Jones, Las Vegas Nv 89108 gets no stars and ppl on here is not telling the truth if they say other wise this place goes through your belongings, i know when my stuff was tampered with dont use their locks, this place will call your emergency contact when youre a day late on your payment thats not an emergency its like harassment, i was paying on my storage, they auctioned my storage without telling me the date and still collected my money afterwards i wasnt a month behind, i will never go to this place again, seems like they are on something Scheming to get more money, it was always something with them they auctioned my storage for 60 dollars yeah because they took everything they wanted if id known it was a auction i would of went but they didnt tell me for that rsason im sure and i was paying hundreds to keep it, they are shady and please do not trust them i can almost reassure they keep your stuff, not a auction if i would of known it was gonna be auctioned i would of paid it off completely, they said my next bill was July 1 but then they added all kinds of fees in june since i had a balance of 27 dollars they added other fees and sold my stuff, in june i had a balance of 27$ dollars then they added 80$ for insurance dont buy their locks, im going to see if i could get legal help because it was wrong and they did not tell me the date they was auctioning my things and i had it paid down but they say it was a lein because it wasnt all paid i owed 27 dollars then they added 80$ dollars then 47$ dollars and some more bogus fees and auctioned my belongings for 60$$ who does that and i paid the balance $198 i paid June 29 i paid over 600 in 2 months they got rid of my stuff in June 2026 so they say, im gonna find iut what they did and i wont rest until something is done i had my son things in there hes out if town now he has no clothes but these ppl will pay eventually one way or another i will gather all my proof and get legal help, time to investigate i have nothing but time read more

I got to the storage before the office opened and I was able to get my gate code and code my unit online. This month I'm a little short on cash, I'm in between jobs, and the lady called me.I explained my situation and she kindly just said she wished me well on the new job and don't forget there will be late fees. Rented space last fall and all seemed ok. The space is suppose to be cooled. Now the weather is warming up the space has been sweltering. I have reported the issue several times. Just this morning at 7AM it was 95°! I have reported the issue to onsite management. They were very nice but nothing gets done. I looked around and found the thermostat that controls the cooling are literally missing. And has been for sometime by the looks of it. I tried to contact the company through all the phone numbers but no way to talk to anyone live or a way to leave complaints. Apparently this company doesn't care if it delivers what it charges its clients for. Poor business ethics. I highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. read more

Although I have had mostly pleasant interactions with the staff there- Do not use Public Storage at this location. We had our space broken into and all of our stuff ransacked and some valuables stolen. The units were so poorly constructed that the thief didn't even bother with the padlock-they just ripped the crappy particle board open. Broke into over 15 units. Also after moving out at the end of the month- checking out with the office and discontinuing auto pay- They still kept charging me and added late fees. read more

We started moving in on the 3rd and we were thrown out on the 7th because we accidentally backed the trailer into the wall, leaving a 3" hole in the drywall. We offered to repair the hole, but were told that it broke the contract and we had to move. Four days, no refund. Plus, we weren't allowed on property or in our unit and in order to move out we had to have an escort on the property. read more

The office is very helpful and nice but the facilities aren't the best I've ever seen. My storage facility had what looks like water damage and some insulation stuff coming into my room from another room. I'm thinking I might have to get some kind of plastic and nail it to cover that. It's not in that grade of an area. Hopefully there will be no fires or theft. The pricing was right and you get to pull up in front and put everything in you don't have to go down a long hallway with a cart.. I like that read more

Service is amazing. The only downside is that its not 24hrs. But every time i go customer service is friendly, the place is clean. I love the app because it can open doors automatically without needing to get out of my car and remembering the passcode. I can easily just press the button. read more

Rented storage here last fall and all seemed ok. Rented a 5 x 10 cooled storage room. Now the weather is warming up. The facility is sweltering. At 7 AM inside my shed was 95°! I have complained to management about it now several times. They are very nice but....nothing gets done. I looked around and found that the thermostat that controls the air temp in my building is missing, as in gone! I told management about that as well. Air doesn't work without a thermostat. Worse yet it appears as if it has been gone for some time. The staff is nice but apparently the owner could care less about the place or uf he provides the services he makes clients pay for. And is just milking the clients for every penny he can get. Very poor business ethics. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

This specific location is horrible, it's almost impossible to get ahold of someone via telephone, I regret booking online bad enough they charge $20 for a tiny lock, my move in day which one 1/6/23 I had to have my mom go up there, because they DON'T ANSWER the phones, the lady told me I had to be there before 4pm (they close at 6) , because she had a drs appt & nobody else was going to be there! I pushed my move in day back, when I got there at 3pm a couple days after, nobody was in the office, or answering the phones, the lock I was forced to buy online, WAS NOT LOCKING, after nearly 2 hours I finally got it to lock, and still was unsuccessful at reaching someone in the office, because again they CLOSED EARLY, the whole process AFTER me paying online was a COMPLETE TRAIN WRECK!!! read more

My issues is not with individuals, it's with the company as a whole. We are a military family that received PCS orders that aren't going to be for very long, so we decided to put all of our belongings in storage. Quick sidenote for any military spouses if your servicemember isn't with you they won't give you the military rate. We paid six months in advance for two units and once that ran out I went online to make a payment. I noticed the funds weren't being withdrawn from our bank account. And after waiting 11 days I called the local office. They couldn't figure it out so they called the corporate office. After almost a week they figured out I must've entered a routing number or bank account incorrectly. I was told to go online and make a payment. I was not allowed to make a payment for some reason and couldn't understand why. Again I called the local office and they gave me a corporate office number to call. I was told since I "default on a payment" I would be required to show up in person from now on and pay my bill with cash or money order. We are currently on a military base on the opposite end of the country. I made numerous other calls to the district manager, local office and corporate just trying to give them our money. I have been treated horribly. I am now being required to drive 40 minutes off the military base to find the closest public storage and pay our bill in person. I've also been informed that this penalty will not be removed, EVER! What kind of company punishes good customers who have never been late on a payment and has always paid early. I made one mistake and messed up entering an account number, once! I have been diligent about trying to resolve our bill however they won't take our money unless it's on their punitive terms. So a warning to my military family out there, especially if you're going to be going overseas, don't trust this company. They are no friend to their customers, especially to their military customers. I have never been so disgusted or so revolted by a company. read more

Rented a space out, showed up and nobody was in the office, called the main number on the website and they say to go to a different location to retrieve our lock, we get there and they tell us we didn't have to go anywhere, could've looked in our storage unit for the lock and keys... would've been nice to know this over the phone. I had rented a unit from this location a few years ago, when Marsha was the property manager. I had no problems at all back then. The facility was clean, well-lit, felt secure, and the staff was very professional. I would've rated it as 4 Stars. I recently rented another unit. The facilities are just as clean, and everything feels safe (despite being on Boulder Highway). But I'm giving it 5 Stars. Under the new property manager Barry, the service is not only prompt and professional (as it was with Marsha), but he is super friendly and went out of his way to help me with my unit and supplies. I even came in a minute before closing and he was more than happy to help me out with an issue with my unit. Most appreciated. I know most people just go for the most convenient storage space--somewhere easy to get to and not too expensive. After all, it's basically a closet or garage. I'd recommend this location if it's within your area. Storing stuff is supposed to be a pain, but the staff's friendliness will make it less annoying! read more

Please do not rent a storage space here!!! Go anywhere else. The storage space was affordable and it was temperature controlled but everything else about this place was horrific. First of all, this is located in one of the shadiest parts of the city. There is a lot of crime around there. My unit was broken into and items stolen and when I reported it to the office staff, they were not really sympathetic or concerned. They did nothing to offer to help but went about their day like nothing happened. They don't give two sh*ts about your belongings or protecting it. When I made a report and spoke to police, the police officer told me this particular location has 20+ breakins every month!! The manager will never disclose this to you when you're signing up. Several other issues: you can not access your storage space after 5pm. That's so early and a real inconvenience for many. They hide their dollies and carts when they leave the office so if you show up, you'll have to look all over for them or just not be able to use one. They will force you to purchase their insurance but it's junk and there will be many stipulations in which they will deny your claim. It takes nothing for them to say the camera was not working in the area where your unit is or you were not using the exact type of lock they want. The police told me it's quite possible they are working with the insurance company so good luck getting compensated if anything is stolen. All the burglaries may even be an inside job based on how indifferent they were when my unit was broken into. I would never give get a unit here again even if it was free. Please save yourself the trouble. read more

I have to say that from the first day I put my belongings into storage I was nothing but happy with the facility. Its clean, secure and the staff is so extremely helpful and friendly. I recently closed my storage account because I moved into a house and no longer needed the extra storage space. The day that I moved was well over 100 degrees and I was so overheated. I went into the office to cool off and Tamara was so understanding and kind. She offered me water and a place to sit. I highly recommend this facility and if I ever need storage again this is where I will go. read more

Very annoyed with this place. Six months in and they raised my rate from 144.00 to 170.00 !!! What?? Really???? That is ridiculous if you ask me. Add when I called all they had to say was "Well it's in the contract you signed that we can raise the rates". I would have looked around somewhere else and in fact plan on moving out asap. Worst experience ever. Tamara called to confirm reservation @ 9:30am, we said we will be there in 1/2 hour and we were on a tight schedule. She said she would be waiting. When we arrived at that time she was gone. After 45 minutes she arrived with some food and said she was at the bank. She was condescending and rude and did not care about or possibly not understand how terrible she was. My money can be spent anywhere I feel that my choice to spend in an establishment is respected. Tamara obviously did not care and didn't mind letting me know. I talked with a person at customer service who didn't want to hear what the problem was and kept repeating "what can I do for you" in a elevating condescending manner.While I appreciate the effort to find a solution this person was obviously not trained in dealing with guests in a manner geared towards producing a positive result. She simply did not care that my decision to spend my money with Public Storage was being crapped on and she added to the pile. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she refused. Very disappointed. Called today to store a car explained in detail the situation just bought the car at auction and did not have the title. They said no problem. Drove 25 minutes to get there to be told that I needed the title. What was of great concern was a family came in and wanted a unit the sign said $1 move in and she refused it. Another man was filling out his paperwork and they were asking him thing about what he was storing tv etc and said to them why are you asking so many questions about what I am storing. Then it all came together a man and his wife in a rage came down wanting to talk to the manager because for the second time his lock had been messed with an he was calling the police. I have had a unit here for almost a year and things have gone downhill. The management is horrible!!! First off they are very rude to customers. Jasmin who works there and some other girl look like they are related i'm not sure. They are the same when it comes to how they treat people. This property does not have cameras inside where smaller units are. I have repeatedly been accused of leaving trash when I haven't. They are going on my code being entered when they found the trash. First off they don't even check property until end of day if they do. Second the guy across from my unit is a hoarder and he takes all his stuff out everyday and puts in front of my unit to where I can't even get in. I think he resides there caught him living in bathroom. Third the guy next to my unit has sexually harassed me asking me for condom s and saying nasty things to me after avoiding him. When I told the manager she laughed. Fourth the door is broke so anyone off the street can enter without their code and people drive in after the other without putting codes in. Bathrooms are always filthy I took pics horrible!!! A when I tried c called the main manager about all this never got a response!! So now I'll go to Corp!!!! read more

This review is more about employee behavior. I rent a storage unit from the 4300 Boulder Hwy location in Las Vegas, NV and as I was leaving there today around 15:45, I needed to use the restroom. I went in the office to asked the employee (a black woman, I believe her name was Aisha) for the door code. She was playing/texting on her phone, and sighed like I was annoying her and snapped the code to me. I went to try the code, the door did not open, so I came back and said, "sorry it did not work". She shrugged her shoulders and again snapped while playing/texting on her phone, "oh well, that's the code if it doesn't work not my problem the door must be stuck." I asked if she had key, and again playing on her phone not even looking at me said, "nope, if it doesn't work I guess the doors broke, oh well". Shocked by her aggressive demeanor over a simple question, I left back out to try again. After 3 more attempts it finally worked. Afterwards I went and thanked her, and then I said, "I am sorry if I bothered you earlier, are you having a bad day? She laughed and said, "nope". I said, "well you are coming across like you have a bad attitude". She again and snapped, "no I don't have a bad attitude, I'm fine", and laughed. Still playing/texting on her phone. She then cut me off and dismissed me by saying this conversation is over, leave. I said, "its not a conversation, I, the customer am just telling you how you are coming across and that you might want to change your attitude since you are in customer service". She start getting loud and aggressive shouting insults as I was walking away. Further embarrassing herself and the company. The whole experience was so wrong and unprofessional. This is not how professional employees conduct themselves. She gave me the impression that she was being forced to work there. I'm not sure if that is just her demeanor or if the company treats her poorly, so she takes it out on the customer. What ever the case, she made it clear, she did not want to be there and that a customer was just an annoyance. I do not want to deal with such negative and unprofessional behavior every time I go there. I have interacted with several employees there and none of them were this level of rude. This was my first bad experience here. However, it was so bad that it out weighs the positive. I am not asking anything unreasonable, she just needs training on how to conduct herself like a professional lady. Her demeanor, personality, and over all display is so unbecoming and unprofessional that I am truly embarrassed for her. read more
