Friendly and fair service! Dave found a great unit for our needs at a fair price. We were on the second floor and it was never overly hot or humid even on the worst days. Courteous on the phone and while they appreciate your timely payment, they will go the extra mile and call to make sure you don't accrue a late fee (Dave works especially hard to insure this!). I want to thank David first! THANK YOU! I had an unforeseen event, which caused me to seek immediate storage ( large size)! My daughter-in-law used this facility for a short term, seasonal items unit,temporarily the year prior. I initially spoke with Nancy ( also a gem) but 99% of my own interaction over 6 months was with David. The grounds are SPOTLESS and bug/ rident free, due to proper spraying and maintenance. They walk the grounds and inspect locks, making sure no one is unauthorized in the area, the security system is fantastic! I had an outside drive up unit, the price was great! 10x by 20x My daughter-in-law recently needed a small unit again, Nancy noticed she did not have her latch on properly,although it was locked. She phoned my daughter-in-law, to notify her, because it was not as secure as it should be, it is a small interior unit. She was told ,that had she not been able to reach her,to come in to fix it, they would have changed it for her. They are very diligent with great respect of everyone's property and safety of it. I highly recommend them. My clean out was easy, David also assisted me at one point, in setting up auto payment! There is not one single negative comment that I can make. You can store your valuables with 100% peace of mind at this facility! I have to write and share my experience with David at Dale Street Storage today. With my crazy situation, we really tested his patience, knowledge and abilities and he came through it like a PRO! I came in today with an older couple that have been appointed by the courts as executor of an estate. This means the person who rented the storages here originally has passed away, and a court order gives these folks possession of the items in storage. I came along to help move things around and help them see what is in these storages. As you can imagine, this was a complicated issue. We have legal paperwork but no keys, no entry code, and were just 3 unknown people just popping in unannounced. I expected to have to hassle my way through the morning explaining ourselves. David handled it all without any sort of problem. He checked the paperwork out, checked his records, and we were ok to enter. He also had to go through a LOT of trouble drilling and removing the old locks since we had no keys, but he did this at no charge. AND as a bonus he kept a friendly attitude the whole time. At this point, I will explain my background and experience with storages... David didn't know this, but before the storage shows went on the air I purchased over 10,000 storages over 20 years. I have even filmed a couple of pilots for storage shows, and have been approached by A&E and History Channel to do more. Let's say I have been around the business enough to know a good facility run by good people. If you're here reading reviews, you're probably searching for a safe, clean and friendly environment to store your stuff. I don't think you could do any better than this. Long story short, I found out that I had to move out of my office. I went by Dale St Storage (DSS) because it was really close by and I'm so glad I did... It is the best storage unit I have ever encountered. I have stored things at "Public Storage" before and the people were so rude and just didn't give a shit, not accommodating at all! I thought that people who worked at storage places were the same as tow yard people (generally assholes that are trying to take advantage of your situation) So i expected the same treatment from DSS. To my surprise DSS was totally different. They understood that moving and putting things in storage was a stressful situation and made arrangements to make my life easier. examples: 1- the man took his time and showed me around the place so that I can make a good decision about the size of the storage unit that i wanted to rent. at Public Storage they get mad at you if you ask to see the different units They think you should already know how big of a space you need. 2- I didn't have a lock with me, since I was disoriented from all the bull shit that comes with moving, so the guy that worked there let me borrow his loner lock for a couple days until i was able to find one of my own and didn't force me to buy an over priced lock. At PS they make you buy a lock if you don't have one and they are ass holes about it and would never let you borrow anything. 3- He let me move all of my stuff in before i signed the contract and payed. The guy just understood that I had movers working on an hourly rate so he wanted me to get started instead of waiting and waisting time for an hour. At public storage if you don't sign the papers and pay they wont even let you on the property. 4- the guy that worked there brought my workers and I cold waters and offered coffee for us cause he said i looked stressed. at PS they don't even have waters you can buy let alone give to you for free. So I guess he didn't even do that much, but treated me with respect and was accommodating and made me feel like I was being understood. That is what people are supposed to do, but these days with bullshit corporate policies and people being bitter at their jobs and their own personal bullshit its very hard to find. read more

Good place, the guy was super friendly and helpful I have been here a month now no problems wish they had longer hours but I understand how it might be and issues with burglars and thieves. I have had my stuff in three different storage facilities over time and Dale St. is by far the best simply because of the customer service. They go out of there way to make sure you are happy. When I moved in I had a coupon for half off but didn't notice it wasn't good for the unit size I wanted, but the sales lady gave it to me anyways.... AWESOME! I was really satisfied with my experience there. Had no problem getting in or out. The elevator wasn't too far from my unit and the dollies were placed throughout the facility.
