    I rented a unit to leave my car "secured" because I was going out of town & since I have no parking in my apartment, I decided not to leave it out on the street. I come back from vacation to pick up my vehicle to find it broken into. Multiple units were broken into & the staff told me they called me, when in fact I don't have a missed call from them at all on my phone. They gave me no explanation of anything. All they said was call the cops & deal with it through your insurance. Customer service went out the window. I was trusting this location that my personal belonging was going to be safe & secure, but it was anything but that. I called the cops, the cops of Los Angeles unfortunately didn't show up after waiting for almost 2 hours. I will NEVER be coming back here again.

My bad review has to do with getting charged the full month when I ACTUALLY moved out on the 2nd day of the month. I was told I'd get a check with the remainder amount $$$ I was not using the storage unit. No phone call, no check for the amount I'm owed has been received and it's been 7 months now. Don't do it - this place is a scam. Please read the 1 star reviews and don't take them lightly

    Do Not Waste Your Time…read more Rented here for four years since it opened, had four units with the company. So many issues and complaints but the main idea is that they provided terrible customers service, are constantly dropping the ball on follow through, and they make it difficult for anything to resolve. Zero Stars if I could. Great experience for two years, Worst experience last two years before we left for better places. Two years in, customers service went down hill fast and never recovered. They constantly dropped the ball on follow through. Massively difficult to reach anyone that could actually do something. Everyone worker always said that they could not do anything and had to give the news to someone else. A higher up needed to be told but the workers would never provide the contact information to that person. I once (after months of calls and bad reviews) spoke to the District Manager and he didn't follow through with what he promised. Terrible customer care from the top down. They either are always lying, dismissing, or forgetting about customer needs. I alerted the company every time something was wrong with their building (i.e. broken doors, bugs, animals, people living in units, people dumping and abandoning their furniture and garbage in the building) and watched as nothing changed. They OVERCHARGED me for a month after I moved out. After multiple calls, speaking to multiple customer service and front desk people, it took 6 months for someone to contact me about being overcharged and another 6 months for me to see any action. Issues: We were overcharged Signed on with promise of use of moving truck. They got rid of the truck after 2 months. There is no accountability from the workers The District Manager (Jose) offered no help After they sign you and take your money they avoid you. Roaches in the Building Moths in the Building Rats and Lizards in the Building Broken Doors Break in Liquid in unit from other units/animals I understand need for rent increases, but they increased our rent a lot for reasons of limited space, but there are plenty of open spaces. I once counted 17 open spaces in our half hallway alone, easily hundreds of open spaces. I have better things to do than write bad reviews but for the time of mine wasted with calls and visits, the dismissive attitude from the workers, and the frustration that it brought; I really hope that this review results in your choosing of another business. Avoid ALL us stoage centers in the area, because with a terrible District Manager they all have to be just as bad.
