That lets go camping for 3k extra charge is a scam...they had to weeks to prepare the vehicle for pick up, saying that they will make sure that they fix whats needs to be fixed. We went to pick up our trailer and they didn't have a proper person with the financing department and had Kile do everything which seemed to be the supervisor and he smelled like he been drinking. I did not have a great experience purchasing an RV at Camping World Newhall, CA. My experience was "sell, sell, sell," and a lack of good customer service, which is unfortunate. After 2 months, I still don't have a piece that goes in the coach and I have had to reach out to them over 4 times (should be the other way around) to ask if anyone is finding or ordering it. There are a few good people in that store, thankfully. I appreciate them. Overall, management is over consumed with sales and not hearing the customer. My sales person was useless. They upsold me a package (over $2k) that gives me a membership, a walk-through of my newly purchased RV (yep, just as that reads- they wont walk you through the product you are buying unless you pay thousands), toilet paper, connectors, tube, plastic level legos etc and said I can always use their on-site dump. That last was a perk. I had my first trip on the last week of the year and drove from camp to Camping World to use their dump, only to find that the dump was closed. According to employees, it had been closed because it was full for days and the city was not coming to do their job. Days later, another employee told me that it was still closed. Recently took my RV in for service at the Valencia Camping world due to the furnace being installed wrong. I thought upon pick up everything was ok. Over the Easter weekend I took my RV out camping and when I arrived at my campsite I opened my trailer to not only find poop in the toilet but the entire black tank full like it was used as a bathroom while in service. Not only am I extremely upset that my RV was used as a port o potty but that is extremely unhygienic and just utterly disgusting. I know the tanks were empty when I dropped it off as I emptied them myself before hand as camping world will charge you $100 if not. To add to this due to the tank being full I had to hook back up after I was already parked and drive to the nearest dump station which was an hour away and when dumping found out that the bracket that holds my black tank was cut. read more

I bought a 2025 grey wolf trailer. The sales person Jerry Regalado was very nice but very pushy. Tried very hard to make a sale and would say anything to appease me. And he made a HUGE mistake. He told me the refrigerator was propane / electrical. I took his word for it and didn't research it further since all the trailers I've ever used in the past were that way. So I buy the trailer, take delivery of it, and use it. And then BINGO! All my food spoils because I'm off grid, and refrigerator (12volt) needs shore power or a generator hook up. I tried many many times to talk to Kyle or Dustin (the sales managers) but they refuse to even take my call. I have left many messages for them. I've heard of how Camping World was lacking in customer service and accountability but to witness it first hand was something else entirely. When you shell out $60,000 -on the biggest purchase we've made in our lives- you anticipate people going above and beyond and having a sense of respect and duty to satisfy the customer. Camping World is a scam! The RVs are the worst. Our first camping trip and water leaked from the grey tank. It took them over 2 months to repair and we kept getting the run around. Now our tankless water heater isn't working, we dropped it off over 3 months ago and we keep getting the run around about the parts not arriving or arriving broken. First and foremost, I don't wanna bash anyone. This is my first time ever on yelp writing a review, and I have to say my first encounter at this place of business was not a good felt one I walked in and told the woman at the front desk that I wanted to look at some RVs because I really liked RVs as a child and one day. She began to explain to me that she can call over one of the salesman to show me some RVs, which was cool, but I made it clear that I wasn't gonna buy one TODAY, but that I just wanted to look at some just to get an idea of what i really would like so in my head if someone does that I would assume that they are a potential buying customer which I'm sure she did not assume because the business that she was running with me was just one for someone that she knew was gonna buy an RV Which is not how you run a business everyone that walks through the door is a potential customer a potential buyer so you need to treat them as one which she did not because after I said that she instantly said yeah all of our salesman and women are now busy literally right after I said that which did not make sense because she just said that she can call one right up, so she proceeds to say that we can just go and look at the little RV that was inside of the building towards the back which I did with my girl and it was cool, but I still wanted to see some other options so I began to look around for someone that could assist me with that, and I ended up running into one of the salesman named Jerry regalado and I told him hey I would like to look at some RVs outside. Do you think that is possible and he proceeded to say yeah just go up right to the front desk and tell her and she would instantly call one of us up because I saw at least three available sales men and women. So I went back up to the older lady at the desk and told her hey Jerry said all we have to do is come up here and asked to look at some RVs and they will come right up because he is available and after I said that I can tell I caught her off guard a little bit because she started to stutter slightly. Then she went back there to Jerry and I don't know what was said, but from my assumption based off of how she was running business, she could've just told him. Hey this guy is not gonna buy an RV. It is not that serious you don't do that to a potential buying customer. You're already neglecting a potential sale that does not work that is not good business. To wrap this bad experience up Jerry great guy, but I can tell that he definitely looked down on me and maybe what I represent and do for living because I can tell he was belittling me based off of what he was saying like I couldn't afford something or that I shouldn't like this because it's not gonna be in my price range as if he knew what was in my bank account, which isn't good and I felt a little bit judged so to wrap all this up please do better business because you're not gonna go far doing bad business thanks bye-bye...oh and just to put this into perspective I kind of felt like maybe had to do with something along the lines of me being black... read more

Never have I been so disappointed by a company representing high end trailers. I was in the market for a change to our current trailer setup. This would have been my 7th RV purchase. My wife and I went to the lot to see what options might be available. Mind you, I was trading in a 2022 Forest River Salem (NADA lists its trade value at $35,000). Camping World, not only could not find our very popular trailer on NADA for 2022, they decided to use the 2021 NADA price and offered $15,000. They claimed they couldn't find the 2022 information. Absolute rip off. Now we find the same trailer we planned on buying for $10,000 less in many locations throughout So Cal. Camping World made it very clear they were not interested in a deal, rather more interested in maintaining a 50% margin, which is ridiculous. If dealers made 50% margins on RV's and cars, we'd all be riding horses. Incidentally, the trailer we were going to purchase was brand new. Camping World makes their customers pay an extra fee if you want to be sure what you are getting actually works. They test nothing. If the tanks leak, too bad. Solar isn't hooked up correctly, too bad. Windows leak, too bad. Really? Buyers beware - they are the worst dealership for honesty, integrity and customer service. Buyers beware!!! Fraud!! Sketchy conduct of doing business. Kept our $2,000 down payment after trailer purchase was not approved by financing bank. Then manager lied saying we would get our deposit back by 2/14/25, that was sent to bank 2/01/2025. Even lied and said we can call our bank to get money quicker, if need money quicker. Today I called bank and denied they hold money that is returned. They might whole a percentage for a few days. Will file complain BBB and with corporate. Lucia Pelayo was assigned to assist us with the sale and paper work. I guess they thought "let put a Spanish speaking salesperson to gain their trust". Prior to her we were shown trailer by older African salesman Each time we call to inquire managers are busy or in meeting. No one on the floor to assist. When we went they were a bunch employees just hanging around. Not really much customers coming and it was the weekend. Put a dispute with bank and will take months to investigate. Is it our fault for trusting them? Yes! We we ignorant and didn't look at their rating online. First time looking in buying a camping trailer. They just told us it's very different to buying a car. I understand sometimes banks say no, but why shake hands tells done deal, here get on the phone buy insurance for the trailer, then will call you in a couple days with answer from bank.(It's weekend so some aren't open. We visited with regret 1/25/25. They took our money sent us home. Went silent for days until we started calling and texting. It was like pulling teeth to get a concrete answer! We wouldn't hear from Lucia Pelayo unless we would text and would not even reply same day. Then we would call to ask for her, to be told she's off today. The day she told us Woodlawn have an answer from us. Didn't tell us we didn't get approved until 1/28/25 after us asking. She emailed me a number to cancel trailer insurance, after we asked via phone. My husband spoke to her and asked her to email us date when they were going send our down payment back. She never did. We wanted record on email. I emailed her asking she never reply. We believed known company would better place for doing business, than a mom's & pop's dealer, but we were so wrong . Not only did they ran my credit multiple times causing multiple dings on it. Now left us with the headache of getting money back. An older Hispanic man working there named Francisco took our debit and ran it.All working there should be ashamed. Karma remember we all have families ! This Camping World employees are not helpful, they are rude and they seem to not believe in the old adage, "the customer is always right." We had a situation where we needed parts ASAP and the store closes at 7:00 p.m. We arrived at the store at 6:50 p.m., came in and parts was closed (hmmmm), fortunately one of the parts we needed was on the shelf, but the most important part was not. At first Ivy seemed helpful, going back and looking for "the part" coming back with what she believed was the correct part. It looked like the right part ad she never allowed us to completely match the part. Next when we went to check out we had cash (now this is America), Ivy told us she could not take the cash only credit card and proceeded to try and get me to open a Camping World Credit Card, basically saying there was nothing she could do about it. We said we don't want the change just give us the receipt and we will pay and keep the change. The items were $44.98, we handed over $45.00 and said keep the change, again Ivy stated no we can't do that we have to give you the $0.02. Fine give us the $0.02. Once home the one important part was not what we needed and of course by that time everyone was closed. We have called in the past and talked to Andrew who is never helpful but makes sure to always be rude. I don't believe there is anyone at this store that has any knowledge of RVs and the parts. But unfortunately we have no where else to go that actually has parts for RVs in bulk. But I believe corporate needs to step in and say something to their store employees. read more

Visited here for the first time over the weekend, a young gentleman by the name of Sam assisted us, and it was very helpful and patient and answered our questions. I enjoyed the fact that he listens to what we were looking for and provided us with multiple options and understood what we were looking for. Being that we are avid campers by nature of using a tent. We are new and currently in search for a mobile trailer and we thought we would stop here first. I also like the fact that camping world is located in numerous locations. But from the minute, my boyfriend and I walked to the door, we were greeted, and Helped right away. This location is also a service location for your RV. As well as sales and they are a store located inside that you can purchase almost anything that you're needing for your trailer. Located right off of the freeway at a convenient location. At the end of our visit Sam was also very helpful with narrowing down, a few of our favorites and emailing SI reviewing's to help us decipher what we liked the most. We did think that some of the preowned ones were still a little high priced but as stated we like to the fact that they had multiple options to look at. This is the worst company ever they are liars, cheats, and thieves. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I purchased a brand new keystone hideout travel trailer from them about three years ago during Covid. I immediately noticed that on very hot days. The black water tank seemed to be leaking especially on hot days. Because it was new it was under warranty, so I took it to them to have it checked out. They had it for several days and did nothing except cause more damage. There were new dents and my ladder in the back had been damaged also the cap for storing my electric cable was missing. They did not even open the underbelly to take a look at the leak. I'm a disabled veteran and don't use it much but the couple times I used it, it got worseover time. After, a couple years of dealing with this a friend of mine that knows RV repair came over this week. He took the underbelly off and helped me fix the leak. He noticed that it was obvious on the side where the black water drains, Camping World tried to fix it. They removed the screws and had used nails to seal the side and made it very difficult to remove the underbelly. Apparently they knowingly sold me a damaged unit and that is why they did not take a look at it when I brought it in for service. It would've taken too much time for them to remove the nails they had put in. They may have damaged the underbelly and had to replace it. This is a very evil and dishonest company and you should stay clear of them. I found out they have a lot of lawsuits against them for doing similar shady business. They truly do not care about their customers. I would never go back to that location nor would I ever recommend them. read more

They have lied to me several times, several, saying they were waiting for the electronic title, which there is no such thing, and have lied to me several times about payment being sent. Once they told me the check is being cut, yeah, the check is in the mail game. Sad, I really would have kept my RV.
