Stay Away!!!! Do Not Give Business here. Customer service is horrible and none existent. I had a storage unit for a few years and twice I had a complete rodent abomination in the unit. The insurance is Fraud too, will never respond or payout a claim. They will only take your money. I had a unit with 2 concrete walls and the third wall that is shared with the neighboring unit is made of drywall. Which is actually a very cheap way of doing things, should be metal. Well the first time I found the infestation in 2022 I made a claim and nothing, no response at all. Had to throw out a ton of items. Afterwards I had the unit cleaned and even swept. Well went this weekend to move out of the storage and long and behold another rodent infestation but 100 times worst even now. And the first time I even found a dead mouse. Now this time I had to throw away so many items. But what was upsetting was I had to throw away my blanket I've had since my childhood and I no longer have either one of my parents. Here they charge you a good amount to rent. So when you pay for a facility to store your valuable items you expect your items to be there in the condition you stored them in. You don't expect to come back and have to throw away your items. And when I called them to let them know, the guy in the office tried to gaslight me and somehow blame me. Like we don't know what you store??? Are you serious???? Take responsibility as a business to have the proper maintenance to not have a serious rodent infestation!!!! read more

Be careful for running storage or U-Haul rental vehicles from this place. We went in for a afternoon cargo van rental yesterday and the owner or whoever the gentleman was at the front desk... Jose I think... Was completely unprofessional. He is irritated, rude and just unfriendly to work with. He also Charged us a $25 cleaning fee on our van when all we moved were small furniture that could not possibly have caused it. We are working with U-Haul corporate now for a refund and to also file a complaint against this location. Be careful when dealing with this place read more

I rent the storage and a died rat found inside of my storage. All the furnitures and boxes were covered with rats vomits and feces. I dumped all my furnitures due to plague. I also contact the insurance company. Be aware, the insurance is not covering anything unless nature hazard. It is nearly impossible to happen. Don't rent this place. Seeing all the bad reviews about this location, I selected a different one. But the next day U-Haul informed me that this is the only location that had the equipment I need so I didn't have a choice. The bad reviews about their rude worker Jose are all true. I was hoping he'd be more considerate as I was obviously handicap with limited movement and oxygen. But he had a bad attitude and was very rude anyway. I hope they get a nicer person to replace him. read more

Scam Alert: I paid for a rental storage space. The next day, I cancelled my rental. I was told that they will provide me a refund. After one week, I went back to see the status which they could not give me. I explain to them if there is no refund, I would like the space that I pay for. They could not provide me a storage due to none were available. I was given the management direct phone number. No one has return my phone call. read more

This storage unit is pretty conveniently located at Mission & Garfield near the railroad tracks. We needed to rent a storage unit for a few months and this place was reasonably priced & nearby. They take pretty good care of the place, no trash or shady stuff going on.. The offer different size units for flexibility. Security is pretty good as only 1 car can enter at a time with a code & same when you leave. My only complaint would be the hours of operation, its pretty much only during daylight hours, so it can be inconvenient only coming early mornings or weekends only. Location is good & reasonable for storage needs. Tip: BYOL Bring your own lock, the long master lock works perfect. It's hard getting "cool" locks to go in the closure area. Read and believe the other reviews! Friendly and professional service. ALL of the units have DRIVE UP access! No stairs, no elevators and don't really need dollies or carts, straight from car to storage. I only needed a unit for 3 months, but was satisfied from start to finish. And even the smallest unit is more than enough for boxes and even full sized furniture; sofa, king size mattress, tables. The units are very high, so store odd objects in boxes to stack, and turn furniture on their sides, if possible, to use more vertical space. Will use again in the future if needed. read more

Decent area facility, but ... They add extra charges on top of their rates Their gate hours are horrible and they do not even have them open when they are supposed to. They say gate opens at 7:30 but it's 8 and still no one. I call and no one picks up. There should be someone there but it's obvious they don't care. Really ruined my weekend plans because everything now shifts to accommodate them and then incorrect times. Will be leaving this place soon to storage down on Freemont. They are open right now. I have rented 5 by 15 storage place. The hight of the storage is very good. You can stack up boxes and it takes a lot of stuff. The front desk is very helpful from the beginning. You can rent a Uhaul over there which is very convenient for moving. read more

I have had my "stuff" stored here for a few years. The location is always clean I've never had any issues. The staff is nice and helpful.

This is my first month using PSA Self Storage and I have no complaints. The staff is cordial and the facility is clean. My unit is clean and dry. I like the fact that I can drive up to my unit and unload my stuff in less than 10 minutes. There are large trash bins available. I've been to a multi-leveled facility and it's really hard loading things on to a dolly, going up in an elevator, and pushing the heavy dolly down a narrow pathway. Plus, making multiple trips up and down the elevator was no fun. If you are like me and have way too much stuff and can't decide what to donate or throw away, give this place a try. This place has kept me somewhat sane as I get ready to move. Lastly, I like the fact that I didn't have to commit to a certain number of months. Month-to-month is awesome! read more
