They are absolutely the worst. The fees are way too high for the level of service - even for renting space. The required use of their locks is outrageous. The added fees stack up. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. The thing is, we actually have two storage units right now and I absolutely LOVE Units Storage! The people are friendly. They wave fees constantly whenever there is the slightest misunderstanding - on either side. And the Unit they bring right to your house to fill, take it away, and then deliver it right to your house when you are ready. We only got the smaller place at Public Storage to place somme china in that I was worried about...but, I wish I hadn't! The Units has been moved and not one thing shifted!!! AVOID Public Storage at ANY COST and use Units down the road. MUCH better deal. read more

This is the worst place ever. I closed my storage on the second the emailed me saying I owe nothing and had turned auto pay off, then on the 5th they charged me 89$. I contacted them about this and they said I can't have a refund no pro rating. I asked them to cancel auto pay. They did not and charged me for a whole month that I would not use. When I called in, everybody was very helpful- from the customer calling center and over the phone, however when I arrived everything changed. It was by far the worst customer service I have ever encountered or witnessed. I was in complete shock that the two women at the front desk could be so inconsiderate and upright rude. Lisa literally lied about what I told her under my notes. I know this because I spoke with a customer representative who was trying to be helpful. As I was having a panic attack and practically sobbing, neither one of the women took that into consideration as Lisa continued to be disrespectful. You know, sometimes, you should be considerate of others and kind with your words and demeanor because you dont always know what the other person is going through. I understand people have bad days - but Lisa needs to learn when to go home and when to change her attitude. read more

I made an appointment with manager but he wasn't there when i got there. Didn't answered the phone for 1hr and when he came back, it was 30mins before closing and he said he cannot show the storage cause it's almost time to close. read more

Closing 10 minutes early...makes for a pretty big inconvenience before a big holiday weekend. There's 5 cars sitting here and we are all Super annoyed!! When you post hours, you should honor them. I will never use public storage again nor will I recommend it to anyone. These fees are taking a chunk out my pocket. Rates are never set. Pricing are constantly going up. We literally moved into our storage December 2017 & the price went up not once but twice, it hasn't even been a year. They aren't reasonable at all. If you're late a month they send a notice of lien sale. That's so scary because I have valuable things that can't be replaced. It can be stressful & their suppose to be here to help you. Customer services isn't all that great either. One of the receptionist are rude or comes off to strong. Their detail information is never the same. One person tells you one thing about how much a storage would cost to move & another person will tell you another price. It's wild. Don't do business with them! read more

I had such an amazing experience at this location!! I felt very comfortable and safe moving items BOTH in and out, especially early in the morning and late at night. The units are very clean and well kept! That was a vital criteria when choosing a place to house my valuables... Aka my CLOSET! Utilizing carts and paying my bill was exceptionally easy!!! Jovanna and Lisa were very attentive and followed up frequently about how my experience was every time!! That made me feel very comfortable and more than just a customer!! I came in today (April 7th) around 3pm to buy some boxes. The older male that was working during that time was so attentive and helpful. He showed me every single type of box, size, and what will work best for what I needed it for. He also showed me the tapes, coverings, and mats for easier transfers. At the end when he was ringing me up, he took the time to write on my receipt to show me how many boxes I purchased with each size. Even carried them out to my car for me. Have had a nothing but issues the past few years with them. In the beginning it was fine. The rent has gone up most 3x what it was in just a few years. Service was horrible. Every time I would go to the office they were closed for something. Not a single trashcar for even a soda can or water bottle. The bathrooms are locked and you need a key. But again they are always closed in the office. Now they are giving me a hard time when I try to cancel the storage. Horrible horrible horrible. Do not use this place. read more

They constantly raise rates, though the quality or offerings do not change. $190 a month for a 10x10????? The bait and switch is to give the first moth free and, if your tricked, an additional 15%off. Just hang on, they will raise your rate anyway. There is nothing truly special that makes this place worth as much as they charge. Take your business somewhere else. Public Storage has way too much overhead, and that overhead demands way too much money for the service provided. read more

This storage place is a scam, they lure you in and push their own locks for your use only to find out they are easily broken into. Public Storage locks were picked and easily opened. As if there was an inside operation going on. Thieves knew exactly what to take and returned the invaluable items back as if they were never touched! Foot prints all over our furniture. What a violation of privacy! No wonder they pushed for us to purchase the insurance. What a coincidence that there was an auction held a few days prior to when we noticed that our unit was broken into. Renting at this facility will be a hit to your pocket financially and sentimentally. All your hard earned items to be stolen and with no consideration of holidays!!! I would have rated higher based on the units alone, but after the customer service call, I decided to write my review mostly on this alone. The pros of this location: Nice clean units, Easy in and out access. The cons: lighting on the outside is BAD so if you come at night, be prepared to use your car's headlights to give you any light on an outside unit. Here is where I am most upset. We have 3 units rented out while doing an addition to our house.. We just got a notice that our unit rate was going to be increasing $34 per month on one of our units. This came as a shock so I called Public Storage to find out what the reason was for the increase. Their reason? Corporate increased rates to all units to cover overhead prices. When I told the girl on the phone that rate increases were never discussed while going over the lease agreement, she promptly pulls out a script and starts to read what the increases are for. She then says that they only go over what they need to on the lease and skip over parts they are not required to tell us, and that it is our fault for not going home and reading through the entire lease. I get it...legally, it IS my responsibility to read through the fine print, but at the same time, it should be disclosed up front. Not only that $34 per month x 3 units= OVER $1200 in increased fees per year. What a rip off!!! read more

The place is clean and well kept... But....... If you're coming here expecting to use a flatbed cart, good luck. You're at the mercy of the one and only employee working the front desk. The carts will be locked in until they decide to return. You will have to wait outside guarding your stuff until some one shows. read more

This is my third Public Storage facility I've rented from and I'd rank this one average compared to the other two PS. I select PS for their temperature control feature to protect my property and the units seem more secure as well as kept up. The facilities are well lit, which makes me feel safer loading and unloading before and after office hours. I feel their facilities are cleaner than other brands I've rented from. (Cleaner, because you have to pack your trash out with you.) There are some negatives with this particular location. One negative that's really irritating is the limited time to use their carts. You have to leave your driver's license at the front desk to use the carts, which limits you to moving anything needing a cart only while the office is open unless you have your own dolly or cart. (Big inconvenience!) You also have to leave your DL to use their restroom, so you're SOL if you need to use it while the office is closed. Even with this requirement, their restroom is the dirtiest of all the different brand storage facilities I've rented from. The office staff is inconsistent. Some members are helpful and others don't know what customer service means. Often there is only one staff member present. They don't post when they take their lunch break and it varies by person and day. This means if you've borrowed a cart or used the bathroom and need to get your DL back while they're gone, you can wait up to 45 minutes to retrieve your DL before you can leave. read more

I have had this storage unit for about a year and a half. In that time they have increased my monthly payment twice. Also, today I went to put a piece of furniture in the unit and it was blocked off, front and back. I called to ask what was going on and they said they're re-paving the road so it's closed for 2 days. We sure as heck don't get 2 days of rent knocked off of our bill, though. They also said they sent a letter in the mail to let us know, which I never received. I sure a heck got every bill in the mail though. Bottom line, this place sucks and I can't wait to get my stuff out of there for good. read more
