Ever since location manager Lily retired from 2255 Tully rd location, service has been terrible. There is NEVER any manager there to address any questions. We went when the office opened this morning, at 9:30 am in hopes of speaking to a manager in person. Two cars were in front of the office when we arrived. We went to briefly check our space, which is adjacent to the office then went to the office. One of the 3 cars was no longer there, and the office was locked up tight! We've tried calling and asking for return calls, to no avail. Horrible customer service and no managers around. I do NOT recommend this location read more

This public storage has been very good to me. We have been at this location for a couple of years. They are very nice and, it's always smooth sailing when I have a question regarding anything really. I highly recommend them. They helped me out by canceling my rate increase for 6 months. So thank you Jennifer, for all your help! read more

Erica, is one of the sweetest and kindest persons I've ever encountered. My father passed away about two years and she had the patience to explain how I was able to transfer his account under my name. Through moments of grief you learn to appreciate the kindness of strangers. Now, every time I see her she takes the time to talk and asks how my mother and I are doing. She recently helped me set up an online account and recommended i convent two small storages units into a larger one, which would save me a good amount of money. I never write bad reviews but this is an exception. This is by far the worst public storage location ever. If there was a negative star, I'd give 10 of them and here's why. I had one month that I did not pay which is April 2019 and April is not done yet and come to find out that they sold the unit on April 23rd. Very unethical and very unprofessional. I called the person today 4/27/19 who made the decision to sell the unit and his respond was to call him back some other time. It's people like these that give good companies bad names. I do NOT recommend this location specifically to anyone. And if you need more information regarding my review pls email me and I'd be happy to respond. I am so pissed to the point where I'm also asking a lawyer for help suing this person, basically because I don't want this to happen to anyone else. read more

Omg, this Public Storage reminds me why I don't like big chain brands. I made a pretty convenient reservation online, but immediately after I clicked to reserve I got an annoying phone call from a rep pushing me to lock in the reservation! The whole point of a reservation is to reserve until I'm ready to secure the reservation. She seriously rubbed me the wrong way at the wrong time. And the hounding didn't stop there... the annoying follow up calls shouldn't be confused with professional persistence. The multiple phone calls made me feel like they really weren't paying attention to my needs. I tried to give the poor girl the benefit of the doubt by telling her I'll call her if & when I decide to move in, but she disregarded my request and rambled for another minute before I lost my patience and hung up on her! She really wasn't listening... lol. Anyway, I don't want to move in to this place if I have to deal with that on a regular basis. read more

What can I say? First off, if you don't want your stuff stolen I would advise anyone to find somewhere else to rent from. PLEASE READ THIS - - - - Here are the issues with this place: 1. There are no cameras in the indoor storage units.(police confirmed this) 2. The only cameras onsite are cameras in the office and facing the gates. 3. The slide latches on the storage units are faulty.(police confirmed this) 4. The side gate to this place is always unlock so anyone can walk in and out.(police confirmed this) 5. Alot of people live on the property After getting my stuff stolen out of my storage unit and getting the police onsite to check out the break in, I was told to call the District Manager to see if he could help us get a temp unit that was secured....so after several calls and voice mails left, I NEVER once got a return call, so I decided to move everything out of the locker. I went with a Storage City facility....much better service atleast they give a shit!!! read more

This is a great storage facility. I was at Zavalas for a couple of years now and needed a special option for my business. Public Storage on Tully fulfilled my request. Big thanks to Miss Lily and young helper, Kiyana? I surely spelled the name wrong but either way, these two are fantastic and definitely the people you want managing your storage. I am a very satisfied customer and have only been with this unit for 6 months. Easy in, easy out. Friendly staff and customer service is what sells me. 5 stars across the board!!! read more

My sister and brother in law came with me to use the storage here. There are a lot of locations in San Jose but we were referred to come to this location by my sister's friend, even though it is a little bit of a longer drive for us, we were assured that the service was excellent here. It was my first time using public storage but my brother in law said they have good prices and was better than their competitors. Wendy at this location was more than helpful. My sister, brother in law, and myself are completely satisfied with the customer service we received. We will definitely recommend this location to our friends and family. This location gets two thumbs up! read more

Wow the customer service here is probably the worst I've seen at a storage company. Went to get a new unit and it seemed normal until the associate started to force the gentlemen in front of me to buy something off the wall, he tried to say no but she told him it was required since he is getting the first month for $1. That for sure is not correct, then she also told him the insurance is mandatory with the $1 promotion as well, which is also a lie. he tried to reject those lies but she forced it on him by telling him "well then you do not want the storage?" wow! So the guy in front ends up paying for everything she puts on and leaves paying $111 even though he was on the $1 promotion. It should be $24 dollars for the rental fee and $1 for the first month. Now it was my turn, I went through all the paper work and then she started telling me to "pick something off the wall" "for me" she said as if she was going to lose her job if I didn't buy something. Then she started grabbing things to and putting them on the counter as if I was going to buy them, so I told her firmly I am in a hurry and I would like to move in before you close at 6pm so she would stop asking me! Then came the insurance part... she told me it was the law so I had to google it to convince her that I'm California it is not the law to buy insurance for a storage unit, It is actually against the law for a storage company to force you to buy their insurance, As long as you state you have your own insurance through you home insurance you do not have to buy insurance form the storage company. She kept on telling me it is required! So I firmly told her no, I do not want it about 5 times before she quit asking me! Also, she told me buying a lock from her was also mandatory and that since the unit was a large unit I would have to buy 2 locks!!!!!! At that point I was done! I politely told her I would like to cancel this whole transaction. She told me ok, but she did not cancel it so I told her can you cancel it now? She told me yes but just looked blankly at her screen, I felt that she was going to charge me either way so I waited in the office to see her physically cancel the order. This was awful. Go to A-1 storage, they try to charge you this insurance scam fee too but the service is a lot better. read more

Overall, a good place. The lady who manages the place is helpful and friendly. The interior of the storage building is kept up fairly well. It is a bit dimly lit however. On the negative, one of their entry doors has been vandalized by the homeless and others who try to get in to the place. They have it padlocked on the inside but the door is ready to fall off the hinges because i think people have tried to rip it out from the outside. This really needs to be fixed immediately.
