Great happy hour- the burger was delicious with crispy truffle fries. Can choose loaded which comes with bacon, caramelized onions or plain. Drink specials included some discounted whiskey so enjoyed a couple cocktails which were perfectly crafted! Happy hour is 3-6.

My Monday spot! Great $2 oysters and half off wine by the glass or the bottle. Service is always on point. Friendly and attentive. The place is spacious and they even have a little lounge looking area.

First time, great place. We were seated immediately. Happy hour was in effect. Got the oysters, cheese corn dip, and the nacho/ green salsa. They were all so good. My daughter enjoyed her 2 tacos. Music was good and we weee able to watch the tennis match. We will definitely come back!!

First visit to Publick House!! Made reservations day prior- only availability was 515pm or after 8pm We arrived for 515pm OMG! The amazing aroma of deliciousness as we walked on the sidewalk to enter the restaurant! Great vibes and energy!! Warmly greeted and seated! Awesome music selection! Our Server Fred C was fantastic! He knew the menu well. Answered our questions! Appreciated his recommendations! Absolutely loved my LET'S GET FIGGY cocktail-- WITH IT FIGENZA FIG VODKA, ELDERFLOWER, LEMON, CINNAMON!! Cheers!!! As we waited for our appetizers, entrees and dessert- Saw the other Servers bringing out beautifully plated food and so aromatic! Enjoyed my shrimp and grits, GNUDI FRIED RICOTTA DUMPLING, CHORIZO & CORN DIP!! The truffle fries were yummy! The FLAN NAPOLITANO was the perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience! When we got our check, even though we were in the dining area- we got happy hour pricing for some of the items we ordered! Nice!! We will definitely be back!! Keep up the great service and amazing food and cocktails!!

Went for the first time last night the place is very small. Glad we got there early cause as it gets packed. It's very hard to have a conversation very loud. The food was all good. The service was decent. I would like to come here during the week next time

I've been coming here for a few years now, and I can't help but feel like the place is progressively going down hill. Don't get me wrong, it's still very decent and a great higher-end gastropub option in the area, but it just feels like over the years prices have gone up significantly while portion sizes and quality have gone down. For example, we just went tonight and everything was really way too salty. My husband, who never sends anything back, sent his beer back because it was spoiled. The pasta with boar ragu should not be a $30 dish. The portion size is very small and lacking meat sauce. One thing they've consistently done well is their seafood. They know how to perfectly cook seafood. The ambiance is cozy and dark and makes a great date night spot.

Nice, elevated gastropub. We happened to stumble upon Mountainside Restaurant Week and were surprised how many people were here on a Tuesday night! The Restaurant Week tasting menu was well worth it, including an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Everything was delicious and nicely plated, and although we were stuffed by dessert time, the bread pudding and tres leches were so good that we still managed to finish them. We'll be back again for a nice dinner out!

I had dinner here with friends and enjoyed my experience. When I arrived our table wasn't ready so I sat at the bar and waited for my friends to arrive. The host kept checking in and let us know when our table was ready. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We started with the short ribs and tuna crisp. I'm not a big fan of tuna but the tuna crisp changed my mind! Our appetizers were all great. For my entree I had the steak frittes. My steak was a little undercooked but otherwise enjoyable. I really loved the old fashioned, it was well made. Our server was very attentive throughout the night.

My colleagues got the lobster roll + champagne and I got the "sliders" with a side of truffle fries. They had happy hour prices for drinks as well, so we got a few glasses of wine and cocktails. They were HUGE. Almost the size a full size burger. One of the owners stopped by and laughed that it was the only size buns they had --- but it's seriously such a great + tasty deal! Kenny my go to server once again did not disappoint whatsoever! He was gracious and really worked hard to fit our reservation in on a busy Saturday evening. We were a party of 8 and had a visitor in town who we wanted her to experience a wonderful and delicious dining experience, and that we did!! We started with some appetizers of Octopus, salad and shrimp, chorizo and artichoke dishes. All perfectly cooked and so delicious. We all had some yummy cocktails, one in particular which I can't remember the name was sooo refreshing, and it had some cucumbers. Next for entrees 2 of us shared a chateaubriand which came with 2 delicious and ample size sides.of truffle fries and asparagus. This was my first time trying chateaubriand and it was so tender, juicy and cooked perfectly, and a generous size portion for 2 ppl. My 3 other colleagues shared a porterhouse which came with 3 ample sides, once again truffle fries, Mac and cheese and mushrooms. And they all enjoyed immensely and not one morsel left. The 3 other colleagues and guest had filet mignon with mashed potatoes, a fish dish I can't remember with a side and the last coworker had a primavera risotto, not on the menu but Kenny so generously suggested and had made for her because she recently had some dental work and couldn't really bite anything too hard. For dessert we had 3 different types of dessert, tres leches, chocolate mousse pie and almond cake. All were so delicious but the Tres Leches was the BEST I've EVER HAD!!!! Sooo yummy and tasty! Overall just a truly wonderful dining experience with beautiful presentations, perfectly cooked food sooo good and satisfying and of course Kenny is hands down the best server at Sweet Waters!! Attentive, caring, friendly and so personable. Thank you Kenny!

From what I've heard, it usually gets packed during peak sports seasons--but we happened to hit a lull (post-football, pre-baseball, and no major games on), so we basically had the place to ourselves. That actually worked in our favor--the quieter atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy conversation without the usual sports bar chaos. Drinks were a highlight. I went with the sangria, which was refreshing and well-balanced. Instead of ordering full entrees, we decided to share a bunch of appetizers. Everything that came out looked great, and everyone in the group seemed really happy with the flavors. As someone with a gluten allergy, though, I was pretty limited in what I could order. The ribs ended up being one of my only real options--but thankfully, they were tender, flavorful, and definitely the standout for me. Still, I do wish there were more gluten-free choices, especially since we were there to celebrate and share food. One thing that stood out (in a not-so-great way) was that we felt a bit rushed toward the end of the meal. We didn't even get the chance to order a birthday dessert, which was disappointing given the occasion, but seeing since it was only our group there I'm sure they were ready to close and go home. Service overall was attentive and friendly while we were dining, so no complaints there otherwise. It was winter when we visited, but I can see this being a great spot in warmer months--the outdoor seating looks like it would really add to the experience. Parking was easy on a Sunday night, and they do have a lot, but make sure to read the signs carefully since some spots are reserved for the theater next door. Overall it has a great vibe, solid drinks, and food that people clearly enjoy--I just wish there were more gluten-free options so I didn't leave still a little hungry.

The bread that came out was terrible- hard, inedible, and honestly better left off the table. The brie and raspberry in puff pastry was okay but unimpressive, with very little cheese inside. It didn't even look like they used egg wash on the puff pastry. At least make it nice, give it a golden glow. On the bright side, the lobster ravioli was delicious, and my friend enjoyed his mussels with chorizo, though he felt the chorizo was lacking. He didn't expect it to come on a bed of penne, while the portion was generous he was avoiding pasta. None of the desserts sounded appealing enough to try. As for drinks, my smoky old-fashioned was so overwhelmingly smoky that I had a lingering campfire aftertaste in my mouth longer than I would have liked. From the outside, it didn't look like anything special or a place to rave about but I quickly learned why it was all the talk with them. Since it was a Saturday night, they had a nice crowd and the place itself had a feel of both a sports bar and a brew pub. The one side was more of a sports bar type of feel (or setup) and the other half had more of a brew pub type of feel. After looking at the menu, I decided to go with the healthier choice so I ordered the Drunken Parm Sandwich. I wish I took a picture of the sandwich when it came out because it looked very good and like it was made fresh. Almost immediately, the server came over to me to let me know that they made me real chicken rather than the vegetarian chicken and said she would take it back for the vegetarian chicken. I opted to keep it since I knew there was a chance it would probably get thrown out. I took one bite of the sandwich and I have to say, it was one of the BEST chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had. It was piping hot and tasted fresh. From the chicken, to the sauce, to the bun, it all tasted fresh and practically melted in my mouth. It was a little on the salty side but aside from that, it was made to perfection. To top the night, as we were paying the bill, our server Maya (who was very friendly and tentative during our visit) handed me a take out container with the veggie chicken parm sandwich in it AND the general manager Greg came over to me to apologize for the mistake and said the veggie chicken parm was on the house. It's very rare for me that this happens. I wish I lived closer to Paragon so I can go back more often but believe me, I'll be back there for drinks and dinner next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend going there. Their service, food, and drinks will not disappoint.

It was packed on the Friday night we visited, with folks lined up for seating, or to hang at the bar and enjoy the bar scene. No reservations. Our late dinner worked fine as the mostly millennial and Gen-Z crowd started thinning shortly after we arrived. Millburn has always been a draw for neighboring townsfolk in search of a meal out. I remember this foodie town from 25 years ago, when its pizza, kosher and diner offerings were top notch. It seems to have upgraded its food scene several notches since my last visit so many years ago. Pure nostalgia for me which made for a very flavorful evening. TOP TIP: Street parking in this part of town is a hassle and the local cops keep a sharp eye for illegally parked cars and inebriated drivers. So park further away from the center of town where you are more likely to snag a legal spot on a busy night.
