Literally the worst customer service in life!! My gf and I got a unit here only because we had to leave where we were staying abruptly and it was close to that spot. That being said we counted on convience, the convience of being able to organize our stuff without being hassled and come and go as we pleased within reasonable limits and maybe use the restroom here and there or drop off a small bag of trash?! WRONG. When we asked to use the restroom we got hit with a" YOU CANT WASH UP HERE" ; who said we were doing that. So the next time I went to use it I *** excuse the next few sentences I don't wanna share this but feel it necessary to let the audience know how uncomfortable he made me and how out of pocket he was**** so I ...used the restroom then decided to throw my boxers away cuz I had started my period. Didn't think I needed to share that with the manager. Yet when we got to my unit I got a call saying " I told u u can't wash up." To which I replied I didn't. "Well there was undergarments in the trash can so ....if it happens again you will need to leave ". I'm so embarrassed still talking about it. Like as a female or anyone really it's my business what i do in the restroom I was In there 2 minutes. Sooo inappropriate. Not only that but he also harassed us on a regular basis coming down to our unit trying to see in even though we had nothing to hide. He also timed us when we came at night time even though I paid for 24 hr access then one time we came late since we had 24 hr access and before I could get out of my vehicle I was getting spotlighted by the local police department. I got out to walk to my unit only to meet a loudspeaker, " excuse me WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" , " UH GOING TO MY UNIT," I replied my voice shaking with fear."uh no the owners called and want u removed from the property" I hurried and left but was pissed. Called the owners the next day ....to get a response we have no idea we didn't do that.....mhmmm. anyhow needless to say we don't rent here anymore f them. read more

Do yourself a favor and find a different storage facility. I've been renting 2 units since August and I've had nothing but issues. The light didn't work in my unit for the first 2 1/2 months. The door seals on both units are shot and all sorts of debris blows in every day. The sheet rock above the door is falling apart and causing sheet rock dust to get on everything. The concrete in front of the units is covered in moss and is so slippery. The roofs are completely covered in moss. The grounds aren't lit very well at all. And the last few times I've been there I've had random people walk or ride their bike by my unit. Most likely coming in through the pedestrian gate that's never latched closed. The only thing keeping me there was the price. That was until I just got an email stating that my monthly rent was going from $208 to $306 as of January 1st. I haven't even been there 4 months and they're raising it that much? I absolutely would not recommend renting from this location! They said they would comp me some plastic to put over my stuff, instead of fixing what needs done... read more

This place does nothing but scam you. When u first start renting it's not bad. Other then the fact they don't tell you it's rat infested and all your stuff gets ruined. Then they jack your rent up. Value of this place is horrible over charged for the worst quality and conditions. read more

if I could do no stars I would. worst places I've even been to, terrible customer service. Terrible direction. they harass and try to be little you. they gave me a code with 7's in it to get into my unit and the code pad only went through 1-5 so I was unable to access it at all. Tried to get a new pin and they refused, and I don't even have the unit more then 24 hours, refused to give me a refund after harassing me saying the pin would work when I had 3 witnesses that saw the door pad. This place is legitimately TERRIBLE with terrible service. My father in law passed away in October and we haven't been able to get his stuff out in the months following despite the fact that we are the executors of his estate and now are the ones on the rental agreement. They've refused to give us access to the unit, are never at the facility during our agreed upon times and even threatened to put the unit up for auction despite our numerous attempts to come by, pay and remove his belongings. We've been charged over a thousand dollars + late fees for months of refused access. No one will return a phone call. They claimed last week our unit was "broken in to" and then claimed it was actually them who broke our lock and left it unattended overnight. When we came to inspect the unit our codes were again locked and we were unable to move anything out. This has been four months. They are extended the grieving process. LET US GATHER OUR FATHERS BELONGINGS. DISGUSTING people who clearly just want to take advantage of a grieving family. read more

I have never seen such a disorganized business in my entire life. Full disclosure was not made about paying for a lock and insurance. There was no one at the office. When we finally got the contract completed the access codes did not work but by then the office person had disappeared. The codes were eventually reset and we gained access to our locker which looks to be one of the most insecure facilities I have ever seen. The location map supplied with the codes was the exact opposite of where we were told the unit was located. It was supposed to be climate controlled. It was a hot day in Portland Oregon and it was sweltering in there. Most likely I will terminate this contract before it renews on September 1 and move my belongings to extra space storage where I've had a good experience in another part of Portland. Stay away from this place and unless you want to be constantly frustrated. read more

I'll start by saying I've had a unit at this location before, and it was great. Customer service was great, but my most recent experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I reserved a 5x10 unit online, saw it in person and was openly debating with my boyfriend whether it would be big enough or not in front of the employee. She said the next size up was a 10x10, but we decided to make the 5x10 work since she said a 1 bedroom apartment should fit in a 5x10. We got 50% off the first month, and at a rate of $100 a month plus the admin fee and insurance, I paid $80. The next day as we are packing, we realized we were going to need something bigger. I went in and asked to transfer to a larger unit, and was told by the SAME girl that had helped us the day before, that there was transfer fee, and that the 50% off promo wouldn't apply to the new unit. This information would have been really helpful to know when she heard us debating on the size the previous day. The rate for a 10x10 was $175 a month, so we would have to pay an additional $85 to switch. We ended up having to rent a 10x15 (because believe it or not it was cheaper), pay for it, and then immediately vacate the 5x10 that we had already paid for. When I asked for a refund for the $80 I had paid the previous day, they best they could do was say they could mail me a check for $9. So I basically threw $70 in the garbage can which could have been avoided with better customer service both before renting and after switching. read more

Theeeee most disgusting service I have ever received. I wish this employee had been professional enough to give her name in the 1 st place. I had went to Public Storage 13473 SW Pacific Hwy and received absolutely no help FOR 3 days... I was told if I went online prices were cheaper and I would receive the keys right away to my unit. So I leave and get charged not once not twice but three times for a unit. I go to this location at 5:15!!! I ask where my money is and her and her boss has absolutely no idea because " I don't have an account" they have nothing but a reservation number, mind you... you cannot make a reservation without and account. I ask to just pay for the 4TH time because I am in desperate need of a storage, And was denied service because this employee was supposed to be out at 6! I leave because I know what it's like to want to leave at the end of my shift. I have my husband go the next day at 5 o'clock again so she can help and have enough time, I get there at 535 and she has not called anyone, has not done a damn thing and has still denied us PAYING FOR A NEW UNIT!!!!!! SHE HAD TOLD MY HUSBAND FROM 5:15 - 6 they no longer sell storage units. EVEN After she had referred me to pay online.... just so she wouldn't have to do her job. I get there and with little to no patience I tell her 1 I cannot make a reservation with out an account, 2 you have taken money several times from my bank, so obviously I have an account. She beings to scream at me saying " for the 100th fucking time I cannot find you in my system" in FRONT OF MY 3 year old son!!! As anyone else I popped off and said something I should not have, followed by her foaming at the mouth telling me not to judge? Calling me a whore, telling me to leave her office. And saying she was calling for back up. ALL IN FRONT OF MY SON.... I call her district manager DarrenWiley who manages the public storage from Hillsboro to Portland Oregon locations. To get a call back saying the way I conducted myself in the matter was also inappropriate. He said it was in his employees best interest if I located my storage else where. I am by NO MEANS am saying I was appropriate. But I could have been at the police station and said worse when it comes to my son. I Also am NOT EMPLOYED AND BEING PAID FOR SUCH BEHAVIOR. I'm really pleased with this Public Storage location, in fact, it is the second time I've used them. The property is so clean, and I was able to get a unit quickly. The customer service is always great there, both in person, and on the phone. I was late to my first appointment (my fault), but was offered another appointment the very next day without penalty. Chris helped me check in and even though it was a busy day, he efficiently handled everything and there was hardly a wait. The cost isn't the most expensive out there, but not the cheapest, but worth how smoothly everything runs there. read more
