Not clean, unfortunately all my items were dirty and soiled with rat feces and urine... I had a $5000 bed in there that got completely ruined! I let them know of the problem. I even took pictures, but nothing was ever done..., I cleaned it myself only to have it get infested again. And no, we don't store food items... Who does that?? read more

I went from having a really bad experience at a different storage facility where it made me never want to rent again but then I found this place and met Julie, she was so kind and understanding from the moment I stepped on site. Don't participate in storage auctions here. The auctioneer or the Manager opens up the units prior to the auction and rearranges the items to make them look nice and neat and puts the best items up front. I bought a unit at this place and it looked like a normal unit but was actually one from a homeless person The female manager there admitted to me that they open up the units with a witness to inspect them before the auction. But you can not set it up or repack for show. That is a violation of State penal code 21700 for storage facilities. The units must be sealed once possession has been taken over and only at the time of the auction opened up to view. Pay attention to the time if the facility officially closes you will be locked in for the night read more

But also just want to mention I was unloading by my self a mattress and I was struggling a little bit and an employee there Raymond I believe was his name asked if he could help me and just in time because I sure needed the help. He advised me how to stage my space to make it more efficient and and advised me not to worry about my belongings because he monitored the location daily and i could sense the honesty in him and it put me at ease. Megan and her mom are 2 of the most caring, down to earth people! I have recommended this place because of the 2 of them. The owners are very lucky to have them there. The only reason why this is not a 5 star is because there have been a few less than ideal renters there, I am glad they are being cleaned out. I have not had any issues though. Just rented a 10x20 storage here for the first time. The manager was very professional, friendly, and flexible to meet my needs. Compared the amenities and price to other places and this place gave me the best deal for what i was looking for. Big plus is that most of the units are drive up, when compared to other places nearby that charge just as much for an upstairs or interior unit of the same size. I have used Fullerton Self Storage for a little over two years and they have always been great. Ailayna is the onsite manager and has always been very helpful in person and over the phone. I just recently relocated my belongings to another city due to a move but I never had any complaints with there storage facility. The staff that help run the storage yard were super helpful getting me moved in and out, I don't think you will find a better storage yard in Fullerton. Oh, and lest I forget, they have excellent security for your belongings, give em a try. read more

I would not recommend fullerton self-storage. It's an old facility with no alarms or sprinklers in the units, and it's difficult to get around the facility because the isles are too narrow. It's also hard to get in the one gate they have if someone else is coming out. Gate hours are too restrictive, you have to be out so early you can't go there after work. Their online bill pay is a joke, you have to fill out an authorization form with all your CC info that they keep on file, then go online to their site, make your payment, THEN call their office and tell them you paid. Don't know about you but I don't like my credit/debit card info kept that way. The manager is rude to people, I've seen her yell at people in person and on the phone. And last - They act like they are doing you a favor. I say keep looking! read more

great location, close to amerige heights where i live. moving in and out was convenient, signing up and setting up automatic payments was easy. the gentleman working onsite was friendly and helpful. alana was helpful you can tell she knew what she is doing. you have to enter a passcode to sign in and out, felt that my storage was secure. parking lot and driving around on the lot itself can be a little tight especially if you have a big car or truck coming in, no problem with my hybrid. the facilities were clean and well maintained. you can purchase supplies from them or bring your own as well. price was competitive with other storage companies. would recommend! read more

I've had three units at Fullerton Self Storage for several years. Recently I was contemplating moving my belongings to another area, but the management team is so friendly and helpful that I decided to stay. A few months ago I was having trouble with my automatic deposits not registering with the FSS computer system. The manager (Megan) was extremely understanding and helpful in resolving the issues between my credit union and their computer system. The place is always neat, clean and organized. The office staff is cordial and inviting, although the office used to have fun customer amenities and most of that is now missing. Not a great place. It's old, there's no security, no alarms, no sprinklers and they say they have a guard dog on site, but they don't.
