I'm barely moving in and on day 3 my boxes that do not contain food are covered in ANTS! DM told employee to have me call the insurance company and could not offer any resolution and DM is not returning my calls. Employee refused to move me to another unit. And when I asked for the people in the next unit to be contacted because the ants are clearly coming from under the makeshift wall, the employee said she'll make a note of it. I'm furious! And have to spray my own boxes without the security that there won't be more as soon as I leave. read more

I wished they had allowed me to reserve two weeks in advance but would only reserve one week in advance. However, there was a space available in the size I needed. The on-site property manager was very kind and helpful as I was coming from a long distance in order to rent. He referred me to the online application process to make things go faster. And stayed 15 minutes after closing to help us get checked in. read more

The customer service at this facility in particular was outstanding from the first time I called for a price quote. All of the staff was pleasent and more than helpful on the phone. Not only did they give me the lowest rate out of the 7 storages in the area that I called, they made a call back confirmation and appointment. When I arrived to move in to storage unit, Kelly the manager was helpful, fun, freindly and way cool. I have worked with many storage facilities and never seen so much unprofessional attitudes and operations from managers and supervisors. Very bad facility! I had my unit broken into since Mike Herman and Randy Perez told me that they do not have any cameras around but only on the main gate. I have had storage units for years, and this is the first time that it ever happened to me. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone to rent out for short or long term usage, although I got notified and assisted okay. read more

Mistake! When I showed up the $1 first month didn't apply to me. I got 1/2 price for first month. On top of that there were about $100.00 more in mandatory charges. The unit wasn't clean when shown. Swept it out myself. Came back a couple weeks later to find ants all over and mice/rat droppings and chewed up boxes. If you have something you want to keep nice. Good luck. My daughter's like new bedroom set had some water stains on it that ruined the dresser top and nightstand I was trying to sell as " like new ". So, roof leaks? Not anymore. Transient types hanging around that go through the gates when opened by code holders. Steady stream. Looks like they're living in there. Moving to a cleaner, less rundown, less suspicious facility. Had to get a unit while transitioning to Long Beach from Fullerton, found a great deal online and took it. This location is close to the 91,57, and 5 so its a great location to access the freeways. My reason for writing this review though, is due to the customer service. I dealt with Randy when moving in, as well as checking out. He is a real stand up dude that is very helpful with catering to making the process easier and more enjoyable. He seams to actually care, where as some people just do it because thats there job. We recently rented a unit from this location. After shopping around this place offered the beat move in special. The units are older but I'm not looking for a fancy place. The office guy Randy was very helpful and extremely fruendly. He explained the plan to us and gave us good tips on local spots to eat around the area. I recommend renting from this location. read more

i'm a customer here off and on for the past five years. My issue is that the restroom is always locked, and you need to go into the office and ask them if you can use the restroom for key, when the office closed, then they lock and you can't get in. This is really wierd, and i have wondered why they always lock the restroom during hours 9-5. they have done this since i have been here for years, and it is really anoying. I think they do this so that they don't have to clean up anything. Last week i see a guy pissing on the wall next to his unit because the restroom is locked. This is ridiculous, and funny, unless you need to use the restroom. Solution: leave it open during business hours, unless you want the health department to come down there, you may need to clean up some shit, but thats part of the job, i know plenty of homeless people that would clean up shit to get a good job running a storage place. read more
