    After my first camping trip in my new RV (from Camping World Newhall), I decided to use one of my benefits... only to find this.

    I did not have a great experience purchasing an RV at Camping World Newhall, CA. My experience was "sell, sell, sell," and a lack of good customer service, which is unfortunate. After 2 months, I still don't have a piece that goes in the coach and I have had to reach out to them over 4 times (should be the other way around) to ask if anyone is finding or ordering it. There are a few good people in that store, thankfully. I appreciate them. Overall, management is over consumed with sales and not hearing the customer. My sales person was useless. They upsold me a package (over $2k) that gives me a membership, a walk-through of my newly purchased RV (yep, just as that reads- they wont walk you through the product you are buying unless you pay thousands), toilet paper, connectors, tube, plastic level legos etc and said I can always use their on-site dump. That last was a perk. I had my first trip on the last week of the year and drove from camp to Camping World to use their dump, only to find that the dump was closed. According to employees, it had been closed because it was full for days and the city was not coming to do their job. Days later, another employee told me that it was still closed. That is not a service I want to pay for and clearly cannot depend on them.

    After being contacted by corporate, ensuring something would be done to rectify and accommodate our situation, neither the service manager, Ashley, OR the general manager, Chris, introduced themselves, personally offered any kind of guarantee NOR did they pose any helpful solutions to the manufacturing issues and faulty state our purchase was in at the time of receipt. I've heard of how Camping World was lacking in customer service and accountability but to witness it first hand was something else entirely. When you shell out $60,000 -on the biggest purchase we've made in our lives- you anticipate people going above and beyond and having a sense of respect and duty to satisfy the customer. If I could give zero stars, I would. ESPECIALLY after imposing on us unnecessary and avoidable costs. Add insult to injury? They didn't even wash it. DO NOT go here. When you do, they dint care after your check has cleared.

I am very proud to help you find the Right model for your vacation and budget. I love talking about my experience. During 2020 lost my job during the pandemic. I came to Camping World in Valencia to purchase a trailer. With a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, I picked up a 2020 Grey Wolf 26DBH. At my age of 58. I traveled for months doing something that I would hope to do when I retire. We traveled all of California Coast, Seen Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Sedona landed on the 80 Fwy going toward New York. TV shows the White House as a huge Building. It looked small to me. Every state had something to see Utah, Colorado, Kansas etc. My Favorite Mount Rushmore. An Amazing site and What an Amazing Forest. I always say "Camping is the least expensive way to enjoy a vacation" plus you wake up in your own bed. If you have a question on how to get started, just ask me or come by to Camping World in Valencia ask for me. My main goal is for you to go camping. Experience this Beautiful World and have Lasting memories for you and your family. Thank you!

As a casual amateur fisher-dad that doesn't want to disappoint the kids (and wife lol) every time we go fishing, I would like to sincerely thank this shop and the staff that assisted our visit here last Sunday. Not only did we feel welcomed, we were taken care of with genuine kindness and helpful information. I wish I remembered the employee's name, he was the only one there on a Sunday morning, but he was excellent. He helped answer all the questions we had about our fishing trip to Castaic Lake for the first time. He showed us all the recommended baits/lures/tackles, educated us on different casting setups, and took the time to show us how to efficiently and effectively tie everything together. With his recommended products and setup (that he helped put together) on my daughter's toy fishing pole, she caught her first fish (bass!) within 10minutes of being on the boat. At the end of the half-day fishing trip she caught 2 and the wife caught 1 all with the products that he recommended. Not too bad for first timers there on a "slow" day! Thank you Tackle Express! We'll definitely come back for our next fishing trip.

I am always hesitant to order boots that I cannot test fit first, but I was assured I could exchange them if I needed a different size. So, I went ahead and ordered the boots online and also added a t-shirt that caught my eye. When the order arrived, the boots fit good but the t-shirt was a size too small. A couple of days ago I drove to the retail store to simply exchange the t-shirt for the next bigger size, which they had in-stock. That's when I was shocked to find out that they could not exchange the shirt for a bigger size. The reason given was that they changed their return policy and all online order returns must be done by shipping the item back to their warehouse. I asked the salesperson if I could just drive to the warehouse (2.4 miles away) to make the exchange, but was told the warehouse is now closed to the public. (I'd visited the warehouse in the past to pickup previous orders held in will call.) So when I went home and got online to process a return/exchange, I found out that I am required to pay $15.00 for a FedEx shipping label to have the item shipped. For a $16.00 t-shirt, it's ridiculous to pay $15.00 to ship the item back just to exchange it for the proper size. I've been a customer of LAPG for several years and have always been pleased with the retail store staff, but I am not at all pleased with this new corporate exchange/return policy. Seems ridiculous that I could not simply exchange a t-shirt which is one size too small for the correct size shirt which is right there, in-stock, just because the original purchase was done online. The only reason I originally made the order online was because the boots I wanted were not stocked in-store. So if I'd been able to originally purchase the boots and t-shirt in-store, I would have been able to exchange the t-shirt in-store. But, because I purchased online, I have to pay $15.00 for shipping so I could get the correct size shirt? This makes absolutely no sense and online buyers should be aware of this ridiculous policy.

    This flagship Patagonia store, which is located next-door to their corporate headquarters slightly…read moreto the northwest, is done so well and really exudes the same Patagonia style that you see in their products. To give some context you will see Great Pacific Iron Works written across the top of the store, which was Patagonia's first store, opened in 1973 in the former Hobson meat-packing plant, near Chouinard's blacksmith shop, which is another product line and name you'll see often in their clothing. This part of Ventura is extremely sleepy so it's very easy to find a free street spot and there is also some EV charging available as well. The staff here is very friendly and always very attentive so it's one of the best parts about visiting. There are many different rooms inside divided by product type and there is even a tiny little museum area with all sorts of pictures and facts about the former building and Ventura. One of my favorite things about coming here is they tend to have some Ventura specific, or limited run products that you won't see in some of their larger bigger city stores. So you can really find some stuff that would otherwise be hard to find online or out of state. I try to stop here every time I pass through Ventura and would recommend to anyone else to do the same. They have products for men, women, and children, so there really is something for everyone.

As a customer, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism -- especially from a company that prides itself on customer service and brand values. The exchange itself was straightforward, yet Maddie handled it in a way that felt confrontational and unwelcoming from beginning to end. It honestly left a terrible impression of the store and the company overall. After being a customer for nearly 30 years and a brand ambassador for this company, I truly never expected to be treated this way. If this is the type of people Patagonia chooses to employ to represent their brand, I do not believe I will be moving forward with purchasing their products in the future. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience absolutely warranted one.

The Sebenza purchase is actually a very funny and memorable story for me. One day, I was out for a drive with my three-year-old daughter, who always falls asleep better when I play music in the car. After she dozes off, I usually take her home and put her to bed. That day, while driving past the knife shop's new location, I noticed a celebrity walking into the store. I won't say who he was, but he's been around for a long time, and I'm a huge fan. Of course, I pulled into the parking lot and went inside right away. Besides the employees, it was just me and him in the store. I walked over to a display featuring some knives I had been considering for a while--kind of a grail knife for me. Clearly, I was just stalling, and everyone knew it, but they were kind and polite. Meanwhile, my three-year-old daughter ran all over the store, touching the glass display cases and leaving smudges everywhere. One of the employees casually followed behind her, quietly cleaning the glass but never saying anything rude to me or my daughter. After standing around for what felt like an uncomfortably long time, I decided to bite the bullet and make a purchase. I still have that knife and use it regularly, just like any other pocket knife. But every once in a while, I look at it, smile, and think about that day--the day I stood awkwardly close to one of my childhood idols, unable to say anything intelligible, while my daughter ran around making noise and leaving fingerprints on everything.
