a view of the produce section of a grocery store

Publix is pretty consistent throughout all the locations. When I shop at any Publix customer service is stellar and the food is fresh. I grew up in the Midwest and never had such a pleasant experience at a grocery store. My daughter and recently vacationed in Chicago and she kept asking to stop at Publix. She was disappoint to learn they didn't have any Publix stores up there.

A grocery store smack dab in the middle of one of the areas wealthiest neighborhoods... I mean what do you expect? Service, atmosphere, products are always above par. I really have not had many issues with this location. The workers at the checkout are always very friendly and offer to help take my cart to my car (probably because they don't want me leaving it stranded somewhere in the lot - read below on my complaints). I am always greeted at the door with a 'Hello!' from the customer service workers. The layout of the store makes sense and has a good flow to it. The products are always restocked and in an organized fashion. There always seems to be a worker in the produce section stocking/organizing inventory. The location is quite large so they usually have what I am looking for - I usually ask for help if I cannot find something. Since this location is in one of the wealthier areas I have a slight suspicion that they raise their prices a bit... that worries me. They have quite a large selection of baked goods & prepared foods. I have a few complaints about this location: - Depending on the time & day of your visit parking can be a bit difficult - Why are there so few cart returns in the parking lot? - Checkout lanes are always busy

Probably the ultimate yuppie/bourgeois Publix location. Nestled right in the heart of the faux downtown vibe of Lake Baldwin, this is everything you'd expect from a Publix. Not sure when it was opened, but it looks brand new. Very clean. Very spacious. Has a similar layout to most other Publix stores in the area, though the dairy aisle is the last aisle to the left rather than being in the back. They employ a lot of characters here. Senior citizens, mentally challenged, etc. It's nice Publix is giving these people jobs, but it's not always the most comfortable setting. I always get lost whenever I'm in the parking lot and the GPS is trying to show me how to get out. The lot itself is rather cramped, so be careful when you're entering and exiting spots. This location is partnered with Instacart and they have In-Store Shoppers here. Oddly enough, their storage space is in with the carts. That sucks for those ISS workers - they must be constantly getting bumped by shopping carts!

Sincerely would you eat this? Black and spoiled

I ordered from instacart some fresh cut fruits idk whos worse the Instacart shopper or the store the products were horrible as a shopper I wouldn't even buy it and as an employee I wouldn't even put it on the shelf. Never again deleted the application and won't even recommend this store

This Publix is not close to where I live. Being nearby at the Best Buy and the public library, I decided to stop in here for a few groceries. Don't you just hate it when you come home from being out of town and the refrigerator looks like something from out of a Mother Hubbard tale? And yes, the cupboards were somewhat bare as well. I have shopped here before, and leave happy every time. The store is always clean, the aisles are spacious, the employees are always friendly, and parking is never a problem. Some parking lots at a few Orlando area Publix are like something from out of that 70s' cult movie, Death Race 2000. People driving every which way while someone pushing a shopping cart is running for their life to get to their car. Not here. Even parking is done in a mannerly fashion. I am really impressed with the deli and produce section. I like the salad bar, which some Publix stores do not have. And the soup bar is impressive, having more of a selection than other Publix stores. It seems to me, however, that this Publix does not have a vast selection of grocery items that some Publix do have to offer. I found the seafood counter to be on the small side. And the meats section did not seem to have a bigger selection of package deli meats/hot dogs/sausages, and such. But I was able to find what I need. And the cashier, Laurie, and her stocker was quite friendly. Which leads me to comment on a review I read about this Publix before I wrote my review. The person left a one star review, commenting about how a Publix employee from the deli was agitated with her. Every time I come into this Publix, every employee is courteous and friendly. So I have to wonder if the problem was more of the reviewer's fault than the employee. If the employee is doing his/her job, only to have a customer making their job even more difficult and treating them like garbage, I imagine they should be upset. Would you like someone doing that to you at your workplace? And one more thing. Take a moment to wish those who work here a Merry Christmas.

This particular location, the Publix near Lake Eola, is not a location I shop FREQUENTLY, but it is one that I pass through more than some other locations. It is centrally located, making it fairly easy to get to. It has FREE parking underground - which is a perk in that area because street parking, pending the day and time, can get a bit tricky to find. The staff is usually always kind. Since it is near Lake Eola, this location does get a lot of foot traffic, so at times, it can get congested. It is a bit smaller than some other locations, but again, you can get a good amount of what you need here. Outside of that, it's your standard grocery store.

While yes, it has quite a lovely exterior and by comparison it is a larger than average footprint, it's just so crowded at all times. And because the parking is so egregious, you're just out in a bad mood from the get go. I've had visits where I had to circle the lot for more than 20 min just to find parking. It's the tourist TJ and I'm sure that's a massive contributor to how busy it is but out of the two I try to avoid this location at all costs. I find it confusing too because this was my go-to grocery store when I did my College Program in 2019 at the height of Trader Joe's mania and it was never as busy as it always is now. Don't be mad at this location be mad at TJ for only having two options in such a rapidly growing city. I can't believe there isn't an option in Winter Garden.

I'm watching the map and it says he's finally 4 minutes away... then I get a text saying "delivery attempted." !!!! I text the driver Marcellus and he blatantly ignored me for 20 minutes. Walmart+ said it has up to 48 hours to complete delivery... WHAT AN INANE POLICY when I'm guessing 70% of deliveries are GROCERIES. I had cold & frozen items in my order. I wasn't waiting. I get to Walmart around 11:30 pm just fuming. I will say W+ customer service was apologetic and quickly canceled my order... but then I still have no groceries. Sooo in my pajamas, exhausted, I get my stuff. I check out, I ask for a manager bc idk how a grocery delivery service can let such egregious behavior ride from an employee. He looked at me like I had 3 heads, and wouldn't even turn to face me when I was telling him how crazy unacceptable this was -- given I was ordering FOOD. What if I didn't have my own transportation...? Would it be acceptable to let someone just go without eating bc Marcellus decided he just wasn't delivering my groceries that night & he was aware of the W+ policy that states he has up to 48 hours to complete the delivery????? How many seniors shop at Walmart????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Here's the funny thing, one of my very first jobs 22 years ago was an overnight Walmart associate in KY where I'm from.... I KNOW Walmart policy inside & out. Management & Marcellus basically ignoring a customer goes against pretty much the entire mission statement, employee expectations, all of it. I canceled my W+ membership in the parking lot. I had used it quite often in the past 2 years but oh well. I'm still just blown away. I know I'm not one to mince my words, but I stand by what I said bc there would have been consequences for both the manager & Marcellus at the store I worked at. I say this bc I saw long term employees get hit with write ups or even fired for much smaller infractions. Safe to say I broke up with Walmart last night. Why get treated like dirt to save what -- $5, maybe $10? No, thank you.
