I was out in Pleasanton helping a friend move and we stopped by to buy a few supplies at this business as it was just down the street. I have been a customer of Public Storage in the past and knew they would have just what we needed, what I wasn't counting on was the superior customer service we received from Debbie, she advised us on special pricing, and even offered ideas on a few items we had not thought about. We were very happy with the service from Debbie and David, setting up a storage space to hold inherited items. We arranged a space over the phone but when we got there we realized the furniture would have to be stacked awkwardly to fit. David helped out immensely by quickly showing us a differently shaped space and we had a much easier time moving because of the accommodation. read more

A day later the district manager of public storage called me after reading my review. She was very apologetic and offered to reimburse me for the month of February (even though I still had couches in the unit... My mom wanted to bomb the unit before bringing the couches into her storage unit down the street). I ended up having an exterminator come to my house just incase... And I asked her if they would be willing to pay for that but she said its against policy to do so... Which I read when I was researching so not that surprised. I'm glad they were able to offer me some sort of compensation for my frustrations with my unit. read more

This is one of the cleanest facilities I've ever been in. Friends of ours have storage in other facilities and we've seen those facilities, "but" by far this is the one you need to consider if you want to store anything, a vehicle, motorhome, boat etc. My wife and I have been using this particular facility for over twenty years. We have casually talked to the manager Debbie Simmons and her husband Al from time to time but don't know them personally. We heard that they have been managing this facility for approximately 18 years. Thats impressive, "WOW"! That tells you a lot about this company and how they take care of there employees. We store our work vehicles there which we use every day and I have an inside storage locker that I use in addition to all of this. A lot of the times that I go into this facility I see the managers husband working on the grounds every day. I noticed him cleaning out empty lockers, weeding, yes weeding, you can't believe the weeds that grow between the cement pads especially during the rainy season. In addition we've seen him doing security checks constantly. They make this a very clean and secure place. Al and Debbie are always trying to get to know everyone, I suppose thats important especially for security purposes, getting to know who's who. It leaves you feeling that they care. I have been storing motorhomes, cars, and furniture at this location since 1999. I live in Danville,, and there are many storage facilities closer to me. But the personal attention I have received from Debbie and Alan Simmons is the reason I'm here. They have both gone out of their way to take care of me. If you are looking for a Clean, Safe and Secure place to store, you will not be disappointed because Alan and Debbie won't let you be. I had a bad experiences with another public storage location, in San Ramon, Debbie even helped me with that problem and turned it into a positive experience. I do think it is quite expensive for the size of the unit but I guess there is a big demand for storage and hard to come by in this area - or so I am told. Hopefully I won't have to keep it there for too long. Nothing remarkable about the rental process so no real input on that either. Do not run from this place I was just ripped off been here for 6 years had no problems payment on time yeah Debbie let me down.

I found the owners to be very friendly and helpful when I first signed up for the unit. The facilities are clean. I never had an issue getting in or out of the facility. One time I did not set my lock correctly and the grounds manager gave me a call so I could correct the lock. I thought that was fantastic. I'm sure they would have fixed the lock but they don't have your combination. I checked out after 6 months of temporary use but wouldn't hesitate to return. read more
