We rented one of several commercial spaces at this location and Kelly and staff have been extremely helpful in the process of settling in, holding mail and UPS packages and answering questions. More bad news about this place. My sister had a unit there and she only used their cylinder lock that they provide. She didn't put a second lock on and someone broke into the unit and took everything! Furniture,jewelry etc. She found out that the 'security camera's' there are fake! If you have to rent from this place make sure you get one of those round silver locks (with keys that only you have) made especially for these units. They sell them there along with other packaging supplies or you can buy them at a hardware store. read more

My review is for Brandi and this location. I have never rented a storage unit before or have moved in 10 years. So not only was this move an emotional one, it was just difficult with no help. I rushed ocer to have a tour of facility, only to have left my wallet at the house in the uhaul!!! I got there at 450 the process was 30 min. She went above and beyond and stayed past closing because I was about to have a melt down. I was able to call my aunt from up the street who paid for the unit so I didn't lose it. Thank you soooooo much Brandi!!! You have no idea how appreciative I am and how you helped !!! The facility is really well taken care of. Oh by the way, when they say be done by 9pm they mean it. I figured as long as we were in before then and already loading things into elevator beforehand we would be ok. But nope baaaaaahaaaaa. I ended up leaving elevator loaded with my belongings and storage unit wide open !!! Returned following day at 6am with everything still in place!!! read more

This Public Storage facility at 1060 Stewart Drive, Sunnyvale, CA is very easily accessible from 101. Our rate for a 4'x7' unit was relatively reasonable and Rochelle provided excellent customer service. read more

We had storage at this facility for a little over a year. The customer service was fantastic, walking us through all the different sized places until we chose one. Whenever I needed anything Richard was extremely helpful and explained everything. You can often get a deal online, but over the course of the year the price did creep up several times. read more

There is much Gimmick on this business - Lack of transparency on business and policies . 1. ) Plan your move-in well in advance ; these guys are so tricky on business . 2. ) The move-in promotions are so tricky - be aware of horrible non-transparent business approaches on billing cycles and other side business efforts on Locks, packing items (the pricing on each of the items are almost 50% higher than regular supply shots) . 3. ) The $1 promotion is a trap (as they state it is for 30 days , but when it comes to billing cycle - they play a lot on start of the billing cycle Vs the 30 days. 4. ) Though the billing cycle starts at the beginning of every month - though the promotional $1 is applicable only upto the end of the moth we move in-! - strange!!! . 5. ) everyone in the facility I met is so cunning on one or other way of non-transparent business and taking our money away! 6. ) Forcing us to buy the third party insurance - please have your renters insurance. 7. ) forcing us to buy their locks - simply get a disk lock from ideal supply store (lowes, Homedepot/amazon, etc) read more

Most helpful staff ever! I wish I could have done business with them but the type of unit I needed was not available. They proceeded to make tons of calls until they found a place for me (which I'd been trying to do for myself for weeks!) and made sure I was comfortable with what they found. We were in today to rent a 6 x 12 in anticipation of a move to a smaller place where we might not have enough space. Aranza (?) helped us and she was very good, very nice made sure we got the online discount showed us the space etc. This is my 2nd time storing here the first time I had a much bigger one for stuff going through probate so it's nice to have a much smaller unit and we got ours right next to the door so perfect. It's a storage unit if you're expecting it to be fancy or something it's not, but it is perfect for storage. read more

Online reservation was super-easy, coming in to see the unit was super-easy, staff is super adorable and helpful. Highly recommend this location for the customer service! However, they're all about add-ons and extras that add to your tab, so assume every posted rate includes an additional $25 start-up fee, and another $10 a month for required insurance. The folks that work at this location of Public Storage have been great, especially Yuri. I showed up at 4:30PM on a Saturday, just 30 minutes before they closed at 5. Many other customers were there to either lease a storage unit or pay their bills. Even with the build up of customers, Yuri took the time to show me around the place, inspect a unit, and handle all the paperwork. This meant he stayed late to help me out and this level of customer care is something you don't see often anymore. Regarding the facility. The price was excellent for the area. The security is great compared to others, and they have a new climate controlled building. The place is easily accessible with plenty of parking even on busy weekends. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the lack of moving carts. Most locations include share-able flatbed carts you can use to quickly and easily move boxes to and from your storage unit. However the two times I was at the facility, I only saw maybe two of these. This location is massive compared to others and there should honestly be more carts! When I inquired about it at the office, it was said that hired movers or customers have been known steal the carts. Whether or not this is true, I don't know, but carts or even moving dollies should be standard and readily available. I was lucky enough to borrow a cart from another customer who wasn't actively using it. I only needed it for 1 trip (rather than making 5 trips). The next time I came, I brought my own dolly. read more

get a contract that last longer. less than 6 months in storage & already a 15% rental increase. try a non PS location - they had warned me that there were places that raised rates regularly. but that amount is crazy high with promises of it going up in another few months. their corporate customer service says it's "month to month" market pricing & doesn't care about customer retention. read more
