Chill spot. Staff is super friendly. Sits inside of a complex, so there's plenty of free parking. It's a casual medium to large sized venue. It's a modern bar style kinda place. We had a bunch of apps, but I didn't take pictures of them all. Everything was good, so no complaints. Grades: Buffalo Chicken Dip: A+ Calamari: A+ Chips & Salsa: B+ Bavarian Pretzels: A

Stopped here yesterday for lunch and got to chat with the owner Don. Sweet guy who runs a great business. Staff were very friendly and loved the dog wall! Clean inside and good amount of bar space and table seating. Nice size menu with good options. We ordered the fried calamari and they were perfectly thin sized rings with a yummy Asian chili sauce. We got the power salad which was very fresh and had a great dressing. And I got a burger which was very good and my mom got a chicken sandwich which she enjoyed and had to take home because of the generous portion size. Great spot and I'd come back!

Food, service and ambience are all A+ for a community restaurant that is super family friendly. Service has always been perfect when we've gone and the food is always reliable, comes out hot and plenty of kids options to pick from. Highly recommend for NP/BH area!

Dunno why I haven't written a review yet for this grille. Great selection of beers. All the bar food is awesome. The chili is great. The staff are always very nice. Lots of locals frequent this establishment. I am a fan.

A small bar that's very police and fire depts friendly. Service wasn't the best due to it seems like a local bar where the staff knows all its customers. Food was decent.

2.5* Service here was very friendly. My party and I decided to sit outside on a cool April evening because the inside seemed way too packed. I wasn't a fan of the plastic table covers, hopefully they are wiped down thoroughly between people. My friend ordered one of their new specialty cocktails (the raspberry one) and was not a fan. She preferred the strawberry/basil cocktail. For apps we all shared the brussel sprouts (really good, but not healthy at all, maybe flash fried?), Tuna (unfortunately not a fan), peirogis (a bit oily and heavy). The salmon with mango habanero was pretty good. The rice that the fish comes with is seasoned very well. I wish the flavor/kick of the habanero was more noticeable.

I've dined at Harlee's a few times already, and it's always great. It looks like it's a very popular restaurant, but we never have to wait to be seated or order. Staff is friendly and service is quick. Everything I've had here is perfectly seasoned and well cooked. The only dish I would critique is the Cauliflower Bites because I was expecting them to be deep fried with a light batter. I wish they were, but they were fine as is. Harlee's is definitely my go to brunch/ lunch spot when I visit my friend in NJ.

Dear Harlee, I have to be fair in my review, which is why I can only give you 5 stars. So let me spell out to you where they all came from. * Atmosphere: Nice place inside, has some outside seating maybe I forget. We ate inside. A cute cafe on the long side so you do get some separation from other tables. Seems like owners had fun decorating. Feels modern - I like old school more, but 'tis what it is. No deductions * Staff: We were seated pretty quickly and we had a very nice waitress the whole time. She was honest about upcharging for a drink sub (coffee whiskey for vanilla vodka or something like that) and any questions we had... well let me say I had questions about dessert and she asked MULTIPLE people in back about what they thought! So given how willing she was to help us out, stopping by, refilling water without asking, always smiling... No deductions * Value: I saw photo of the ahi tuna app in the photos here. Waitress even said she'd have that as a meal. It honestly was a pretty good size for an app. My friend had a burger, and I'd say that came out on the more expensive side of things. Martinis also rather expensive - so let's call the restaurant "midgrade" in terms of you gotta pay a few extra bucks and I suppose that reflects back in the quality of atmosphere, food ingredients, etc. So maybe not QUITE 5 stars in the value department... * Food - entrees: Tuna was good but seared a bit beyond rare to about medium. Perhaps I should have asked if they could cook it less - I wasn't expecting that. Avocado was nice. My friend's burger was tasteless though - just beef. She wanted me to pass along how important it is to have the Bleu Burger with the buttermilk dill sauce, so I will pass along how much that may alter your burger experience. I just had a bite of the meat and mentioned I can make a better burger myself by just mixing some spices in with the ground beef. So we're definitely down to 4 stars now, and maybe a bit below that... but the one thing that really caught my eye when I arrived was * Food - dessert: The menu's right there on the table. It's HUGE. Like 15 different desserts. Like a diner but a restaurant. So okay, I ordered the tuna app in order to have a light meal to save room for dessert. One problem. There was cookie dough marshmallow chocolate cake, and then there was blackout dark chocolate cake. Both of these sound fantastic. I decided that since I couldn't decide, I'd have the first one here at the restaurant and then maybe bring the second one home with me (where I have milk in my fridge) and try it out. Okay, two problems. The cookie dough cake IS SO UNBELIEVABLY FREAKING GOSHDARN DELICIOUS that I just stuck my face on the plate, growled my friend away from it, and proceeded to stuff my entire body with the cake slice and lick the plate clean. And then ordered a second slice and did the exact same thing. The creamy cookie dough and the dark chocolate and the frosting and the chips and the whipped cream and the marshmallows and I WANT TO BUY ENTIRE CAKES OF THIS AND EAT THEM THE REST OF MY LIFE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER FOOD So in conclusion, 5 stars and I will be coming back for cake every couple of weeks for the rest of my life.

Onion soup

Jalapeño Poppers!!!! Love em (nobody makes these anymore) Onion soup was good except it tasted like there was red pepper in it. Burger and cheesesteak were good. Nachos were good except I prefer melted fresh cheddar instead of the chiz wiz kind of cheese used here. Salmon was very good. We will come back.

We tried the Boom Boom Shrimp, which were crispy and packed with flavor; the sauce was amazing. The Pan Fried Potstickers were also delicious, savory pork dumplings with a perfectly balanced dipping sauce (though I wish there had been more!). Lastly, the fried calamari was fresh and crispy, complemented perfectly by the sweet chili sauce. For our main dishes, we ordered the blackened chicken salad, which was just okay--not my favorite. The prime burger, however, was juicy and flavorful. The shrimp and sirloin dish was decent, but the shrimp were a bit small and overcooked. This place is great for enjoying a few appetizers.

When I closed out my tab, I mentioned to the bar tender (who was not too eager to help) that the number seemed too high. He said it was late and that it was probably a mistake, but if it showed up on my bank app, that I should call the next day. I was very disappointed to find that I had been double charged; I was charged for four drinks instead of two. I had an open tab, and so did a friend, he was charged a correct amount but mine was doubled. I called the next day and spoke to a manager, he said it happened all the time and that it would clear within a few days- and it would be the correct amount. When it didn't, I called back and let him know. He was able to see my tab and my friend's tab and assured me that it would fixed, it would just take a few days to get in touch with their bank. He took my info and told me he would get back to me. That never happened. I called a week or so later, and was told the manager was not in, but they would get back to me. That months ago. Every time I try to get in touch, it seems like a run-around. I liked the venue, but I will not be back.

Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!

The space has a warm and modern feel. On the food side, I enjoyed a beet salad. The dish was beautifully presented with a generous portion of beets underneath a tower of greens, topped with a fried goat cheese cake. Delicious! For cocktails, I started with "The Perfect Pairing" - a seasonal whiskey cocktail with Widow Jane applewood rye, Aperol, spicy pear liqueur, bitters, and muddled orange. I really enjoyed this sturdy cocktail. I'm not much of a dessert cocktail person, but Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream is my flavor, so I indulged with mixology ace Giovanni's "Mint Chocolate Martini." Pumping up the vanilla vodka, creme de menthe and another liqueur was mint chocolate ice cream. Other guests were raving about the espresso martinis (that use freshly brewed espresso right off the machine). It's safe to say that dessert cocktails are a strong suit at Providence Bar! Chatting with owner Eric, I learned that the patio has a retractable roof which will be opening up with warmer weather close at hand. They also hold special events (wine and food pairings, cigar nights, mixology classes). With great food, cocktails, and service - Providence Bar is highly recommended. I look forward to returning soon.

The host provided us with our menus upon each of us sitting in our chair, and we thought we were in for a nice customer experience. Upon being seated, we waited about 10 minutes to get bread and water, and then another 10 minutes after that for someone to take our drink order...and then the bar was backed up, so we did not get a drink in hand until about 30 minutes in. You would think that if it took that long to get drinks, you might want to put the appetizer order in when we ordered the drinks. This did not happen. We did not put our food order in until about 45-60 minutes. The apps we ordered were very good. The entrees were good as well, although upon ordering filet mignon medium rare, the meat was severely undercooked (essentially raw and jiggling). We had to request the order be heated to the correct temperature, which our waiter did without hesitation. Unfortunately, as we waited for this to occur the rest of our meals waited to be consumed. We then ordered our coffees/desserts - only 2. Our coffees came out within about 10 minutes, which we finished in another 10 minutes. Dessert did not hit our table for about 25 minutes. We had a 6pm reservation for 3 people. The entire meal took 2.5 hours to compete. We only ordered a total of 3 alcoholic beverages, 3 apps, 3 entrees and 2 desserts. From my perspective, the restaurant did not staff an adequate number of wait staff for the volume of customers. Additionally, there should be a dedicated staff member that can run drinks to tables. Even the person that filled water glasses and delivered bread was falling behind. She brought out apps plates to our table as we were finishing up our apps and eating out of our bread plates. Not a big deal, but just added to the underperforming service. Again, food quality was excellent, but the restaurant did not nail a great service experience on this night. The good news is that hopefully they can correct this for the future.
