I tell myself that my collectors farther because there are some items at this location that I can't find at other ones, and that I'm treating myself lol! The team at this store in particular is always so friendly and they go above and beyond to answer questions or direct you to where to find an item. The store is large enough to where it doesn't feel crowded even on a busy Sunday, which made it easy to maneuver around to where I needed to go and get out quickly! This Publix is definitely always clean, relatively new and modern, and staffed with the friendliest, most helpful people. I go here at least once a week for my groceries. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience at the Marathon Key Publix location. During the week of Thanksgiving, we purchased several boxes of pasta for our traditional baked ziti. Unfortunately, when we opened the boxes, we discovered bugs inside the pasta. Because the store was closed on Thanksgiving Day, we were unable to return the product or get a replacement, which meant we could not prepare the dish we have always enjoyed as part of our holiday tradition. It was incredibly disappointing, especially on a day when we rely on Publix for quality and consistency. My family and I were born and raised in Florida, and Publix has always been our preferred grocery store. Even though prices can be higher than some competitors, we have continued to shop at Publix because we trust the quality of your products. I went to this Publix today to pick up a salad i ordered and was extremely upset after getting back to work and realizing there was NO LETTUCE ON THE SALAD , and only a few pieces of spinach an then i asked for light chipotle and it was so much it was unbareable. i have always loved Publix but it seems like the DELI workers HATE there job and if you are not there to watch there every move they treat you like this. then i go back to get a refund and take salad back and young lady at front tells me she has to give me a gift card because i paid with publix pay app instead of getting a supervisor to help , i have got refund to my card before when i paid with publix app. this was the worst situation i had in a long time . bald win publix is getting really bad. so much for lunch today read more

A grocery store smack dab in the middle of one of the areas wealthiest neighborhoods... I mean what do you expect? Service, atmosphere, products are always above par. I really have not had many issues with this location. The workers at the checkout are always very friendly and offer to help take my cart to my car (probably because they don't want me leaving it stranded somewhere in the lot - read below on my complaints). I am always greeted at the door with a 'Hello!' from the customer service workers. The layout of the store makes sense and has a good flow to it. The products are always restocked and in an organized fashion. There always seems to be a worker in the produce section stocking/organizing inventory. The location is quite large so they usually have what I am looking for - I usually ask for help if I cannot find something. Since this location is in one of the wealthier areas I have a slight suspicion that they raise their prices a bit... that worries me. They have quite a large selection of baked goods & prepared foods. I have a few complaints about this location: - Depending on the time & day of your visit parking can be a bit difficult - Why are there so few cart returns in the parking lot? - Checkout lanes are always busy read more

The deli and produce sections at the Baldwin Park Publix are a constant disappointment. They always under deliver and the service is beyond poor. The deli rarely has chicken tenders ready. There is always a lame excuse and it will be "10 minutes." Also, I have a difficult time understanding why ten employees can't manage to help three customers. Poor management and employees with no understanding of customer service. The produce section normally has rotten or moldy fruits and vegetables. Sometimes some of the vegetables are even out of stock or out of date. Nobody seems to take any pride in their work. This has been a problem for years. Hopefully someone will read this review and take action, but I doubt it since the store management hasn't cared so far. read more

Probably the ultimate yuppie/bourgeois Publix location. Nestled right in the heart of the faux downtown vibe of Lake Baldwin, this is everything you'd expect from a Publix. Not sure when it was opened, but it looks brand new. Very clean. Very spacious. Has a similar layout to most other Publix stores in the area, though the dairy aisle is the last aisle to the left rather than being in the back. They employ a lot of characters here. Senior citizens, mentally challenged, etc. It's nice Publix is giving these people jobs, but it's not always the most comfortable setting. I always get lost whenever I'm in the parking lot and the GPS is trying to show me how to get out. The lot itself is rather cramped, so be careful when you're entering and exiting spots. This location is partnered with Instacart and they have In-Store Shoppers here. Oddly enough, their storage space is in with the carts. That sucks for those ISS workers - they must be constantly getting bumped by shopping carts! read more

This is my local Publix. It's my go-to spot for any last-minute items I may need, from produce to baking supplies. What I like about Publix is that I can usually find an organic or certified non-GMO iteration of the items on my shopping list for a cheaper price than Whole Foods, Sprouts, etc. I will say that the produce tends to not be what I am used to from having lived in California my whole life. Its hard to find produce like that anywhere here in Central FL, though. For instance, this holioday season, all I want are some fresh organic navel oranges, but Publix has yet to carry organic oranges, and the conventional valencia oranges they just received in stock are only now tasting good - two weeks ago they were under-ripe. I keep hearing from Floridians that Publix is a great place to work and that it isn't just a job, its a career. on their career blog section of their website, they state, "Publix has been named 37th of 50 Top-Rated Workplaces for Veterans in an inaugural list created by Indeed.com based on veterans' reviews of their workplaces and contender companies' workplace initiatives focused on supporting veterans." Tips: Create an account on Publix.com to clip some digital coupons. You can also create your shopping list on the site. When you see the coupon, you click the "+" sign to add it to your digital coupon book and you can show the coupon when checking out. They also have recipes on their website. I live minutes from this Publix and it is by far my favorite one to shop at - although I do love every Publix I've ever been in. They are clean, friendly, and always have the things that I need in stock. This one is quieter and set in the middle of Baldwin Park, making it well off the beaten path. I enjoy the fact that even on the day before Thanksgiving this Publix had parking and wasn't the chaotic mess that some of the other store were. Bottom line: Even if you don't live in Baldwin Park this Publix is worth the drive! read more

This Publix is not close to where I live. Being nearby at the Best Buy and the public library, I decided to stop in here for a few groceries. Don't you just hate it when you come home from being out of town and the refrigerator looks like something from out of a Mother Hubbard tale? And yes, the cupboards were somewhat bare as well. I have shopped here before, and leave happy every time. The store is always clean, the aisles are spacious, the employees are always friendly, and parking is never a problem. Some parking lots at a few Orlando area Publix are like something from out of that 70s' cult movie, Death Race 2000. People driving every which way while someone pushing a shopping cart is running for their life to get to their car. Not here. Even parking is done in a mannerly fashion. I am really impressed with the deli and produce section. I like the salad bar, which some Publix stores do not have. And the soup bar is impressive, having more of a selection than other Publix stores. It seems to me, however, that this Publix does not have a vast selection of grocery items that some Publix do have to offer. I found the seafood counter to be on the small side. And the meats section did not seem to have a bigger selection of package deli meats/hot dogs/sausages, and such. But I was able to find what I need. And the cashier, Laurie, and her stocker was quite friendly. Which leads me to comment on a review I read about this Publix before I wrote my review. The person left a one star review, commenting about how a Publix employee from the deli was agitated with her. Every time I come into this Publix, every employee is courteous and friendly. So I have to wonder if the problem was more of the reviewer's fault than the employee. If the employee is doing his/her job, only to have a customer making their job even more difficult and treating them like garbage, I imagine they should be upset. This is my "home" Publix, as I live in Baldwin. This is like most Publix in this area, clean, courteous workers, good selection. The one thing I don't like is that, as it is in Baldwin, the prices are more expensive even for Publix. I honestly didn't even realize it until I went to a Publix in the Hollieanna plaza and many of the items were less expensive by quite a bit all the way up to 50¢ on some of the items that I purchased. This may not sound like a lot but when you're shopping for 2 boys who are always hungry and think that my kitchen is always open, it adds up fast. If you're trying to mind a budget, definitely shop the flyer. With coupons and BOGO deals you can do just fine but if you're not paying attention sometimes you're paying a premium price for simply shopping in Baldwin. I do love having this Publix so close. It's really nice when I realize I have a tablespoon of milk to get me through breakfast the next day so sometimes I'm perfectly fine paying that premium! read more

It's like most publix grocery stores, which I love shopping at. But one thing special about this one is they have Halo Top ice cream in the Oatmeal Cookie flavor. That may not be important to many but I have searched high and low for this flavor and it's not easy to find (they do have it at whole foods in winter park though). I've been impressed with Publix customer service for years and this location doesn't disappoint. This is my neighborhood Publix that I frequent often. When my son was a baby, the employees would always go out of their way to help out and entertain him as I was struggling to get out of the store without having a breakdown. Now that he's older, the service is still just as great. They are quick to help and always greet us when we pass by. Wow so I am in line for a sub, there are two people in front of me and a woman just cuts all of us. The employee does not correct the woman and starts taking her order, even though she has been there the entire time and was taking customers from the line. The lady then proceeds to point to and puts her phone over the counter, right above the food. The employee never asks her to get away from the food. So disgusting. They also have a fantastic selection and plenty of health/organic foods. On the weekends the throw weird events. The gist: This is probably one of the best Publix stores that I've ever been to. It seems like they are constantly stocking and getting in new stuff. It's clean. It's organized. Maybe a little small but hey...it wouldn't be the first time I've heard that! HEY-OH!!! Boom! I like this Publix and I like the fact that at any moment you will find a good looking MILF shopping in it. I even play a game with my wife and we do a full count of all the pairs of fake "chests" that we see in this Publix. Dare I say that this would be the highest concentration on record? (I'd like for some one to let me know if you think your Publix has more...but I'm virtually certain that this is "plastic chest Publix.") They have recently expanded their beer isle which like most Publix stores is to the far left of you as you walk in the door. How do I know this? I imbibe. With that said, make sure and walk that complete isle and then take a right. You'll see a whole new display of micro brews (sadly not refrigerated) in a "pick your own 6" configuration. This is sort of that concept that people were raving about when Total Wine came to town. Good stuff. In a weird phenomenon, and I'm not really sure what to call this, the people that work at this store are constantly saying hello to me! It's impossible to walk down an isle where someone is working and not have them look up and greet you with a hearty "Hello there sir. How are you today?" Now, I'm not sure if anyone has ever worked there before but is this something they get graded on in employee reviews? Because I LOVE IT! Wow!!! This seems to be the MECCA of all Publix stores in the area. We stopped in after dinner since we were in the area. As soon as you walk in, you are hit with the bright lights. It's almost blinding. (Or maybe it's because we were in a dimly lit restaurant prior to) This store is huge and clean. All the employees were busy stocking and cleaning, no one was standing around idle. And everyone was super friendly. I was pleased to see that they sell various flavors of La Croix flavored water which my Publix store does not. So I'll definitely be checking this location out when I'm in the area. read more

Kudos to the pharmacist on duty tonight. My daughter was discharged from the hospital tonight and I ran into Publix 15 minutes prior to the pharmacy closing. The Pharmacist on duty stopped what she was doing to accommodate our needs. She could have turned me away, continued her work and had me come back in the morning, but she didn't. All of them are great but the people at this one are PHENOMENAL. Always smiling, helpful and genuinely happy. Today I bought subs for the office. Two Gentlemen at the Deli helped me (I was preoccupied with work but it was about 2pm if any of you Publix managers are reading this) They were so helpful and went out of their way to make sure I not only got exactly what I wanted on six different sammiches (not all for me...this time), they suggested some other specials I might like.
