Our church used this facility for 9 years. Management and team were always responsive to our requests. The facility is clean and has a restroom on premises. As with all properties sometimes there are gate or door issues but they work hard to keep everything in proper working condition. Thanks for everything D Scruggs and A Better Life Fellowship read more

Mr Roosevelt was great! He made my move in and out very well. When I had a problem with leaving and no one was in the office for me to sign out, he explained the situation to management so I wouldn't have to pay for an extra month. I thank God for his and management understanding. He is a great person to work with. It was my first time renting a storage unit. read more

Roosevelt was very helpful and called me back within 2 hours of me leaving a message!

We appreciated our time and the services given to us during our time at Public Storage, 10328 S Dolfield Rd Owings Mills, MD. Mr. Roosevelt treated us with respect and helped with each question we asked. He is very pleasant. I wanted him to know his time was truly appreciated. Gwendolyn A read more

Used for temporary storage for some furniture. Pro's: The place was pretty clean every time I went. The pricing was about average compared to other facilities. Con's: They have Extremely limited parking, with only 4 very tight spaces out front. I had to wait almost every time I went, and left on 2 occasions because it was taking too long for a spot to open. It was also impossible to talk to anyone there. The lobby was always empty and locked, even during business hours. Pressing the button for assistance did nothing, and calling the number just gets you a recorded message. read more

Roosevelt was very kind and helpful! The staff is very attentive and responsive for a storage facility and it is very clean! I recommend :)

It took them a year to fix the entry way keypad by my unit and they raise their rates constantly. My rate started at $160 two years ago and I just got the notification they're raising it to $275. Avoid this place if you want to keep anything here for any amount of time. t's fine for a couple of months since the intro rates arent terrible. read more

So this place used to be EZstorage and my 7.5x10 used to be $125. Eventually over a 3 year period it increased to $140. Then when they became public storage my rent increased to $170!!! A 30 dollar increase overnight. This is ridiculous and I feel like the customers are paying for the change. Please explain to me why my rent was increased to $170? I will be moving my stuff asap. It would be nice if you offered veterans a discount. read more

Candice was very helpful and knowledgable about procedures. She made sure I was comfortable and it made my move in so smooth. Should I need storage after this, I hope I get her or someone like her to ease my transition. Great experience! read more

This place is extremely behind on maintenance doors are not working. Gate is broken. The person at the desk was rude / sarcastic / not helpful. read more

The facility is not well maintained. The elevator is dirty and the lobby reeked of marijuana. In addition, there weren't any dolly's at the elevator for my move in. I've never experienced that before at a storage facility. We had to go get one and it took so many trips up and down to get my things into my unit even though I had a crew of 3 people to help. The dolly was super small. While they have a competitive rate, not sure how long I'll be here. I guess you get what you pay for. On a better note, the customer service was great!!! They called to ensure that my first day transition was smooth and the young lady at the front desk (12/5/21) was super professional and personable. I gave the 3 starts for customer service and affordability. read more

The facility is very clean and up to date. Candace was very helpful during check in and when I closed out my account. Setting up my account online was very easy. Using the app is very convenient for entry as well as making payments. Overall, it was a very good experience. read more

I rented a space from the Public storage in Owings Mills, Md. on 9/30 but did not put a lock on it because there was a problem with the lock holder and they told me to come back and put my lock on after it was repaired the next day or so. Someone saw that there was no lock on the empty unit and "ASSUMED" I had vacated (the next day) and deactivated my access and closed my acct. Mind you they had taken my money for the space and insurenace. I am still trying to get all my money back for a space I never used. Obviously the staff wasn't trained very well read more

I had a very enjoyable experience interacting with Dot as she effectively signed me up for my storage bin. The facility is new and comfortable. The location is easy to get to. Dot was the only employee working that day, but she made mw feel welcome and explained everything precisely. I like that this location has elevator access. I would highly recommend this location. read more

My initial review was based on my initial experience. BJ, the lady at the front, repeatedly asks you to review the place when you sign a contract (literally asked us about 6 times that day) --sure, why not? She is nice, but a bit naggy. It doesn't bother me as she is very sweet and hospitable. My only gripe is she never seems to be at the desk for one reason or another, and locks the door when she's away. Almost every occasion I've gone to visit my unit, I'd have to wait outside for her to come back. Once, I was with the movers who charged by the hour. We waited nearly 30 minutes for her to get back to the desk, and she locked the doors so we could not access a cart to move our stuff. Not good. This facility is so clean and the prices are better than other public storages I've seen. However, the layout of the actual building is what I hate! It is story-building style and only has ONE elevator! In addition to that, there's a sign that reads "Holding elevator doors is prohibited" How do they expect us to load and unload an elevator of belongings ?? Also, the day we moved in, another individual was moving in and the struggle for the elevator was ridiculous. In their defense, they needed it just as much as we did. If we were on the ground floor waiting to load our things, they'd be on the floor where their unit was waiting to come back down, or vice versa. It was a nightmare. If it wasn't for the elevator situation, this place would get 4 stars. If the lady at the front was more available, it'd get a full 5. We had 6 fully furnished rooms to store, if your load is a lot less than that I'd say go ahead and use this place. If you have super heavy and fragile items, use a storage facility that's ground level. read more

I met BJ when I went into the Owings Mills location. She was so nice and helpful. She made me feel that she really cared and felt my pain about having to use public storage. Kudos to great customer service! read more

Complained frequently about the lights being out in the hallways. Onsite manager says she does not have authority to purchase light bulbs. (Imagine that!) The District Manager, Julian Randall has not returned 3 phone calls. Not a particularly customer-friendly approach to business! read more

the manager, marnie, was an absolute delight. she made it fun and made sure i understood everything before i left. extremely happy i chose this location! read more

I only use this facility because my choices are limited at the moment. Customer service could be better and the fake "niceness" is the worst! Public Storage in general is lacking with the way they deal with customers, a simple call to ask for information or service always get a response in return as though you are disturbing the employees who are suppose to assist the customer. Just spoke with a representative who says her name is "Tasha/Sasha" and the attitude she exuded is an example and prime reason why I rather not deal with their "customer service". read more

After a rocky start renting the unit the General Manager, Eric Washington went over and above to make sure that our experience was top notch. I believe their customer service will definitely be the best with his leadership. I would definitely consider this location when looking to rent a unit. Clean and safe building which is so important!! read more

Fast and friendly service by BJ. She called me to confirm the appointment before I had even completed the online form. Highly recommend.

This was an excellent experience from the start where we met a very capable, friendly and professional woman named BJ. My husband and I are organizing and 'weeding' out our home of 35 years of life collections. Some will go to charity, some to yard sales and some to be listed on eBay. But we needed a safe, clean and accessible place to store our belongings. We visited several different businesses. This Public Storage was hands down the best. Easy location off of 795, this new property has excellent security, is super clean and easy to use. BJ was terrific! She explained all of our options, gave us a tour of the property and showed us exactly how to access our storage space. She made sure that we understood how to use the equipment and security features. We are very happy with our new unit and highly recommend this place to everyone. read more

The customer service of this place is terrible!!! Also they don't have Trolley available to carry your stuff, I was place on the second floor all the way to the back building. I always have to walk all the way to the front desk to sign up for a car go up on the elevator to the unit and do the same to return the d... trolley. Also they rise the price with no reason. This place sucks!! read more

I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. They had a new trainee that was basically reading from the book like a first grader. Grant it, I've been in the same shoes being new but reading from a book. The place is not accessible friendly; parking is horrible because it was roped off in the front because of a glass breakage issue. Our unit was all the way in the back; the floor was not accessible friendly; we had an issue in the elevator and could not reach the front office. i came back the next day to return a lock and was treated less than a customer. I would not recommend this place to anyone; extremely extremely poor customer service. read more

This is a wonderful storage office. They have a clean and well organized space. On Saturday, I met with Brianna and she was amazing. She showed me the storage space I reserved and also an alternative which turned out to be better. She was so pleasant and helpful, and she even showed me other things that they sell that I may need to make my move easier, it was such a great experience. A few days later, Ms. BJ called me to follow up and see how my move in went and if I had any concerns. These ladies are the best!!!! read more

This is a brand new state of the art store, it was well thought out and Ms. Bj is the greatest, very personable and professional. All stores need to take a lesson from her on great customer service. I quickly decided to do business with this particular facility due to location, location, location!!! And when I saw how new, clean, and extremely secure it is - I was sold!! The property manager, Danielle, was super personable & professional. Her experience was very apparent because she answered every question I had thoroughly, as well as, provided me with lots of useful information about the storage of my belongings. I will definitely recommend to others. read more
