seem as if I am deeply troubling him. Phone calls are consistently redirected to other team members and go unanswered. This lack of communication and transparency is unacceptable and hinders effective property management. I am not sure what he does for months but he is consistently too busy to address any concerns and is in consistent meetings hidden away in his office. It is evident that the property manager prioritizes his own schedule and convenience over the needs of his tenants. His unwillingness to respond to emails and phone calls, and his frequent unavailability in his office, demonstrate a blatant disregard for the importance of tenant satisfaction and the impact his actions have on our businesses. The property manager's lack of responsiveness and disregard for tenant needs have caused significant disruptions to our business operations costing us great financial harm. Delays in addressing maintenance issues, lack of access to necessary resources, and the constant frustration of trying to communicate with him have negatively impacted our productivity and overall satisfaction with the property. I have wasted countless hours of my time attempting to chase this man down to get a response. Given the severity and frequency of these issues, I believe a serious performance review of the property manager is urgently needed. I have effectively escalated the issue to his managers and various other team members in executive level positions and will see if the issue is addressed.

After the first 2-3 months, the lease price increased. Although we were unhappy about the increase, we decided to continue the lease because moving all of our stored items would have been very inconvenient. Another issue was the limited access hours. The storage facility originally closed at 6:00 PM, which was difficult for our schedule. Later, they offered 24-hour access, but with an additional fee. The main reason we decided to move out was the condition of the storage environment. The area is very moist, and we discovered that many of our items had developed mold. Even though we used a lot of moisture absorbers, it did not help. Unfortunately, much of our stored material became damp or damaged. Additionally, we run an event planning business, so access to our equipment is very important. At one point, the storage facility was closed for several days due to renovations without proper notice. The manager insisted that a notice had been sent, but we never received any clear communication about the exact dates of the closure. Because of this, we were unable to access our equipment for work and had to borrow items from others, which caused significant inconvenience. Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating. It felt like the staff did not understand or care about the impact these issues. Due to all of these problems, we are very unhappy with this storage facility and would not recommend it to others.

It should really tell you something that when he showed up with his team on my moving day this time -- during a pandemic defined by prolonged social distancing rules -- it felt like meeting a familiar old friend. When the future is unknown and everything seems extra difficult, the Shamrock team is a true bright spot. They are SO experienced in moving: I admire the sequence of what goes in the truck, which is designed to make the unloading as fast as possible. We worked together to agree on a plan for what would be the most efficient on both ends, but also the team spared no effort in tailoring my experience so I wouldn't be left with a ton of unfinished mini-moves inside the new place (for example, always asking which room the heavy stuff should go in, which actually makes such a HUGE difference after they go). I called Shamrock and told them I was missing a large GUCCI box filled with purses and Matching wallets. I explained to them that the box was in a wardrobe box and packed with pillows along side. I was told they would talk to the 5 movers that were at my home and see if anyone noticed the box!!! Obviously not! I waited a week to hear back from Jose Cervantes and did not file a police report because I was under the impression that someone would admit to taking the box filled with expensive purses and wallets. Finally after 6 emails from me to Kimberly the assistant asking for a response, she responded that the trucks had surveillance cameras and nothing showed a White GUCCI box with black trim!! I asked or the surveillance film and she told me it was not available to her. I highly recommend not using this company for your moving needs EVER! This has been so upsetting as I was extremely generous in tipping each of the movers! It was not just the lack of care they displayed but the way they dismissed my theft brought on by one or many of their workers!

We got a great deal on a unit that was on their second floor because there was no elevator. We only had boxes so that wasn't an issue for us. We also loved that there are other businesses operating out of the building, so you never really feel alone. We also liked that if we wanted the guys to open up the back loading dock, we didn't have to park, walk around the building, then walk through the entire building to open up the door- instead you just give the guys a ring and they let you in! When we moved out they were super friendly and made the move out process seamless. Trust me, I was ready for a battle with them, but they called/texted and made sure I was taken care of. We made an appointment for Saturday morning as we wanted to surprise our daughter with the vanity built for her birthday. My son was also excited that his desk was going to be assembled as he wanted someplace to study, as well as a place to sit and play online Roblox with his friends instead of the dining room table. Guilherme texted me 15 minutes before our appointment to say that they were running behind schedule and would be at our home 20 minutes later than our scheduled appointment. I appreciated his communication with me that they were going to be late. When Guilherme arrived, he was accompanied by Isabella (who I learned was his fiancée who works with him). They were very friendly, and both went right to work on assembling the two items. They were professional, efficient and friendly, moving each of the furniture items after they were assembled to where we wanted them in our kids rooms. Great service! From A New Tenant To Arco's Storage: "To the management of Arco's Stoage in South San Francisco, Greetings. I would like to tell you how very grateful I am for the excellent professional service I have received from Desiree, spanning months this year. I have also been in communication with your Stockton facility, starting in February of this year. My family, and branches of it, have been patrons of the Stockton facility - - and I had a large Storage unit in the past there, for over one year, many many years ago. I not only have a past business relationship with Arco, but this year I have met many people and am embarrassed it is taken this long to actually rent a unit. My mother was dying this year and she passed away under my care, and I am now solely taking care of her home and estate. There are really so many facets, that it is been overwhelming. Her residence is in Stockton, as well as most of my family members. My permanent residence is in Millbrae. I have really needed a storage unit next to my home, but rates are quite high in the bay area - for everything. I had nearly given up on getting a unit until Desiree called me last Friday to follow up with me yet one more time. I was astonished because I had not been in communication for at least one month. I told her on the phone last week what a stellar professional she is, as it is so clear that she goes above and beyond. I was so grateful she called, and went over my many questions. She fully reassured me with facts, pride and enthusiasm on every score. Desiree alone brought me in as new business at the SSF facility. Desiree and I had built a relationship - - which was due to her professionalism. And I have to tell you how positive and what an excellent representative she comes across as over the phone. And solely because of her, I am not only now renting a unit, but one at this more expensive facility. I might later need a larger unit later on. Desiree got to know me and because I am handling my mother's estate she knows I am not the type of person to not pay my bills. Last night when I came in and she asked for my drivers license, after not being able to find i in my purse, I realized I had kept it in a back jeans pocket that I was wearing over the weekend, when I was taking care of my mother's yard in Stockton. I was so more than extremely tired last night. Yes she did make an exception for me and she was very concerned she was making it - - but she made the right business decision. I had a history with her and with people on the phone. I had also been speaking with people at the Stockton facility. I also physically looked at a unit at the Stockton facility this year. I am not a walk in, or a random caller. I have this unit because of Desiree. I could not go back last night to get my drivers license because it was near closing time. And my car was full of boxes, which would have been unsafe me for me to keep in my car overnight. All responsibility and blame are fully mine. I would accept financial penalty, so that Desiree does not face any penalty or disrespect of any kind, whatsoever. Desiree is a stellar representative of ARCO. From all of my interactions with at least 100 people this year in dealing with my mother's health and business, Desiree has always stood out in my mind. And I had only had a phone working relationship with her. She thoroughly explained everything and satisfied my concerns about security, pest control, and facility cleanliness and indoor climate. She knew that in some ways I was already within the Arco family, and I am so very very sorry. I am grateful to her. and someways I am extremely happy that a light is being shown so that I can have attention to have this opportunity to give my customer experience. Desiree should be commended and well taken care of professionally. I would recommend her to any company. I don't know her title, but she is definitely a manager who has very strong marketing, public relations, sales and customer service strengths, demonstrated to me time and again. I hope she is well recognized and is very highly valued, as she adds many levels of business value to ARCO. Attached below please find copies of my drivers license. I did retrieve it last night, but failed to take pictures and email these in. It turns out that I had placed my computer on top of my drivers license last night, that I had pulled out in order to send an email to you, to relay pictures of my drivers license on the same day - - as I had pledged. Cathy is really rude,very disrespectful and very poor customer service... Marty told me I can take a look at the the storage, I saw it with their lock but Marty told me it's just been rented and he apologize...he didn't like me to go inside the office but I squeezed in, then Cathy was..they wont be able to rent me a storage just because I left a stuff before, she was like , I called you and you were very disrespectful,you said you didn't leave anything..she was really mad with her two eyes opened wide,very mean like she didnt really like me at all..I was, yeah I left a small old suitcase and told you I'll be back but I forgot...I still said I apologize and I like the size and price , what if I'll just promise not to do it anymore and she was like, no! These people are plain rude and act like they have some seniority around SSF ..the owner Parks all his trucks and banners ( annoying ) all over SO San Francisco in front of peoples Homes , and other local Businesses. Basically they are too cheap to pay for advertising ....When I called them and told them to please stop placing the Huge trucks with all the banners in our Neigborhood ..the owner or manager whom answered told me to "Deal with It:" ..was rude and hung up on me ..not very good Business for the Neigborhood with a Poor attitide like that ...and they also Park the Huge trucks from the Other Arcos around the Neighborhood ..so Both Arco locations are the same Logo ..Banner ect. ...very aggressive tactics ...Just Imagine always having to see a Large Box Truck or Van in front of your School, Church , Business ....basically all over So City ......Its Arco Storage as well as Arco Auto Body ...so we have to see Double the Trucks and Banners on most Days ... read more

The team at Arco's were THE MOST PROFESSIONAL people in the storage business I have ever dealt with. I use storage facilities quite often for temporary storage of business assets and vehicles. Most places treat you like crap, and refer to your stuff to be stored as "crap" or a synonym I don't want to put here. Not only did the team there treat me with courtesy, respect and go out of their way for a special request (I am based 3000 miles away), they topped it off with a free coffee (k-cup, not old sludge) and a ride to the airport. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Even with all the in and out traffic while I got the storage set up, they treated everyone with courtesy and respect and showed that they truly valued the individual's time and business. This is a a terrible place to storage if you late couple days on payments they will charge you twice not once but twice this is ridiculous the people in the from office don't give you a break I just paid $220 dollar for a 5by 10 no room to put nothing I got a better storage 15/20 for $250 thanks god i don't storage with this arcos storage no more it is a bad experiences do not go there they don't care if you late they don't care if you rent 10 unites the price is the same they don't worry work with you if you don't pay they make you pay more this is stupid plus the old guy not let you talk why no Matter what you pay 2 times more do not go ssf arcos storage you will regret it trust me you will regret it read more

We had an excellent experience getting a storage unit thanks to Nicole and Julie! Nicole was absolutely fantastic- she was personable, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable. She took the time to ask about our needs, walked us through all of our options, and reassured us that our belongings would be safe. She guided us through the entire process and even made sure our keys and check-in process were working smoothly. Julie was also wonderful! She was kind, hospitable, and made the office feel welcoming. They both made what could have been a stressful process seamless and easy. The main manager was very rude , all we asked for was a bigger unit was told that there was no availability so we decide to just keep the storage room we had next thing u know we are being kick out because we *ARE NOT A GOOD FIT * no explanation wat so ever also claim that she didn't need to explain to us anything anymore and to come collect our money. My family and I believe she was being very racist no costumer service at all. I've had many storage units over the years, but none of them give as good customer service as this Arco. From the moment i walked in they made me feel special. Desiree was genuinely cared about me and my moving experience. She was very professional, and always with a smile on her face and doing everything she could to make my move smooth. I love this place I've gotten help from Angie as well as Julie. Both amazing being helpful towards me getting a storage unit at their facilities. They both are very detailed in showing you the storage units and any other services they offer. I'm 100% happy I choose them over other storage companies . I live in SSF and used Arco's twice while my house was under remodeling. The place is nice and clean, and ALL the stuffs are very helpful. Especially thanks for Desiree, who helped me to find (and free 1 mo upgrade) a storage for my last min request. I will not look for other place next time when I need storage again. read more

Jodie here right at the Arco storage in ssf Their customer service is awesome Julie helped my friend show the storage spots and was very proffessional Desiree the manager is awesome too she keeps it professional and has humor to go with it! Arco's Self Storage was definitely the best place I checked out. Their spaces are clean and their security is the best. Besides that the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was easy to make the choice to store my stuff there rather than the other storage places I visited. read more

I had such an amazing experience getting my first unit. The manager Carlos was very helpful and patient while attending me and helping me pick out my unit. He was knowledgable and explained everything very thoroughly. All and all, great service, affordability, security and staff! read more

I have been using Arco's wine storage for years and they have been fantastic as when I get shipments and cannot be at the facility, because I live overseas, they help to put my wine into my storage for me! Julie has been extremely helpful and friendly! read more

With that said I haven't stored anything here yet, but this was one of the top 3 places I've considered. The reason why I am deciding on another facility it's due to it being closer to where my things are and that I'm unsure what I'll be storing for now so I'll need my first time place to be indoor. And are buy those moisture absorbing stuff. With that said I might come back once I have everything figured out and this may be the second storage place I would use if they still have fair prices by the time I'm moving out of my first choice.
