We have had a unit here since March of 2022, and yesterday we went by remove our stuff and close the account. We were met with a DISASTER. Rats/other vermin had got into our unit and peed, pooped, and chewed on almost everything. We are having to throw away almost half of what we had stored there. I have used mini storage units off and on for the last 40 years, sometimes storing things for as much as 5 years, and I have NEVER had this happen. What should have taken 4 people less than an hour to load everything and take away ended up taking close to 3 hours to get it partly done. Thankfully we live close enough to go home and get gloves & cleaning supplies to clean stuff up, but we had to buy new storage bins because there also isn't a faucet available with a hose so we could clean off the bins and we don't want them inside our SUV in their current state. We will have to borrow a pickup truck to haul away the things still in the unit that are too filthy to salvage. This is DISGRACEFUL. And telling us to file an insurance claim for the damage isn't the point. This should never have happened in the first place. Why aren't steps taken to keep the facility vermin-free? The employee on duty yesterday tried to say it was our fault, because we should be coming by our unit "once a month" to keep the vermin away. Why would we do this? The first 8 months we had this unit, we did not do that, and when we did go by there, everything was just as we had left it. The employee also tried to blame us because of one box of Medifast diet food in the unit, and that it is in a rural area. Well, they didn't bother the Medifast all last spring, summer, and fall, so what do you say about that? I say BULL. For one thing, it's NOT a rural area, it's in town. Further, I had boxes and boxes of kitchen stuff, including spices, pasta and rice, stored in a unit in the hills of RURAL Lake County for over 4 years, and NOTHING was spoiled or damaged by vermin there. What happened since December 2022 that caused vermin to take up residence? We can't be the only people that this has happened to. I went in to get a storage unit and met the most lovely lady whose name is Misty. Misty was Amazing at her job even though she told me she was newly hired and still learning... She gave great customer service and treated me with kindness and respect. I do have to say though that the office that we were sitting in was SO COLD I couldn't even think straight!! She said she could hardly think straight either. Our teeth were chattering! I just feel sorry for her that she has to sit in that type of situation all day long... She has no access to the heating or AC unit and she called at least one time while I was there... Everybody thinks air conditioning is great until your high outside is 73 and inside it is like 65 and it's going non-stop blowing in your face was ridiculous... I am giving Misty five stars for her good customer service and commitment to follow through being a brand new employee. However I'm giving four stars to Tiger Storage because they could do better in regards to turning down the AC for the customers and for their employees. read more

Well I finally got myself out of Public Storage! Yay! Had a good conversation with Devon and because I was so gun shy from my Poor treatment by Public Storage he put me on the phone with his manager Jackie and she confirmed everything he said. I got there and was helped right away...filled out the contract and there were no surprises. You do have to provide proof of insurance. But I knew that going in. The facility is clean and secure and the hours and rates are better than Public Storage who raised my rent after only five months by 25%! Tiger says that they review rents after 320 days and it might go up 10%. Way better deal! My door latch was a little rusty so I found Devon and asked him and he immediately responded and fixed the problem. I'm so happy and I appreciated the professional way I was treated. Average "Special" Pricing, Manager is nice, but his wife is VERY RUDE (more like a down-right Bi+++). If you ever do anything wrong, such as throw your trash in the wrong bin, or stay later than the hours posted on the gate (even 5 mins past on the first day move-in) prepare to get a lecture(be yelled at in a B++++ tone) with a lot of mean threats and putdowns. Customers a #1, without them there is no business. There are a lot of empty units here, along with your fair share of crazy homeless people! Do not recommend storing your stuff here. read more

Used them for the U-Haul not the storage. This place is like any other U-haul place that has it as a secondary business and not a primary. They asked us to come in the night before our scheduled date because they knew the lady who would be there the next day did not know how to hook the trailer up. I am glad they were aware of this situation and let us know about it. I did not like having to come in a day early since I had already planned everything out but better that then dealing with someone who did not have a clue. All in all I recommend this place for a U-haul pick up. read more

Rudest attendant I have ever encountered! We wait outside in the heat and she comes in, not happy because she has to go to lunch in 10 minutes .. I ask about the wrong space size and she corrects me "no", but doesn't offer info unless I ask .. I asked if the 10x20 is the size of a car garage; and she smirks at my question like I am dumb .. She asks why I chose this location? so I indicate, because I rented at this location before .. Needless to say she was so awful, I left! I will not return here (EVER) and I do not recommend it to ANYONE. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at this particular facility. I originally was supposed to be at the Tiger storage on Aldar but after showing up (post reservation) the woman tells me that there are no more units (what good is making a reservation then?!?) My next stop was the Tiger Storage on Oates Drive (by the Sacramento Drive in 6) The customer service there was much better. I was in and out with my unit in 10-15 minutes (there was one person ahead of me!) with an excellent 50% special. I would definitely store there again. read more

MY sister stored her nice off white sofa set and her blue sofa set. The rats took bites out of the material and then they took a shit all over it! Shit pellets were all over it! The love seat didn't have crap on it but they had eating on it. The blue sofa didn't have rat turds on it but it did have rat piss on it and more then in one place. when we cleared the storage rat turds were everywhere. My brother went to the office to show the manger Pam and she had an attitude. I wouldn't use this storage if they gave me six months free! read more

Outstanding customer service every time I needed help. Larry Goodenough and Dianna Lowe went above and beyond the call of duty to meet my needs. From free use of the moving truck (in excellent mechanical condition) , cutting locks off because I had left my keys in Portland, extended gate hours to accommodate the van that was moving my goods to Washington. I had 2 doors on my unit and stuff in the back got lodged against the door and I couldn't open it. Larry spent over a hour getting the door open then helped me repack the front and rear of the unit. You don't see that kind of customer service much anymore. I would use them again in a heartbeat and rrcommend them to anyone. read more

I absolutely love this place!! They are just good people, you totally get that vibe the second you come in. When I first arrived, they quickly raced to shut the door behind me, as to not let the orange rescue cat out ..so, apparently they are a storage place but also rescue animals as well which I thought was super cool because I myself am a huge animal lover!! They even gave me the same price for one month for a 5 by 5 for an actual 5 by 10 because they were all out of what I had wanted. Such super cool and nice people. LOVE the bird cuddles who says goodbye to you when you leave (if your lucky!). Will definitely be back if I need storage in the future and for sure recommend it to anyone else considering. Also, Very secure. Triple locked because of gate, then door to hallway is locked, then your own secure lock on your actual storage unit. If you're wondering where to go---look no further.
