Today I went to pay my payment and waited 1/2 hr .no body in office no sign when they will be back. Waiting in a hot car is not fun. At least they could have put a sign they will be back at a certain time but they did not very frustrating and not very helpful . I rented a parking space here while in Alaska for 8 months and it was the worst experience! They called me repeatedly while I was in Alaska, asking me to come move my car because another vehicle 'was rolling into' my parking space. I was unable to come get the vehicle (Alaska is kind of far away) and they said they had taken measures to prevent the 18-wheeler from rolling into my car. When I returned, the vehicle was less than an inch from my car, and my car had a long scratch down the side. The angle and damage to my vehicle and the other vehicle corresponded, and NOLA saw it and seemed to agree that the truck hit my car. She wouldn't give me any contact info, though, and said I should call my insurance company. When the insurance company called she was unhelpful and said she saw nothing. She refused to provide any contact info about the owner, or to give insurance info to my insurance company. When asked to contact the owner about the damage, she refused. WTF!!!! NEVER, EVER, EVER GO THERE. read more

The women was trying to sell me something upon my check in, but I rejected it. She then asked me to "rent" a lock from her, $20 a month, otherwise she couldn't rent that unit to me cause other locks don't fit. Of course I fell for it, all types of lock work, don't be fooled! Turned out she lied to me about renting the lock, I was told the lock was mine to keep at my check out. $20 for a lock? Public Storage is Ridiculous. read more

I had to downsize my storage and she made the process so quick and easy and went out of her way to accommodate my needs in that moment. I can tell she is a very hard worker and aims to please. I've been using this public storage for about 6 months and happy with their services. Easy to get in and out. Very clean and awesome people working there. Halloween I went to my unit, as I did just a few days prior to get some dresses. This visit I wanted my Halloween costumes. The lock didn't open. I tried a few times and it felt like my key just didn't work. As if my key was the wrong key. I was confused so I went to the office to ask for help. Some chick (which I've met several times before but she never told me her name she's only just paid my bill when I go in) said the guy she works with is "somewhere out there". Okay. Thanks. I go outside, look, don't see him and go back inside. I ask again. She seemed lost and didn't know what to do. So I ask if she could page him or walkie talkie him or something. She said she'll text him. She did and I waited. I waited for about 15-20 minutes. Finally he comes and I take him to my unit. He then tries to open my lock with my key and just as I couldn't open it, neither could he. I ask if there has ever been any problems with these locks before (there are public storage brand) and he said sometime with really old ones. Mine was less than a year and he said it has never happened to him before. I asked if it was possible that someone broken in. He said possible someone tried and damaged the lock in the process OR someone already broke in and changed the lock with a replacement. I ask the guy if we need him to break the lock when could we do that. He tells me that ONLY his district manager is allowed to break locks and he only comes maybe once a month to this location. WTF. He then asks me to have my sister come down and try hers. That's fine I said since that makes sense. It was a couple of days before my sister could come down and try her key because of her workload. But she did and the same problem. Her key wouldn't work. They told her the same thing about someone possibly trying to break in and jamming the lock in the process. They then said it would now cost us $40-60 for them to break it open. Here's my problem: I paid $11 monthly insurance for this very problem and you're still going to charge us???! My sister left, I was at work so I wanted us both to be there if/when they broke into it. I took on a 2nd and 3rd job for November so my schedule was packed and I never could get down there to let them break in. I let 2 weeks pass by and I call asking when the person who can break in is coming. They said MAYBE tomorrow. I said I couldn't go tomorrow because of work. Ok so I let another week go by and call again-I talk to the guy again... he tells me to come in a sign a WAIVER. This waiver will let them break open my unit without me present and they will put a replacement lock until I can get to it myself. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THIS FROM DAY #1???!!!!!!! So all those weeks were wasted on waiting for nothing?!!?! How unhelpful could you be?! Another week passes before I go in and sign that stupid waiver. I signed. The girl calls me a few days later saying they opened it and to come in whenever to look at my unit to make sure everything is fine. I tell my sister because she was more flexible than me to go look at it. She does- then she calls me when she's there and asks me if I have the keys. I'm like "what keys?" She said the chick said that I had the keys to the new lock they put on for us. Um, no. I don't I haven't even been there since they broke our lock. So I call them myself-meanwhile my sister left. I talk to the same girl and she asks me if I have the keys. I tell her the same thing! I haven't been there!! So she was like "oh" they must be lost! THEY LOST OUR KEYS and were trying to blame me?! Ugh!!!! They called me later that day and said they found them. I went 2 days later (DEC 4th) and we finally got to see our unit. Everything looked okay. Nothing missing. But it took us this long to get it open. From Halloween to December. What a horrible way of doing business. When we got it open I was so livid I got all my belongings and packed my car. My sister did the same. We were 100% not staying there another day. On our way out - I left first. They stopped my sister. The guy, he told her that if we are going to leave in the middle of the month that we owe them 1/2 months rent. FIST OF ALL WE WOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE IN DECEMBER IF YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL IN THE BEGINNING AND TOLD US ABOUT THE DAMN WAIVER - THAT WOULD HAVE SAVED 3 WEEKS. WE WOULD HAVE SAVED ANOTHER 2 DAYS IF YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LOST THE KEYS. 2ND OF ALL HALF MONTHS RENT FOR DECEMBER 4TH?! REALLY?! Another thing- I was reading some reviews just now and it looks like all the customers who mention these workers by name- it's weird. All the times I came in every month- NEVER once did either of those workers introduce themselves by name. Not to me, not to people I watched them help, not to my sister, not anyone I witnessed. They never wear name tags- so how is it that when people review this place-they mention them by name???? My suspicion is the reviews are of their friends praising these people. Disgrace. I used this public storage for a bit while storing my things and car. Nola, the manager, was so friendly and nice and always helpful!! She remembered me and I really enjoyed working with her! If you're looking for good service this is a great public storage. My only negative thoughts are my unit was a little spider-weby/dusty and I found some bugs on my stuff - but I guess you get that with storage units. read more

No problem with service or staff. Was easy to move in and set up, easy to use online payments. But very disappointed that after I had a unit for about two months they changed the hours and now you can only access your unit until 6pm weekdays and 5pm weekends. I want to give credit to Nola the manager & Chris her sidekick as the people behind the scene when I placed everything in storage at their facility. I moved to the State of Ohio & figured I would return maybe in a year, but that never happened and it became apparent that I would remain here with my family. Nola gave great service & Chris called to remind me of bills due & I paid on-line most of the time, but if it was not for their service, I would not have had my personal belongings safe, which included a lot of Rescue Gear that was too valuable to lose. It is peak Tornado Season here & the gear is being shipped to me as I type this review. I had originally rented a very large unit & downsized from it to a 5x10 & here again they handled the transfer with no problems what so ever! Kudos to the team there and many thanks! read more

very very bad service. when i rented space, i did not get $1 deal, no problem, they made me buy lock from them, even i had lock from Public Stores brand. they said it is old, you need to buy new lock to get space. i did not had choice because of time, same lock available at hardware store for $6.99, i paid $19.99 read more

Service great. People friendly. The place is open from 6am - 9pm 365 days a year. There's security so you feel safe. You can only get in and out of the place by using a code. The only thing i don't like is the air. I feel as if there's a landfill or garbage joint nearby. I get that yucky smell sometimes and me no likey. You can pay your bill online too. Other than that, perfect place for storing your junk ^_^ read more
