I visited on a Saturday morning. No employee on site. QR code on door directed me to rent online, so I did. I clicked on a button advertising a 10'x10' unit for $69 per month. I was given a 10'x5' unit instead with additional fees that raised the price to over $90 for the first month. I was sold a lock I didn't need as I had brought my own. I went back on a weekday morning to turn in the lock and rectify the size of the unit. Still no employee on site. I have called the phone number posted on the office door multiple times on multiple days - automated system with no option to speak to a person. I have left voice messages - no return call. I downloaded the app - no solutions offered there. I called the phone number in the app - still no answer. I searched their website - no solutions there. If you expect honest business practices and/or customer service, this is not the company where you will find either. read more

Constantly increasing the rent. They increased mine by 50 dollars a few months back and recently increased it another 20. The units have rats and bugs considering there's dropping ALL OVER MY STUFF THAT I PAY OVER 200 DOLLARS FOR. Tried to call customer service and was told "well that's too bad." Skip using Public storage, it's a waste of time. read more

I have been a customer for a few years now. The units are very clean and I feel safe going there as they have a security gate access. I never had any problems while renting there. The manager, Nelly is so nice and helpful. She goes out her way to help. 5 stars! read more

Very clean and decent. Safe and secure! Nelly - the manager was friendly and helpful. It is climate controlled and was really well maintained. I took a star off - as I paid my monthly bill on the 2nd of the month (like literally - just after midnight) and was charged a MANDATORY $25.00 late fee. I was not pleased - really? Also - they require you to buy their insurance which was not expected. I would use them again but thankful I only used them for 2 months. It's very clean - and everytime I went to my storage unit I was always greeted with a Peacock! Not kidding - they live and thrive behind the bldg! Check em out - but be aware of fees! Easy access and accommodating manager and AC unit , clean and reasonably priced

Very friendly management here. They called a few days after I rented my unit to see how my move in went. The space is clean and clutter-free. Downside: Not 24 hour access. Also, carts are located in the office not in the storage building. The office closes several hours before the gates close so you have to plan ahead if you will need a cart after hours. Their locks are double the cost of others I have seen at other storage facilities, buy else where and bring with you!! read more

This rental location raises prices OFTEN and if you've moved out of state you will feel stuck. In almost 4 years time they have more than DOUBLED my rental fee. I dread getting mail from them, it's always about additional increase. I've been with other rental companies who increase costs periodically, but it's not ramped up like this. And others have the courtesy to include in writing that there will be no further increase for 2 years, or 1 year. That is a much better way to handle it so you don't feel so at their mercy and taken advantage of and also helps you plan if you want to stay there for another year, or move asap! I made a cross country move to one of the most expenses places in the US and the rental fees here are LESS than in FL and they guarantee you that the fees won't be raised again for a set amount of time. I've advised my friends who were going to make similar moves to just go ahead and deal with the costs of moving their stuff and get storage at their new place so it's closer and easier to deal with if a company starts raising their prices frequently. Also, read the contract. Public Storage has decent facilities, I looked at several before chosing this one and they are clean and their climate control is so-so, basically OK. But despite what their excuses and responses are, I feel they start price gouging once they get you. Either way I think the key is to NOT leave your stuff behind. Deal with the headaches of taking it with you and put it in storage local to you so it doesn't become so hard to deal with if they starting hiking prices too much. My plan is to move out of here ASAP and not give them anymore of my money. read more

Stored my items here for 2 years. Nelly sold me my initial air conditioned unit and then 2 years later she was here to do the final check out of my rental. Her and Jason have been great to deal with through this two year process. I would highly recommend and use them again if needed. read more

I moved into this storage unit about a month ago. I've never had a storage unit before so I was new to the process, & Nelly was the one to help me through it all. She was very kind, patient, & extremely informative with all of my questions and concerns. She made sure I was purchasing the right space for the items I would be putting in storage and showed me the unit to confirm I was happy with it. So after moving items in and paying email invoices for a few months there is a sudden and high increase without notice received. After calling to inquire regarding this sudden change it was admitted that the noticed mailed was returned to the office. 1st Why would you snail mail when paperless was clearly requested. They don't mind sending invoices and propaganda via email but a significant monthly invoice they want to sneak in. 2nd Haven't even been renting 6 months so very outrageous to have such a large and sudden increase. They stated they are now comparable rates however after 3 inquires with other storage places that statement is false. Also, climate control is not regular as indicated by my gauges inside the unit. Inner access door frequently sticks and last visit there was a dead roach on the floor. Not alarming but certainly not to worth such a high increase. Quite the fine lined scam. read more

In short, Nelly single handedly changed my perspective on what it means to be a hero, along with completely changing how I look at Public Storage. In just one conversation, she displayed her extensive knowledge about topics such as figure skating, Breaking Bad, how to clean and fire a musket, cartography, Gucci Mane's release from jail and the steps of an appendectomy. She then kissed me on the forehead, mounted Cart #4 and told me to get on the back, as she proceeded to take me to my storage unit. Upon arrival, she slid the door open to reveal a dark set of stairs lit only by the torch that she was carrying. "What is that smell?" I inquired, beginning to sweat and tremble. She turned back to me and put her entire fist in her mouth, as if to let me know it was safe to follow. After what seemed like an eternity, I began to venture down the stairs, and guided by the light of Nelly's torch, I finally found my storage unit. It was alright. read more
